ps: just checked out Ballad of Buster Scruggs ....a Coen brothers film! biiig fan of their movies..dont know how this movie passed under my radar. Will definitely be watching this. Some of the best shooting & story telling I've seen in years. Enjoy!

Seems like you're an action movie guy, so disregard if you're not into drama or offbeat comedy. It's a late addition to 2018, but I loved Netflix's The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Another quality movie also on Netflix is a scifi one called Other Life that was a great one for me.

Is that still a risk worth taking? there's always a risk, but you highly increase the risk of something bad happening to your family by opening your property and getting involvedI agree the risk would make me think twice. I am not afraid to die myself, but to allow that to happen to my little boy would make me think again. Hmm. I think this is a very useful conversation. I have thought often of my death. Not in a suicidal sense, but moreso that I have seen a fair amount of life in my 32 years, and I am not terribly impressed by the things the world can offer. Not so impressed that I would cling to it as tightly as some others. For me, my favorite pastime is to sit quietly and think. Whereas Hackslash has had a very negative experience with religion, I have had personal experiences of God that have persuaded me that he does exist. I have not dedicated my life to pursueding people that God is real, but I have dedicated my life to something based on that fact. My personal mission statement is to serve God by developing individuals to be effective, compassionate servant leaders. When I do die, I hope that in my wake I will leave a legacy of having invested in leaders who can serve rather than control the people they lead. Perhaps my funeral will be one more venue where that conversation can be had.

Im 3/4 of the way through season 2. I like it alot as well. The one major difference is in the soundtrack. Season one got me hooked on Daniel Spaleniak - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYLUH_LNyb0 love this track. I have been less impressed with the soundtrack on season two, but the writing and acting is fantastic.

Really? Because the majority of firearm owners prefer to handle things peacefully in court. We don't just gun down anyone who chooses to harass us. If we did, their wouldn't be anti 2nd Amendment politicians alive to date Now if there was a nation wide effort to confiscate firearms in the name of public safety, you can bet that every single militia and supporter of the 2nd Amendment would be prepared to resist. Unlike thugs who infiltrate protests to cause riots, we have training, equipment, and sound reasoning on our side. Could have killed him. 30% of Americans are black and Hispanic. They have a RIGHT to call law enforcement on the carpet if they don't feel they are being treated fairly, and to be heard out. We do not live in a police state, the citizens hold the power, and decide how they want to be policed. They have the RIGHT to hold politicians accountable to represent their interests in legislation. It's interesting to me, that many of my fellow republicans say on one side that they want to limit government and its influence on our day to day lives, except for the Police handling black and Hispanic suspects. In that case, all the power to the government, fire at will, no trial, or visible weapon necessary.

I just have to say, I am amazed by the widespread restraint being shown by the black community. There are examples of outbreaks of violence/ looting, but the vast majority has been peaceful protest. This crap would not be tolerated by the white gun community if they were the ones being targeted. In parts of the U.S. there are militias, which, if you threatened to take their guns, would go into full revolution mode, never mind executing people without drawn weapons.
