  • Role modifications are in play

ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED.

  • All players are required to post a minimum 3 times per day. Any player who does not meet the reqired post counts will be subject to a mod kill. A mod kill and a lynch may both happen at my discretion. If multiple players do not meet the requirement, the one with the lowest post count will be killed

Back in the day, we would always do no-lynch on Day 1, and then go after inactives ...

Well, back in the day, the Baby could walk.

Can't do it now, right Finny?

So these days, we take out loose cannons.

Come here so I can whack you with my cane. :P

UNOFFICIAL VOTE COUNT. Important, this is unofficial - there's a high chance based on D1 that brewers is using vote modifiers, so don't take this as gospel.

Ferastical (1) Torres951
Finster Baby
KevinH
Lyner
Lord MK (1) Ali bin Turban

The Warrior (2) KevinH, Smitty256
Torres951 (4) lilweirdward, Lord MK, Canik, Ali bin Turban

With 17 players alive, it should take 9 to lynch or 5 at deadline. Deadline is 8/4 at 9am CN time.

Not Voting: Dontavian, Ferastical, Finster Baby, Lyner, Nadarr, Rafay, SealTeamPi, Velocity, Wolfpacks

Also the AbT vote for MK was taken back later, so his vote is just for Torres right now.

LOL @LWW:  I was just trying to compile this.

The only places you and I disagree is Torres unvoted for Ferastical and you show AbT as having voted twice.  His last vote was for Torres.

WIth 17 alive, it takes 9 to lynch or 5 at deadline, if my understanding on how the rounding works.... Experienced mods correct me pls.

Ha! Can't tell if that's good or bad timing lol. Yeah the AbT thing was a mistake. I never saw Torres unvote but tbh his posts are so cancerous that I skimmed over most of them lol.

Thanks guys. Im currently slammed with end of month at work and then going out of town until Monday so unfortunately I will not be around this weekend. But everything will be updated Monday morning.

@KevinH you're voting for TW again? Interesting.

Robert is an interesting alternative to Torress. I wonder how many of his posts were today.

@Robert are you alive?

It is now Day 2.  Deadline is 8/4/2020 at 9am CN Time

Oops, yeah, meant @Wolfpacks xD

I don't see any justification for the Torres wagon (other than we have to lynch somebody)

Me neither TBH, we're in a game where you have to vote, and he just happened to place his vote on me. In the end, nothing happened, no one was harmed (except maybe Torres' reputation)

Vote -> The Warrior

It's not entirely random choice here. When we still don't have clue who's the scum, but we have to vote, we should either take out inactives or players that are irrational.

Assuming worse case scenario, of lynching Townie, I'd rather not do it to an experienced player.

And why tw? If he might as well be scum, then torres might as well be scum.

My vote isn't targeted solely towards TW, it is to even the battlefield. As you said, TW and Torres technically both have equal chance to be scum, although Torres appears to be more suspicious. Mafia should be a game of finding scum, not punishing what's considered bad play. So far I've not seen much proof of Torres being scum, and it would be right to say we have no proof of TW being scum either, but as no-lynch is not permitted, a decision must be made. If the majority thinks Torres is scum, my vote won't end up mattering. Ideally, I would like to see this make it to trial.

After all, it is D2, evidence is scarce and relying on our judgement is the best thing we've got

Ferastical has a point here, unless somebody comes forth with information (someone knows somethin), we don’t have much more to go off of D2 than we did on D1, but I would recommend not coming forth until you know more

To be totally honest, I think it's probably more likely than not that Torres is town. I don't think it's totally unlikely that he's scum though, and at this point he's as good a guess as anyone except Velocity lol. I disagree about bad play though, at least in absence of any remotely decent scum leads. It's why we go after inactives early on is because they don't help town with any information. My problem with Torres is along those lines - it doesn't seem like he's really even trying to play to win, and as we go on his lulzy approach will hurt us more than anything.

If any actual evidence comes up against him or anyone else then I'm happy to push harder for a lynch, and I don't mind sending someone else to trial with him, but it's not like the votes on Torres are completely random or without basis.

I totally understand  :)

The play style should be to aid the town, otherwise you're scum suspect.  Nothing Torres has done has advanced the towns knowledge or efforts to find and kill scum.  So he's either a terrible player or scum.....at least in my thinking.

On D2 I lean towards waxing an inactive though.  They're not helping us either.
