If I were the mafia, I would've claimed to be the cop, when I had 5 votes against me! That would at least save me from day 1 but since I am a townie, I would get kill the very night! Which is pointless. I believe, somewhere up when I was about to be lynched I told everyone I am not a cop.

You are changing the subject again CanucksDynasty. You showed me that strategy then stab me in the back when I use that formula. If you didn't believe it yourself, why did you give it to me?

1. You don't have 5 votes for you only 4. So you saying that you would have claimed cop is pointless. And no...you wouldn't be the cop or any pro-town power roles. I said in an earlier post that I suspect that you are either a vanilla townie or mafia (leaning towards mafia). Am I 100% certain that you are mafia? No...cuz that is just my opinion.

2. Seriously?!? Again...I just supplied data. You made the assumption that I was in favour of that strategy. Unless I specifically state that this is the way to go...then it's just data. I've supplied both no lynch and lynch scenarios prior to this no lynch on D1 and D2 strategy. So by your reasoning...I'm flip-flopping on lynch/no lynch then??

I am not unvoting but have some additional thoughts ...

The way I understood Kevin's post was he was assuming or predicting that scum won't NK if we put our plan into place (3 persons per room in 4 separate rooms) because it would be to risky for scum because it would be a 50% chance of suspicion.

Yes, strictly because he's inactive. I think on day 1, any lynch is pretty much random but an inactive will disrupt our plan.

KevinH, in your scenario, would you suggest lynching people from the pool of 6 until we've found the scum?

The pool of 6 would have scum points against them and there would be additonal data points considered later. We could split the 6 into separate rooms for the next night and if another night-kill occured in one of those rooms, I'd put double suspicion on the players that were in the room both times with a night-kill.

I still say that "mathematical analysis" is a bad idea not because it shows that there is 51% chance that 2 mafias could end up in the same room, but what we will do if we buy it. (We will keep lynching everyone in the room)

How can math be a bad idea?
1. You are assuming that we will keep lynching everyone in the room. This is a game of flux. Nothing ever goes as intended.
2. SJ pointed out that 51% chance that mafia could end up in the same room. So what! A nightkill will most likely happens in the room that doesn't have 2 mafia in it. What did it achieve? It limits the choice of targets for mafia down to 2-3.

@CanucksDynasty, this still remain my stand, if you could overcome my reasoning then I will consider using yours. Which is what happened. KevinH somehow, went pass my logic so I used his then you showed support and that formula to set me up!

I agree. I think it is very important that we don't leave a person out a proper room assignment or to take that risk. I wonder then, who would you be voting for if we were not faced with Crazyemolad's inactivity assuming you had no additional reasons to suspect Crazyemolad? I ask because although I believe at the end of the day I would agree Crazyemolad needs to be lynch, I leave my vote on SinKon so that it may be reflected I believe him to be the biggest active anti town voice we have.

Yes...even if you die...so long as the town wins you would win too (provided you are townie).
The same goes for mafia.
The only different ones would be the independents (like a survivor who must stay alive til the end game).

heh. as CD said as a townie(or mafia) even if you are dead you can still win.

also you are correct that WIFOM is where i think that you know that i know that you think that i know what you are really thinking and trying to do and thus play the opposite of what you think you know.

and dont stress yourself trying to understand what i just said.

also, alone i dont think you could pull that off. however, if you are mafia and they have the ability to speak during the day(something that seems to be getting more common) they could easily be passing you pointers.

yeah narsis, i don't like firkked and i don't like sincon. they both seem to be changing votes too easily for my liking.

I tend to agree.

Of course, my votes have been jumping around too. But I feel like the only opinion that SinKon (and not so much Firkked) can carry is that of what the town also carries.

Vote: crazyemolad just because deadline's getting near and I can't be the hammer vote because my activity online has been sporadic so I can't assure a hammer vote (although I will make time to be online on the 48 hour thingy room assignments).

junk, I've always signified that I would vote for crazyemolad. The addendum was just to explain why I'm voting now since I don't think I can monitor this thread in the following days (since I previously said not to rush votes on crazyemolad until 2-3 days before deadline) and I could only come back with attention during the 48 hour period to go to our rooms.

Yes I voted him mostly because he is inactive. If he was not active, I could have voted SinKon. At first I found his posts amusing but then I got tired of reading a lot of his posts and he looks like he's talking in circles. But I don't know maybe if crazyemolad was active, things could be different. Probably not...
