Trump will only need 4 years to fix things. He now knows he needs to clean house first. He knows who to fire immediately, and he knows who to hire immediately to fire everyone else down the food chain. New blood and a focused agenda.

 

Who is next? I'm still a Ron DeSantis fan. He should have stayed out as soon as he knew Trump would run. Running against Trump has hurt him... but not nearly as bad as it hurt Nikki Haley. She's pretty much toast now. Can you say "Jeb Bush"? Yeah... it's that bad.

 

Something happened today that I see as a possible VP choice. Trump took the stage in New Hampshire and brought up Vivek Ramaswamy... and he killed it for an amazing Trump endorsement. Makes me think this has been planned. We shall see.

 

Republicans have a very deep bench, but it's hard to get them all behind one candidate. Democrats are too easy... it's like herding sheep.

This is my biggest fear. Too many just don't care, and I think you're right... it's way too late.

My only hope is that we can stop the bleeding and keep things livable for as long as possible.

I'm thinking about selling my houses and moving to a rural city... my houses are worth quite a lot right now.

The problem is... I don't believe people can afford the mortgage payments.

According to your desired requirement, no one in US leadership is able to do business without invasive screening and denial of service... or is it just Donald Trump you want this restriction on?

 

It must be okay to sell your vote, collect checks from bogus board seats, accept gold bars from drug lords, manipulate stocks, sell garbage passed off as art, incite war, cause global panic and lie about it, rig elections, weaken the military, humiliate the police, falsely accuse political opponents of crime, destroy the economy, cripple energy, encourage open theft and vandalism, ignore immigration laws... But no, your Constitution prohibits Presidents receiving any $$ from foreign governments, in whatever fashion it may be presented. Sure all other Presidents just devested themselfes and would probably have gotten the windfall post-presidency anyway, but even Trump never did so. Joe Biden had a very bad day yesterday. The good news for him is he will not be charged for his illegal possession and incompetent storage of mass amounts of classified documents. The bad news for him is the reason why they are not charging him. They won't charge him because he has dementia and is incapable of standing trial. I think he would have rather been charged.

 

If Joe is too demented to stand trial... how can he possibly remain as President?

 

This has Democrats in a real dilemma. If Joe wants to run, there is no way to stop him... he is the incumbent. They have to convince him not to run and complete his term. The only other way is for them to call up the 25th Amendment and take him out of office. Fine and dandy, but this makes Kamala Harris President... and she will then insist on running as the incumbent.

 

On the other hand... Donald Trump had an absolute splendid day!
