Lynchproof

A Lynchproof player is a player who is resistant to being lynched. This is very often one-shot, as complete immunity to the lynch prevents players who cannot kill as a function of their role (i.e. Vigilantes) from killing the Lynchproof player.

Upon being lynched, a Lynchproof player will not flip (unless they actually die).

Lynchproof is a rare role that is generally only seen in role madness games. It has been known to be of any alignment; however, Lynchproof scum are very difficult to deal with under normal conditions.

Variations
The main article to this page is Bulletproof. Deathproof is a variant that combines Bulletproof and Lynchproof; however, it balances more closely to Lynchproof.

Use and Power
Lynchproof roles generally only appear where they fit flavor. In Town hands, its power is only moderate, but in scum hands, it's very powerful (pending how necessary the lynch is for players to get killed in general).

Role Madness refers to a type of game where most or all of the players have power roles; that is, there are few to no true Vanilla Townies. Because there are so many power roles, the veracity or effectiveness of Night Actions is very difficult to determine without knowledge of what the other players did. Role Madness games have been known to include unique roles designed by the moderator's whim as well, further increasing the potential for confusion.

Role Madness games are not to be confused with bastard mod games. In the former, the confusion stems from the sheer number of role interactions. In the latter, the confusion comes from the moderator omitting vital details about players' roles (if not lying to them outright).

Because the game hinges so much on players' Night choices and the number of possibilities to account for are so high, balancing a Role Madness game can only be rough at best. When reviewing a power-heavy game like this, the two things that must be checked for are broken combinations (i.e. if everyone claimed, could a group of players use their Night action to dominate the game? If not, could they do it after a certain player dies?) and whether any one faction can become grossly more powerful than the other(s).

The subversion of including a single Vanilla Townie in a Role Madness game has been done many times over, to the point where claiming to be a Vanilla Townie has been considered self-confirming (if not an outright Town-tell).

So it is likely that almost everyone has a power role and which greatly increases the chances of more than one of each role and, of course misinterpreting night actions.

Nonetheless, I am still inclined to believe WP is scum.

I do have to agree with you that WP is probably scum. But Seabee was a Vanilla cop, which either was a red herring or it means there might be a decent amount of vanilla roles

So maybe this is a role madness game or maybe it's balanced. Either way, WP is still most likely scum, but it's not worth the risk to Lynch him quickly today, unless we have no other viable candidates. It would be very hard to come back from basically three straight no lynches

So a lynch proof is a town or scum role, or can be both? If WP is truly scum, we can always have vig (if exists of course) to kill him. As brewers no need to lynch rush WP again as we may lose another opportunity to lynch.

On second thought, I am leaning scum on WP. Not only did he not mention about this as any another town would have when he knew he will be the one to get lynched, also lynch proof sounds scum role.

Or I remember there being a role who can prevent a lynch. Don't remember the exact role but I think it was a scum role. Of that exists then WP is sure shot scum.

Lachiton makes good sense here. I have never seen this happen before and don't know what to make of it. Though I will say we must be careful if there are many power roles out there. This game must be played smart from here on because mislynching could cost us dearly. I believe WP is scum, but would like to propose not trying to lynch him again today in case he is completely lynch proof. That would just screw us over in the end. With the possibility of having a Vig, it would be a much better idea to convince them to go after WP then to wast another day. I could be wrong. Opinions?

Yes vig can be our other option if WP is completely lynch proof. But if he is then he is most definitely x-shot.

The other possibility is presence of role who can prevent lynch, as I said before. I think it's Governor or something. And since that person prevented this lynch, then WP has to be scum.

Are you saying that its possible a governor prevented the lynch or that you know for a fact a governor prevented the lynch?  The way you worded your post sounds like you might now his lynch was prevented by a gov.

Yup agree. Also if the lynch was prevented someone other than WP, then he has partners. Will his wagon analysis help then? Who else jumped on his wagon and when? Or they may have already known that he is not gonna get lynched so joined very quickly on the lynch.

Nope I just presented a possibility. But if Gov did prevent the lynch, then both the gov and WP (unless WP is gov) are scum buddies. No town member would have prevented that lynch for sure, has to be scum.
@brewers why did u quote that part and igonored the preceding sentence when I specifically mentioned that there MIGHT be a role who can prevent lynch? Without that sentence of course it will sound like I know Gov prevented the lynch.

I do agree if we have a vig, that can be a surefire way to make sure we get WP, tho im guessing we dont have one, since the vig would have probably just shot him last night- tho it is possible that if we have a vig, they didnt shoot WP because TW did leave it pretty ambiguous if WP was killed or if he just forgot to post his death

WP lynch was ambiguous af. I initially thought TW forgot to flip him. Now I realized he was never lynched lol.

The first part sounded like you were just suggesting there could be a gov and the second part it sounded like you knew for a fact there was one. Just wanted some clarification, which you did provide
And true good point, if we don't have a vig we basically have no way of winning if he's Lynch proof so there has to be a vig

The question is, who did WP investigate last night? If he is truly the cop he should had investigate someone last night, and should have an answer for us.

I'm assuming of course that he investigated Kevin. WP full hearty believe him to be scum, and magically Kevin was killed that same night. Therefore the scum are just trying to set him up.
