I think one of the major issues when talking about climate change is that it isn't a "single facet" issue. There are so many interlinked pieces and a majority of people who debate the topic will pick at one issue calling it a false flag and saying that it disproves climate issues as a whole. I have read every post up to this point and many have mentioned varying facets of climate change issues. A lot of things to consider... *One person was correct above - We may have higher emission standards, but we are way up there in overall usage per capita. * Ice being able to reflect solar radiation is another issue. Less ice = less ability to reflect. * Ice is also acting as a storage for other "green house gases" such as carbon dioxide and (more "dangerous) methane gas. Melting ice releases these gases which further elevates global temps. * Terminology is easy to manipulate. I've heard countless "jokes" regarding global warming/cooling and how one is causing the opposite effect. Media loves to point this out and use it as a basis to "debunk" climate issues. * Our oceans are dying and not just on small scale populations. Entire species of marine wildlife are migrating to areas they have never been recorded as living. There are many causes but the vast majority have boiled down to ocean temperatures. Yes, you should care about coral bleaching. Reefs are a great indicator of health in a marine biome. As of April more than 50% of the Great Barrier Reef was dead (bleached) or dying. * A warmer ocean means a more acidic ocean. An ocean that is more acidic kills wildlife which further increases acidity. Reproductive cycles are interrupted and the population continues to decline. * A 2 degree drop in the average global temperature (in C) was enough to put us into the "Little Ice Age". As we continue to climb on the global temp, all life is effected. Weather patterns changes. Entire ocean currents cease to exist (which is also tied into ice melting). Crops produce less. All of these things cause cascading issue in both the social and economic realms. These are just some of the points that need to be discussed and addressed both individually and collectively. If for nothing else, what does it hurt to initiate measures to combat waste of energy and emissions? Who gets hurt by making things better overall for everyone regardless of how one feels about climate change?

I have Mount and Blade: Warband but havent played any others at all.

I like the difficulty of BF3. Its not as much of arcade-ish to me. The sound and graphics quality of BF3 appeals to me more as well. I play on 360 though. I have just never been a fan of PS. I have played on them and dont really hate the systems, just dont prefer them by any means.

The wars, particularly Afghanistan is one that I believe in. I have personally made 2 trips to fight in that war. It is more than just hunting down terror groups to me. I gladly would have gone to war at the start but i was in middle school lol. Even now, with everything it costs, if you are out doing the grunt work you can see the times that it is worth it. Problem being, we didnt know it at the time, but seemingly have put ourselves into a situation in which we can not "win" 100%. Im not just against the people you have described. I have seen many that have the ability to work, but simply much rather live off of the government. They dont even attempt to actually look for a job. Just collect checks and food stamps instead. I am also against paying for other people to have services that I have to pay for myself. For example health care. I am by no means wealthy. I do however, have health care for my family that I have to pay for myself with both my time and actual cash. To enact a universal health care system that provides care to those who "cant afford" health care, is against what I think should be done. I work around health care and see what happens with increased costs. When costs of providing care go up, pay for the health care workers either decreases or they attempt to increase the cost of receiving that care. Going to med school isnt exactly all that rewarding after 12+ years of classes and internships when you graduate and are now in debt for the next 20+ years and dont have the pay that you should be getting. That is a very brief and somewhat scattered explanation... but I hope it makes sense Shep lol

I personally dislike Apple simply because of their ability to market very well to the not so informed or seemingly intelligent. Not called all Mac users stupid or anything, but I have ran into quite a few who simply buy because its the "cool thing to do". So expensive when there are much better products available at much cheaper prices. I was shocked this weekend when I found out that Iphone didnt have turn by turn directions. All I could say was... well... nothing. My jaw dropped. How do you have a smart phone that DOESNT have that feature? I bought my first smart phone in 2010 and it had turn by turn. So you mean to tell me that the almighty iphone didnt have this?!! Anyways, gg wp Apple marketing. Keep feeding off of the swag/yolo tards while you can.
