Had to do some catching up with the chat, i'm not to familiar of the roles being mentioned (this is my first IRON Mafia haha). 

 

What i can say is that i am on the fence about ABT, he put himself on the line to warn other townies from visiting him. But on the other side it also is risky that we are unable to verify him since it could risk other townies (which could also stop townies from investigating). I'm fine with the mod kill for now, until there is more information about this.

I'll be frank, I was silently hoping that Rafay'll get mod killed, even though he obviously can be a town. He's so useless and will surely remain to be for the whole game.

It's to late to have a proper wagon for some future analysis and that would be the only use we could get out of Rafay.

For everyone: if you want to know the (total) post count, you can just go to the topic list and then press on the "308 replies" (above the amount of views). You'll get a post count per player for the entire topic. Then you just need to keep track of the post count of previous days like Rhizo said to know how many posts where made in the previous day(s).

 

@Rafay: You REALLY need to be more active, it's been a while since I played Mafia, but you're still doing the same thing... I think you're probably a townie at this point, but I really would have no problem lynching you as you'll be no help at all for the town further down the line with that activity and the Mafia tends to keep players like you alive and kill the active analysts...

 

So now Jazzy still needs to make 1 more post to be safe of the mod kill. Then we can see if we're fine with the no lynch (fine by me) or still want to lynch someone (Rafay ).

Actually, if you read my post i said "since the start of the day" implying that you already had one post, but it was at the start. And to be the one calling me out for "ignoring the game" is pretty hypocritical being that you were also on the list for mod kill, but whatever. I agree with Yehom on his views as well.

Rafay has been scum in all the 3 mafia games I have played so far. So I can still get why he plays like that when he is scum. If he is town this game, then he has avoided the whole AbT discussion and now calling out others for the same reasons that he is guilty of too.
Seriously this can be overlooked for a new player but not someone who has played lots of mafia games.

Are you part of this group of 4?

I have two insights to add:

 

(1) Assuming AbT is telling the truth, whoever targeted him as lover is probably fairly new to IRON mafia games, as otherwise they wouldn't have picked someone who tends to die early. They probably aren't scum because scum will have a scum team of four people (or so) and there is likely to be at least one experienced player in that group who would advise whoever the person who targeted AbT to pick someone else. I dunno if any of this info helps us, but I thought I'd at least say it.

 

(2) I think calling OMGUS whenever someone expresses suspicion of someone who accused them is bs. It's perfectly legit to be suspicious of someone who wants to lynch you and doesn't in itself mean you're any more or less likely to be scum.

Do we learn the roles of the dead?

 

What happens when all 3 don't reach the required post amount? Does the person with the least posts get killed or all 3?

The player with the fewest overall posts will be mod-killed. In the event that there are several tied for fewest overall posts, RNG will determine who is mod-killed that day.

Um..... why exactly are you casting aspersions on me? I said we likely had a scum group of about four people, give or take. This means I'm suspicious why? (If you're new to mafia, generally it's possible to estimate the number of mafia by the number of townies, because only a certain proportion of the players as a whole will be mafia. Too many, and the mafia have too easy a win. Too few, and town have too easy a win. We have 17 players by my count, and roughly 1/4 of 17 is 4.)

 

And yes, we do find out the roles of deceased players.

Wow this is my first time playing outside of real life games, the amount of roles here is staggering. Is there a quick reference guide anywhere, other than the download on the how to post? I would prefer an info-graph or wikia.

 

In defense of Rafay, Samus does seem to have a huge boner for me with the sole reason being that I am new. Though I don't see him being the baddie because of that, and rather more of Samus being Samus and his love for me being too much for him to handle. With that I will

We use mafiascum.net as the main reference but it's really up to the moderator and and things can change each game.  

I sometimes try to use obscure roles just to keep things interesting.

On the other hand, the "typical" game will have a cop, a doc, and a scum with a power like roleblocker or ninja.

The game threads in this forum make entertaining reading, especially if you read the end first and know who's who while you read.
