It was quiet that night in Arcanus, as usual. It was around midnight, and most everyone was in bed asleep, or getting ready to go to sleep. Suddenly, powerful explosions rocked the town. The whole town shook as though it was an earthquake. Out of some windows, you could see colourful flashes of light. Then it stopped. Puzzled, afraid, and intrigued, the townsfolk got out of bed to investigate. They found the fields of Farmer Joe scorched badly, and here and there it looked as though there had been an explosion. Talking amongst themselves and putting tow and tow together, they soon realized that these were no ordinary explosions; they were caused by magic. Everyone headed back to their homes in fear and awe wondering what would happen next...

Alright, I think we need to weigh out the validity of both our role claims now.

 

Personally I am pretty convinced. It hits the theme which lends credence to its actual inclusion from the mod. Now, I'm not ready to jump on EM until we work this out with more townies. The worst lynches come from under-communicated bandwagons.

 

I'd like to hear from Molestargazer and CannucksDynasty on the implications of the roleclaims. Although I am not as of yet 100% convinced for their towniness they are our big hitters in my experience and I'd like hear their thoughts on the situation before I condemn ElectricMango. Not to say you guys are on my suspicion list its just to early to call anyone town for sure.

I'm pretty certain SJ is a cop/soul seer. In his posts he's been on EM case early on in D2. He tried several times to persuade myself and others to change their vote to EM. He even asked AOD to protect him from a nightkill. All of this led me to believe he was a cop. If this is a scum tactic...well guess what...we have our next lynch candidate for the next day.

 

AOD roleclaim I am a bit skeptical but it'll be a moot point as he will probably be nightkilled (if he is truly the doc). If AOD isn't nk...chances are he's probably scum. Cuz mafia would need to get rid of the doc in order to nk SJ.

 

Therefore if you believe SJ...you should vote EM.

Sir Jesus has backed me into a corner with his insistence that I am scum. His role claim has all but put the final nail in my coffin and I don't see how I am going to talk my way out it. So instead of pleading for my life in vain I'm going to go out and at least take someone with me.

 

First of all, I am scum. Sir Jesus knows this and that is why he is so adamant to get me killed, but there is something that he is not telling you, he is scum also. If he wants to take me down, he's going back to hell with me. Let me tell you the naked truth.

 

I am a demon, an evil murdering demon, whose sole purpose was to kill every single one of you and be the last one left alive. I get to kill at night when you're all sleeping peacefully in your beds. I am the one that most likely killed Martino, but I am not sure. You see, my actions are controlled by a dark wizard who chooses my target for me each night. Only after the wizard is killed am I free to kill whom ever I choose. I never knew who the wizard was until Sir Jesus was so adamant about killing me.

 

Sir Jesus is attempting to appear as a townie by leading the charge for my death. When I am killed, my alignment would be revealed and Sir Jesus would be trumpeted as the mighty hero who slayed the demon.

 

Kill me yes, for I would kill each and everyone of you if I could, but do not be fooled by Sir Jesus. If I am to die I at least want the satisfaction of bringing down the wizard responsible for it.

 

 

 

Don't kill me just yet though, as I would love to respond to what SJ has to say about this.

and since EM set the precedent i might as ell follow. i am a golem, and like EM i dont have a choice of who i protect until the summoner who controls me dies.

 

and with that instance i believe EM is lying about SJ. if SJ was in fact the one controlling him, it would be stupid of him to kill the one person who allows him to kill at night. unless he controls 2 people, which is not completely impossible. as i've said EM seems to be trying to bring someone down with him to give the scum a chance and to knock out the cop role at the same time.

also while i'm on the subject, i dont believe the summoner/wizards(the controllers) have any idea of who the controlled are, which explains why i'm able to protect myself. if the controller decided to protect me at night, there would need to be a chance for the protection to work, if it were impossible for me not to protect myself, it would give my role away to the controller. so thus i believe Narsis threw that in there on the off chance of it being needed. but of course i'm playing guess the mod's thought process again

@SJ - I would suggest you not investigate AOD. If he is truly the doc, he will be nk and you would have wasted your night action. I suggest you look towards those that voted for KevinH (mole, theo, aquinas) and AOD (mole, falzis, junk) prior to your roleclaim.

 

If AOD survives the night, then most likely he is scum. But I wouldn't lynch him yet until it is LYLO. Just in case scum are purposefully avoiding nk AOD in order for us to waste a lynch on him. If this happens...then most likely myself or mole (if he's townie) will get nk as we are the last of the vets in this game.

 

This is just my suggestion but you have good instincts so use them.

For my purposes but may change due to AOD's recent post.

I'm not part of any scum faction. I am all by myself and ther person controlling me knows it's me. I'm not trying to bring down an innocent townie, Sir Jesus is most definitely scum and CD also seems to be sticking up for him quite a bit. It wouldn't surprise me if he flipped either.

 

Whatever the town decides though is out of my control. I only hope that you believe my story as it is the truth. I simply want my death to be avenged.

 

I know almost for a fact that Sir Jesus is scum and is not an investagator. I'll pay out 50 tech to a random person that voted to lynch Sir Jesus if I'm wrong.
