  1. Big Donald doest it again
  2. Let's start gathering what all Obama has been called by the right-wing on internet...weeeee
  3. Meanwhile so much salt and tears flowed from Breitbart and Donald reddit over French elections that it is believed ocean levels have risen so fast in last few hours that Climate change is now a moot point, another win for big Donald.
  4. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/dortmund-bus-terror-arrest-german-russian-share-price-blamed-muslims-islamists-islamic-put-latest-a7694216.html bomb making soviet trait, gotta ban the Russians now!
  5. General: "President Sir, The rebels aren't playing along in Crimea, our ships are locked and loaded to strike them". Trump: "You have my approval, please proceed to strike" *ISIS gonna regret this, what a beautiful cake, like my daughter, gotta tweet about this while I take a dump*. An hour later, Russia strikes back, we're in WW3. Meanwhile, Trump tweets: I had the most beautiful cake ever folks, it was made in America, by Americans 1/2 2/2 you gotta buy original American stuff folks, not Fake like media and Chinese goods. MAGA.
  6. Oh yeah, tbh, on democratic side, Hillary is probably the worst contender they put forward.
  7. http://www.truth-out.org/progressivepicks/item/33180-wikileaks-reveals-how-the-us-aggressively-pursued-regime-change-in-syria-igniting-a-bloodbath Ccabal, you ask the question on why and how extremists get nurtured, here is your partial answer. You cite a small minority to claim inherent issues in overall religion. The small minority that has been nurtured, armed, funded, brainwashed to do the dirty geopolitical work, Frankensteins which are now out of control, spreading thier perversions like a disease, first in our societies, now in yours too, unfortunately.
  8. Nah, they find an excuse for the redemption. "I was bad entire life, world's out to get me too, but here, the skewed version of religion would lead me to correctness and perhaps a better afterlife, weeee"
  9. Regardless of the geopolitical mess, killing civilians with chemical weapons is a no no. Tho, I do wonder ifs ok instead if they're killed with Russian and American conventional arms? To be honest, there were dozens of reports of Syrian Nationals praising Putin when he entered the arena. The response of the world has been along the party lines, those opposing Assad praised it, those supporting him denounced it. Neutrals kept shut or put out a token statement.
  10. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/09/no-peace-in-syria-until-assad-is-ousted-says-nikki-haley Looks like they'll be reverting to policy that has failed and blew up on the face for past 20-30 years in the region. There are two forces, on ground, capable of knocking out ISIS, the govt Army, which is now the target of West and Kurds, some of whose factions are involved in terrorism in Turkey, so, they'll be locked out the moment Turks decide they're becoming a proxy too strong that will be used later to destabilize Turkey. Everyone else are ISIS and AQ wannabes. So, we're back to square one. Frankly, the policy appears to be to keep Syria in perpetual destability. When McCain starts to support Trump, you know something is actually wrong. -- GOP could've called Obama's bluff and taken the initiative but like everytime, they couldnt produce any result apart from making lots of noise and calling their own bluffs.
  11. It's not like US backed rebels haven't used chemical weapons in the past.
  12. I think those who have a long history of criminal record and drug abuse wouldn't be going towards the oath of self correction.
  13. If I remember correctly, Republican Congress didn't want to go ahead with strikes when Obama asked for the political backing..
  14. Quoting myself for posterity. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-39470210 What do you know, it seems they're taking the first step, which is a small start, but it's stupid, you don't fucking need a task force, you know what the solution is: Solitary confinement for haters. Grouping up extremists in jail has been a dumb move from get go, that's where all the ISIS founders met each other in Iraq and planned their horror, thats the nerve centre of radicliastion in France, UK etc...The jails, it's the perfect toxic mix, you already have have druggies and criminals holed up, who already have proven tendency towards violence and then in radicalisation they somehow discover redemption on their mistakes instead of correction. You find a lot of common theme amongstany attackers in EU, they all have drug problems, they all have criminal records, they are criminals, frist and foremost and then they get radicalised on their journey towards self desutruction.
  15. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-administration-stops-disclosing-troop-deployments-iraq-syria-islamic-state-isis-a7662016.html All signs seem to indicate that now, defeating ISIS has really become the priority. This is great news, no more double games, no more power games, defeat ISIS first please. I would have quoted myself again for posterity regarding my earlier posts on how West needs to prioritize fighting extremists first and foremost instead of nurturing geopolitical dramas. I agree with alot of Trump voters on how Bush and Obama fucked up the Middle East.
  16. Language --> Wheel --> Printing Press --> ~~electricity~~ --> WWW ---> Yoga Pants. Tho, the way babies grasp the language so quickly...I think there's more to it than someone just inventing language. I know it's not a discovery, you leave the baby alone, he'll never speak it. I think Humans kinda-evolved towards acquiring language.
  17. Due to time value of money, the 30'th million in 30 years will be worth less than the million today, given the current global economic system of printing money, there will only be inflation, if there is global deflation, you're fucked anyway. How less, depends on the current rate of interest/ discount rates, the simplest to benchmark would be against long-term govt t-bills. I'm too lazy to do the NPV of this right now.
  18. What's the greatest invention of all time?
  19. Okay... let me stop laughing first... I know, just like healthcare. That laughter is evil.
  20. I have 3 cable boxes, 2 DVR's, 2 computers, a router for the wife's wireless, high speed, gotta have Fox News, HBO, Showtime, Starz, and a land line. Netflix is separate from all that. If there's a cheaper and more efficient way to get it, I would most certainly do it, but I wouldn't know where to start. I've been with Cox since I moved to Las Vegas in 1997. Not sure what the 2 computers, and a high speed wifi router has to do with $250? Who pays for land lines? that shit's free/near free when you buy other services, you also get a free land phone with it.... Fox news live is free on youtube, other stuff you can just use a smart box..and subscribe via app through the box.
  21. Lys advocates pure capitalism, and supporting corporations, but balks at the thought of the same corporations outsourcing labour and production. It's only capitalistic that you utilize the most efficient means of production. Some(millions) people will be happy to earn 1/10th of US minimum wage to do more and for longer hours, they net corporations more profits, therefore, they move the jobs there, much to anger of our friend. TBH, Lys, you subscribe to your notions, very selectively. Regarding going out in style, that's your choice, I suppose you have the luxury of that choice. But not everyone may have that luxury. You gotta reflect that your path in life is not the only path and it's not the only right path, not saying it's wrong in anyway. Also we'd rather prefer you hang in here. I do, in general, strongly subscribe to your idea of only you can change your own circumstances, instead of believing the world's out to get you/need moar govt support. Simple principles to success in life: Hard Work and Knowledge (Can be in form of Specialised education, information, networking etc). But, Lys, thing is, some people dont have the environment to contemplate those principles due to shit cards they may have been dealt at the time of birth, it could be illness, broken households, psycho parents, crime, so much other stuff. Ye, it's not your fault, but I would'nt mind donating some of my income to help fix that shit, maybe it's super inefficient :govt: but if no one else is willing to do it, (corporations wont under pure capitalism) i'd go with inefficient social service vs zero social service.

  23. Simple common sense red lines should filter out people. But that's for ideal world. I mean, in an ideal world, you'd agree with me that Muslims are also the most persecuted group by external parties (and obviously internally too by extremists). Your criticism is more objective than your sympathies. , not an ideal world .
  24. Internet is actually a human right. you get tons of free shit from google, facebook etc, in exchange, if you 'allow' them, they track your history and serve you ads, you have a choice, give up privacy for free shit. ISPs already charge you an arm and leg, but hey, I guess if they'll give you a choice to use your history and give you lower rates, it's an option some people would choose and they should be allowed to choose to do that. But all in all, I do agree that there is no such thing as privacy on internet.
  25. $250 for that? wtf seriously? wow, is triple service such a novelty in biggest economy of the world?
