Being involved in the conversation or being active in the conversation is like saying tomato v tomato. Whatever word you want to use doesn't change what you meant by it. You are implying because I've been posting a lot on the topic of Rafay I must be scum. Yes I said what I had to say about Rafay, and I don't think I need to attack rafay or his story for anything else since it's clear he's lying. But it's also important to scrutinize everyone else that posts to try to root out other scum who are there, because after Rafay dies, we still have others to kill before the town can win. So call it active or call it involved, it doesn't matter. What you meant does not change. I just find it funny that your reason for saying I'm scum and trying to change focus onto me is I am active and involved in trying to find the other scum, and the focus of that involment and activaty has mainly been you. So I guess if we are active in looking for scum in the game and we think that scum is MK, we must be scum ourselves?

Brewers - MK exchange has been bit interesting so I am keeping an eye on that one. Dont want to comment on that yet.

I almost hate to bring this up, but maybe he is a Jester, which is a role that wins if they get lynched.  It almost seems like he's trying to get lynched.

He can also be the Jailor himself.

 

I'm not saying I believe Rafay, as he should be lynched 100% today. But I'm already thinking a little further in case he happens to turn up town (which I don't expect). Could he be framed or something? There's no insane Cop in the game I think? And I don't know about a modifier that can make a Jailor come up scum? Or is that what's meant with the "Various Sanities" in the 1st post of TW? Then we can have an insane or paranoid cop (or other roles?) I suppose...

BUT I REPEAT: I still think 100% that Rafay has to be lynched today!

 

And just lol at MK on acting even more scummy today than on D2...

What if scum started the bussing D2, but didn't want to do a lynch on D2. Then on D3, they could jump into his wagon without suspicion. No one suspects you much if you were in the wagon the day before too.

 

This is just plain stupid. Why would you risk 'bussing' someone when nobody expects Rafay to be scum? It makes no sense to throw someone under the bus at the first moment of doubt. If there was any bussing happening, wouldn't it make exponentially more sense to bus someone after he's already been suspected and after a few people already stated that he isn't what he's claiming to be?

 

Since Rafay is done and dusted, i am thinking of removing my vote on him and shifting it elsewhere, especially the no lynch zone.

Why the complete 180? That's flip floppy at best, scummy at worst. Currently I'm leaning towards scummy, given how you acted during D2 and after pretty much everybody piled on Rafay. During D2 you kind of call him out, but don't fully commit until others actually do. Then you claim that you always do call him out, but that is immediately refuted by multiple people. D3 you first want to end the day as early as 24 hours after the day started, which is very suspect no matter how you look at it. A forum black out later and you completely 180 that shit and want to keep the day going? I'm not buying it, something is up

why the 180? well, i first believed what brewers were saying, then i started to examine roles that would be able to say that rafay is not jailor.

the list is vague, only role cop can completely do that.

only if rafay was not roleblocked, would the other roles have a chance at finding that out. if rafay was carrying out the faction kill, he had to  either be roleblocked or the doctor would have come in play. since the doctor is dead, we can't confirm who he protected.

the chance of all PRs using their actions on rafay these 2 days is very, very low.

but apparently, we have 2 players confirming that rafay is not jailor.

he didn't say that he can confirm that rafay is scum. so this essentially rules out a framer.

since a framer can only make the cop investigation wrong, not the other actions.

he can change rafay's status to guilty, but the framer can't make it "not jailor/ PR"

I don't think Rafay's a Jester, it's Rafay (that Jester role is stupid and pointless anyway). Last game he made up his name (Yoda) even though he got a safe name from the Mod (TW's confirmed it at the end of the game). He's just not careful, not caring at all. He most probably made up his Jailer story not giving it to much thought.

 

Brewers is not lying - it would be super stupid to sacrifice oneself to get Rafay lynched (out of all players choosing Rafay? Seriously?). Sure, theoretically he / atliis can be scum bussing Rafay, but I'm not concerned about that right now. They'll surely either fully come out in 1/2 Days and share what they know or be killed by scum at night. If none of this happen they we may start getting worried.

 

Lord MK is acting very weird. He was fourth on the Rafay's wagon on D2 (making it just one person short to lynch him) and today he's almost defending him and jumping on the guy that is the reason of Rafay's lynching. It's almost as if he got scared on D2 that his partner, Rafay'll surely get lynched (judging by how fast wagon was forming) and he wanted to get confirmed. Unluckily wagon has lost it's momentum and today Brewers revelations have buried any chance scum could get to use Rafay's lynch (which seem to be a very probable thing) for their benefit.

 

Finally, as Lord MK mentions, there's a possibility that Rafay will turn out to be town, but not a jailor. Then it's Rafay's problem, not Brewer's and definitely not a reason to vote him. Town should never lie (unless they have carefully thought it out, are doing it for a really good reason and have the means to defend themselves in case their lie is uncovered). The moment every one starts lying for petty reasons is the moment mafia wins.

In almost every game there's a moment when town has no leads and will start guessing who might be the scum. That's the moment least participating / shady characters get lynched. That's the moment you'll be among the lynch candidates. That's the nature of the game - get yourself confirmed or get lynched.

Rafay is the right lynch for today. Even if he is town, which is so unlikely at this point, his gameplay has been really really poor. He claims he jailed Kevin on N1, believes in D2 he has some hand in stopping the kill but never goes after Kevin. He jumps on Samus at the fag end of the day and instead of jailing him the following night, jails Kevin instead? Its a shame that even after playing so many mafia games, he doesn't seem to care to put in any efforts at all in his stories, whether scum hunting or defending himself. So if that is how he will play, I am prepared to lose a jailer (0.01% odds he is town) as I feel town is better off without him.

 

MK plays a bit weird and scummy, so cant possibly say he is scum or not but definitely someone to keep an eye on. As for the rest I haven't formed any opinions yet on them.

 

Also I think its time where we should start to sort people into confirmed town, possible town and possible scum groups. To start off, as I said earlier, miller (if he exists) should come forward now. I dont see any harm in that. Scum may try to take advantage of this but by doing so he may either get countered by the actual miller or by coming forward he may bring attention on himself, which will be quite a risk at this stage with so much unknowns.

I was just looking at the possible roles in terms of what could confirm that Rafay was not a jailer and the Jester idea occurred to me.

@TW without confirming the existence of the role, if a Jester win were to happen, would the game end right away with just the Jester winning, or would the game continue and there would be a joint win.

If a Jester were to get lynched the game would continue. I would consider a Jester to be a joint winner alongside the winning faction.
