okay so there seems to be a lot of confusion with is isoc a zombie/is he alive/is he a white walker.  In past games flavor had a direct impact on a game.  In this one, the flavor is just that, flavor.  I only used the burn the bodies flavor to hopefully help people realize that iSoc came back to life, and it has no impact on the game.  It is just flavor.  As for white walker or not, flavor names are just that, flavor.  For example: Just because white walkers are the big bad in the show it does not mean they would be the big bad in my game.

So I am not saying anything in specific about his alignment or role but I will say do not read as much as everyone seems to be doing with the whole is he an undead evil zombie thing, or what region was he from etc.

It feels like everyone is overthinking this.

I will try to simply things.  D1 isocialism was lynched and died.  At the start of D2, he came back to life.  He may have the same role or he may have a different role, that will not be disclosed, unless he chooses to disclose his role himself.

  • Author

thats the problem. I could be either or, his role could act like a cult now infecting other people.

no one else will be able to come back from the dead this game

I don't know how one could have misinterpreted brewers' threat. It was pretty clear the brewers did not appreciate the joke anymore (or at all). Letting it even continue this far most likely led to brewers enacting that rule to end the insult once and for all. iSoc's resurrection was most likely a sort of compensation from brewers for ending the day early and effectively killing him. However, the blame for iSoc's death falls squarely on MK, who continued to prod brewers despite the fact that it was clear that brewers was serious.

The way iSoc made his posts upon his return and brewers' vague description of the resurrection makes me feel like his role has changed, but more than that I do not know.

Was brewers serious though?

He killed iSoc and ended the day instantly.. I’d say he was serious.

But he resurrected him.

So it's everyone's fault.

.

And why is brewers playing? 😂

Also, vote count please.

I want to see who else is being voted on.

Vote MK

He knew he was putting me to lynch regardless if the day was going to end early. The objective was to lynch not trail by combat.

I don't think I have hinted at a new role, Investigating me won't do a whole lot either. It won't tell you why I'm "still alive for Pete sakes". This could have been a flavor in brewer's other game but we didn't lynch day one.

I'm alive not dead, the only thing to worry about is winning this game

Your unwillingness to cooperate with town is unsettling. To win the game, you need information to aid you. You have decided to withhold the information about your revival and what that makes you, that leads me to believe that maybe you don't want to reveal it because you could have been made scum.

I'm not saying MK is in the right, i definitely am with everyone else on that he used it to end the day, and hammer vote you. But i don't see why the rest of town has to suffer due to it. If you are truly town, why wouldn't you want to give your fellow townies information to help win the game?

With 15 alive, it takes 8 to lynch or 4 at deadline.  Deadline is Monday, Jan 14th at 2:00 PM CN time.

I have a theory. There’s a bandwagon on MK. I don’t think he’s scum, but I suspect there may be a jester. I suspect this because it is the kind of thing that Brewsky would be itching to make use of, and because he got touchy when I jokingly asked someone in the game message thread if they were trying to get mod killed. On top of that, MK’ is acting like he wants to get lynched. Thoughts?

I highly doubt Brewers resurrected iSoc as a way to makeup for the fact that he mod-killed him. It's highly more likely that it was part of the game design that the first player to be lynched would be resurrected as a way to fit the GoT narrative or the dead needing to be "burned" or they could be resurrected by the Night King.

I agree with you. MK was completely reckless and doesn't seem to care.

If we lynch early we are making a very stupid mistake.

We should definitely NOT end the day early. More time only helps town. The only reason I haven't voted for MK yet myself is that I don't want an early lynch and he's already in line to be lynched at deadline.

It could have been handled better but I am hoping that iSoc's above post is actually telling us what he knows. It is possible that he had no idea this would happen until Brewers presumably told him he was alive again in his role PM. In my mind there are two possibilities for what is happening:

1) iSoc is indeed town still and Brewers just used this 1-time mechanic as a GoT easter egg.

2) iSoc was resurrected as a member of the scum team which of course he wouldn't disclose to the town.

I'm willing to trust iSoc is town again for now. We'll see if it gets to the point that we need to lynch him again later to verify though.

@Brewers - Didn't you say that you had a replacement for Kaznawim if needed? I think it's time to make that change.

Totally agree with this, you pushed him to far and got that result, as for Isoc he is still alive, on both counts i think we need to move on now.

whether MK is scum or not im not sure but he pushed Brewers to the limit, a mistake i hope he doesn't make again.

now on Isoc whether he has a new role is really for us to find out, keep asking the mod will get us basically nowhere

Welcome Yehom! Glad to have you filling in.

I just had a hunch that iSoc was scum.

That's why I voted for him.

You earlier said that you didn't see Brewers post about ending the day early. Is that true? If so, did you also not see the handful of posts leading up to it from multiple people saying that a trial by combat was preferred to a day 1 lynch?

From mafiascum.net:

Closed Setup

A Closed Setup is one where the roles are not known to the players beforehand. This is the most common type of game.

So we don't know the possible roles, so what?

A player that was lynched is alive again.  Consider a few possibilities from mafiascum.net:

Reviver

A reviver can either refer to a player who can bring dead players back into the game

Lynchproof

A Lynchproof player is a player who is resistant to being lynched.

Deathproof

A Deathproof player cannot be killed or lynched.

And there's nothing that says the only roles possible are from those listed on mafiascum.net

I like the game and the twists.
