The Witcher 3 is an amazing game... I have a great Ursine build if you want it.
The series is supposed to be based on the books. I have only played the games myself, so I'm expecting a deeper story.

Is the 2-sword thing from the video games? I havent played it. In the books, he doesnt carry two swords. He has different swords (i think a separate silver one) that he uses to kill monsters as different monsters are weak towards different metals (iron or silver). But it doesnt specifically say he carries 2 swords at all times, only that he switches blades depending on the type of monster he is facing.

In the games he carries two. Steel for humans, elves, and animals... Silver for monsters. If he does not carry two swords in the books, he probably will not carry two swords in this series. Many will call foul, but I say "very cool" for staying true to the source material. Thank you for clarifying the issue for me.

I am curious on how the casting is going to pan out. Quite a few people were screaming "black washing", while I dont care what color skin the actor has as long as they can do the role it would suck if someone was picked solely because the color of their skin. I haven't enjoyed a lot of the newer Netflix originals and I hope this one is more along the lines of castlevania and less like newer seasons of the marvel series.
