  1. Absolutely not... I am directing attention to the destructive consequence of socialist policy. Who will have to pay for that bailout when it eventually, and ultimately, becomes an issue? Yes... the American taxpayer must cover it. We have to pay for these insane policies. I don't want to know what is going to happen when the government runs out of other people's money to borrow.
  2. Diplomacy + Sanctions are really the only option, and a crappy option at that as it's done little good over the past almost 70 years with North Korea. Biden won't get us into another war because he doesn't have the heart to do it, nor does America need or want another war/nation building campaign because it's one more thing we have to pay for. Our debt level is already awful thanks to roughly 20 years of non stop war and now COVID tacked onto that. Biden will likely do nothing but utter rhetorical condemnation, North Korea will continue doing what they've always done, and China will use back channels to reel in North Korea whenever Kim starts acting too crazy. I had some hopes Trump was going to iron out some minor deal with Kim but neither side was willing to give up much of anything. Considering Trump was the only US President to actually attempt face to face meetings and was sincere on working a deal out, and he couldn't make it happen, so I don't have any hope Biden is capable of reaching a joint US-North Korea deal without making MAJOR US concessions.
  3. Conflicted is a game which consists of multiple decks, each deck containing 52 cards, and on each card is a question. The setting is in an environment where some catastrophic event has occurred. Could be nuclear war, World War III, horrible disease, economic collapse, but regardless of the scenario, no form of government really exists or if it does it is unable to help you. No calling 911, no cell phones, no internet. Its just yourself, maybe friends and family, and possibly a small group of people who can help you. Not necessarily Mad Max/Post Apocalyptic, but cohesive civilization with modern technology at our fingertips is essentially over. Every week I will post one of the cards (selected at random), and each participant writes a response to what they would do in that situation or how they might handle it. I will let the thread run for one week, and then post a new question. Post as much as you like after giving your response. Debating and analyzing is part of the game! I won't be playing as I am the one running the game. There are no right or wrong answers as the game is about hearing how people could navigate a stressful or perilous situation. Deck 2 - Survival Scenarios: Nine of Clubs

  5. All depends if the media turns against Cuomo and the Democrat voter base joins in too. Its plausible they might sacrifice him, he isn't too popular even among New York Democrats. But when your political party voter base outnumbers New York Republican voters over 2:1, you tend to easily win elections and shrug off most controversy. Cuomo might get hit with some ethics violations and low ball criminal charges, but I can promise you he will still win the next Governor Reelection in 2022.

  10. This is why ANTIFA and BLM don't come to the suburbs. They know they can get away with burning businesses in Democrat run cities. But I don't know a single person who would stand by and watch thugs torch their home and let their family burn to death.

  13. I'll post what I put up on Facebook. I'm at work so I kept it short and to the point. I've waited a couple hours to collect my thoughts in regards to the US Senate takeover. How does the entirety of the US populace come back from this? Is this event the catalyst for future hostilities? Our country has become so polorized in regards to extreme Left Wing/Right Wing politics, and a massive wedge between finding that common middle ground with our fellow Americans keeps increasing. America is at a crossroads. So where do we go from here?
  14. 69% in and each candidate currently has roughly 50% of the vote. Quite the nail biter. As long as Congress remains split we get 2 more years of gridlock. I personally like gridlock, only the most important issues get addressed because its the only time bipartisanship occurs. No need to worry about frivolous/feel good legislation that only punishes the middle class.

  18. ^ What Blade said. Should be good for 1080p gaming. You will want a better card if your going to do 2K or 4K. 24GB of RAM is kind of weird, is it 4 sticks of 6GB? Usually RAM is either 16GB or 32GB.

  23. Especially considering these masks aren't even N95, N100, R95, R100, P95, or P100. Almost everyone ran out of those in the opening weeks of Covid. I used to see people wearing N95 masks, and I've seen one random person wearing a P100 Respirator. The 3rd Party Cleaning Crew that my company brings in anytime an employee tests positive for Covid has some form of P mask (I believe its P100). These homemade/cloth/surgical masks are practically useless in protecting you from others, and only slightly better in regards to protecting others if you're sick. One of the survival blogs I read put an estimated effectiveness rating on those masks. Remember if a mask says 95 in stops 95% of particles. If it says 100 it blocks almost 100% of particles. N is for airborne particles (N95 is basically the bare minimum of effective protection), R is for airborne particles and partially oil resistant, and P is for airborne particles and strong oil resistance. So N95 is least effective against Covid while P100 is most effective against Covid. So its estimated that the homemade/cloth masks have a rating between 10-20 and low grade dust masks are maybe 30-40. Sure every little bit helps, but its barely anything.
