Rules:

• During the day phase each player may speak and vote in-thread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• If two players have reached half-majority and have the same number of votes, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
• You may vote no lynch.
• After the day, the game goes to night.
• The game thread is closed during the night. The mafia may speak to each other at night.
• All active roles may submit actions via PM at night.
• The mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at night.
• After the night, the game goes to day.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game.
• Mass role-claiming is not allowed, but you may reveal your role if you have something interesting to share.
• You may pm me questions or ask them in the game thread but you may not get an answer to some things.
• When voting, please enter your vote on a separate line of your post so that it isn't easily missed.

• Active Participation Rule:
  All live players must make a minimum of 3 posts in the game thread per game day. Any player who does not meet the 3 post minimum on a given day will be subject to being mod-killed unless a legitimate reason for the lack of posting is communicated privately to the game mod. (In the event that something comes up that will prevent you from playing actively, please alert the mod so that a potential replacement can be found.) If multiple players have not met the post minimum on a given day, the player with the fewest overall posts will be mod-killed.

Game days will last seven days until there are fewer than seven players remaining. Then they will last as many days as there are players left.
Game Nights will last 48 hours.

Alright so is this just gonna go dead and be a quiet no lynch d1? We don't know what roles are in play, so I think the best option is a d1 lynch. Look what happened in the last game. We lynched on d1 and got scum. If everyone starts talking and we start discussing stuff, maybe we will get scum again today

With a 14 player game, I'm guessing 3-4 scum. Though with more players, gotta start looking out for the possibility of there being a 3rd party (read: SK). Other than that, who knows, closed setups got us all guessin'

I feel like it's just because D1 is hard to get any reads on, naturally. You have the random vote phase that is tradition, and nobody knows what's what. So you either have to wait for people to be lurking, say something weird, a wagon to form, or any pressure at all, really.

Im getting more of a 3rd party vibe from her than scum right now. Maybe a jester trying to look like she's going too hard to get lynched or maybe even a lynched and I am her target. Either way, she seems pretty committed to trying to get my lynched or at least a wagon started on me

More like you got lucky. Everyone knows I hate playing scum. But if there is going to be a d1 Lynch I'd rather it be one of the ones advacating for a d1 Lynch. Just saying.

So assuming 3-4 scum with 14 players were around a 20%-25% to hit scum with a random lynch.

 

I dont believe we've had a breakdown of PRs available so we arent sure what power roles we have nor the scum.

 

Given the random odds being the same for any player, I'll keep my vote on SM. She has the same odds of being scum as anyone else.

 

I'm not sure of the math tho if it would be better to no lynch or lynch today. Do we get a free day if we no lynch?

 

Assuming factors like SK potentially existing or a trigger happy vig (for the 3rd game in a row), our math relying on whether we get a free day or not might be flawed.

 

As for now I have no strong suspects but want to keep a vote on SM as I dont believe we should end today with a no lynch.
