After the brilliant casting of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, I was wondering which character Ed Sheeran would be playing... but I guess this rules him out for anything. Report

The series is supposed to be based on the books. I have only played the games myself, so I'm expecting a deeper story. Report

He has the moves and the manner for certain, but I don't see two swords.I hope they didn't make a mistake like that... fans will be howling at the moon over it. Report

Is the 2-sword thing from the video games? I havent played it. In the books, he doesnt carry two swords. He has different swords (i think a separate silver one) that he uses to kill monsters as different monsters are weak towards different metals (iron or silver). But it doesnt specifically say he carries 2 swords at all times, only that he switches blades depending on the type of monster he is facing. Report
July 21, 20197 yr Author comment_980602 Is the 2-sword thing from the video games? In the games he carries two. Steel for humans, elves, and animals... Silver for monsters. If he does not carry two swords in the books, he probably will not carry two swords in this series. Many will call foul, but I say "very cool" for staying true to the source material. Thank you for clarifying the issue for me. Report
July 27, 20197 yr comment_980999 I am curious on how the casting is going to pan out. Quite a few people were screaming "black washing", while I dont care what color skin the actor has as long as they can do the role it would suck if someone was picked solely because the color of their skin. I haven't enjoyed a lot of the newer Netflix originals and I hope this one is more along the lines of castlevania and less like newer seasons of the marvel series. Report

I miss the days when screenwriters were free to write an amazing story, and directors were free to cast the best actors for the roles. Report

November 2, 20196 yr Author comment_988072 He's telling Roach to not judge him... that's awesome! All those times in the game when he's horribly outnumbered all come to life in this. I am totally all in from what I have seen, and I foresee a huge spike in game sales. A badly needed show in our time. Can't wait. Report

December 11, 20196 yr comment_990493 the reviews so far sound amazing. everyone is saying it makes the fights/battles in game of thrones seem like childs play. granted that might just mean they do them during the day so u can actually see the battles Report
