  2. True TNP has a dog
  3. False TNP has played Control
  4. And what a sad fucking thanksgiving this turned out to be in 2020. Anyway, have a good one!
  5. Don't worry. A couple doses of Hydroxychloroquine, and everyone will be back on their feet in no time!
  6. False TNP has a 23 and me test done
  7. True, and I'm really behind on my reading. TNP has a cat
  8. So, big news time: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54381848 If there is an upside to this panedmic, is that sometimes - just sometimes - things happen that resemble our concept of "poetic justice".
  9. You do understand that in a business portfolio you can make money on one or more assets while losing a much larger sum on others. And just because a business looks successful to a visitor, you haven’t seen the books with the overhead costs, interest/dividends that has to be paid for investors, etc. If you don’t care about all that, fine, just say that. But then don’t push the line how Trump is a super successful businessman, when in fact contradictory evidence is forthcoming. You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
  10. Meanwhile, the NYT got their hands on Trump’s tax returns. Turns out he lied about being a successful businessman. Who would have thought.
  11. True. It's not calligraphy though, lol. TNP has played Metro: Exodus
  12. Here's a good podcast with Sam Harris and John McWhorter where they discuss cultlike triaits of "anti racism". They totally nail how I feel about this issue. If you have the time, it's worth a listen. https://samharris.org/podcasts/217-new-religion-anti-racism/
  13. True, at least in theory. TNP never played baseball
  14. I was just about to point that out, lol.
  15. False, although it's on the list TNP has read Diplomacy by Henry Kissinger
  16. Exactly. Like to forest fires, hur hur
  17. True TNP has surfed or windsurfed
  18. My colleage just called that her test came back positive. She's been working from home since last Tuesday. She didn't have the best time of her life for a couple of days, but nothing too serious. Nobody else has shown any symptoms although my head did hurt for a day. I'm pretty sure I what I and several other colleagues had WAY BACK in December was in fact COVID and we still have the immunity from then.
  19. Glad you made a full recovery Lys, and thanks for sharing your experience!
  20. Oh well even without a vaccine we will develop heard mentality, or so I’m told :’D
  21. False TNP is an atheist
  22. You continue to link articles, but it doesn't seem like you're actually reading them. This is still a third stage trial, NOT the production phase for mass-distribution. Again, a direct quote from the piece: So as much as everybody wants this to go as quickly as possible, mass disdtribution of a vaccine will - by all rational estimates - fall to next year.
  23. If several = 4 then true TNP is Marxist
  24. No, although, credit where it’s due, the UAE and Israel establishing diplomatic relations is a big thing. Trump probably had little to do with it, it was going to happen anyway. As for Nobel Peace Prize nominations...Hitler was also nominated (although as a joke).
