If a player reaches the majority and is hammered there would not be a mod-kill for activity.

So MK is now stating something that just isn't true, saying we have no way to stop Samus from dying... But we do. If we end the day early and hammer in Rafay Samus would not be mod killed...
So to prevent Samus going down with Rafay, I think the best course of action is to hammer him in today and get a majority Lynch on Rafay

Let's not jump the gun and let @The Warrior give us a full on explanation on mod killing and hammering lynches, because the statement that you quoted was when MK was contemplating hammering after like what 24 hours since the day started. Of course it would make sense then to not mid-kill because some people might not have even seen that the day has started. We are now about 24 hours before deadline, so the statement you quoted may not concern the situation that we're in right now. Let's wait out TW's interpretation of the activity rule regarding a majority lynch before we actually hammer Rafay and risk killing Samus in the process. I could see TW actually ruling Rafay's favor since Samus isn't just a post shy of meeting the participation requirement, he actually hasn't posted the entire day

Well that's the thing. He *isn't*. He has yet to provide a single possible explanation for why two separate people have both said they know with certainty that his roleclaim is false, despite multiple people (including myself) repeatedly asking him to do so. The only reason I'm not placing my vote on him at this point is that he's pretty much lynched for sure anyway and there's no point in finishing the day early. (Actually, on that point, how much longer have we got to go, guys? cbb reading through tons of posts again to find the last one from TW lol.)

Regarding the activity rule:

 

The rule is obviously meant to generate a minimally acceptable amount of daily activity for each player in an effort to try to at least keep all players somewhat engaged in the game. There is no "hard" way that I will translate the rule. In other words, I will allow actual game flow and participation to help determine whether or not the activity rule takes effect on a given day.

 

In the current situation, we have one player (Rafay) who currently has enough votes to be lynched at deadline if nothing changes. We also have one player (Samus) who has yet to post the entire day. If nothing changes before tomorrow's deadline, Rafay would be lynched and I would be inclined to allow the activity rule to mod-kill Samus because there hasn't been any participation today. I did ping Samus yesterday btw and have not yet heard a response.

 

On the other hand, I have a possible replacement ready and if Samus has not posted by this evening I may just move to replace him.

When did i say that?
Mandy asked will both samus and Rafay be killed if Rafay is lynched before deadline. So I said that would be the the case.
Where did i say that we have no other way?
And that clarification as Yehom said, was at 24 hours from day start.
But now, that would normally not be valid.
And TW clarified that would be the case, unless he gets the replacement in.

What's vote count? This late in the day probably can just end it but not trying to allow rafay to kill another by voting himself and mod killing Samus.
