We let the masons live on because we were trying to kill the cop. If we killed the actual cop and only the role cop remained it would have been very hard to id us as scum. It was a gamble and it failed. But I liked the setup. Good game.

lol..interesting role claim by karl right after the cop has revealed himself. I guess we will find out soon about what he claims. Any case, I am not entirely convinced about AT being scum. We cannot afford a mislynch today and of the suspected people list..I can't identify a good lynch candidate. So I am going to go with the guy who has been completely useless to the town by refusing to reveal his night actions after role claiming. He also continues to vote randomly without helping the townies. So i very much doubt he will be a help to the townies to lynch a scum when he continues to ignore every logical conclusion. I think its about time he is removed from the game. Vote: Xarastier

I am not entirely convinced he is not scum and trying to save his hide. I would like him to prove his role as he said he would once Rafay posted. I most assuredly am not scum and I am willing to role claim if it seems like he will try to get me lynched this day. So the fact that he is trying to get me lynched or karl without presenting any evidence whatsoever makes me doubt his claim. With people like Xarastier in the townie group its not hard to get a bandwagon lynch. So I would ask other townies to hold their votes until a strong case can be made. If we mislynch today it will be 4 vs 3.

So apart from investigating Rafay, what are the others based on? You are basically echoing EM's list after taking out Rafay. I have been seeing that list from Day 1. What other new info do you have to put me and karl as the "prime" suspects?

Well. Things are really not looking good. I would assume there are 3 scum in the game based on the number of participants. So, right now we are at 6 townie to 3 scum advantage. If we mislynch again and scum kills at night it will be 4 vs 3. Way too close to my liking. So I think we should analyze things a bit further before bandwagoning on a d3mon lynch. He is on my suspicious characters list but I havent seen any type of concrete evidence against him.

Got confused with tracker and watcher. My example should be read as -- he could have claimed that he was watching killgor and he saw "xxx" perform an action on him.

He actually pretty clearly stated that he is an odd night watcher: I am saying you are on my suspicions list because of trying to lynch someone who I feel is a role claimed power townie. If he had false role claimed he would have claimed another false result on trying to get someone else lynched today. For example, when people were clamoring to him to post who he watched the night before he could have easily got a townie he wanted lynched by claiming that he watched "xxx" the night before and "xxx" performed an action on killgor. That would have instantly put "xxx" in the limelight as the possible killer. So if he was such a smart scum who false claimed he would have been able to do this and get another townie lynched today too. I dont think its in the town best interest to lynch him. Maybe if a case is made that he is not helping the townies and his random postings are hurting the town I may be persuaded to vote for him.

No. You made some logical points about Xarastier and I did not miss or ignore them. On any other player they would have made sense. But I dont think they apply to xarastier. Whatever he says makes no sense whatsoever. So if you are trying to pull logical deductions from his posts, its just like trying to make build a house with bricks made of chaos. My point is simple...there was no way he could have guessed and made the correct assumption about odd and even night characteristics. I havent seen it before in any of the games I have played here and if I am not mistaken Xarastier is new to Mafia as well. So even with the roles listed its a very small probability that he guessed randomly and made a correct false role claim. Firstly, I dont see why he should be false role claiming anyway on Day 1 and then claiming the correct characteristics tips the beams in his favor being a clueless townie. Your failure to see these points is making me view you as suspicious.

He says his role claim was a ruse. Then he tells Kaziocore (who had just complained about him role claiming so quick for no reason) "suppose I'm not telling the truth?" so as to throw us all off in the point of actually believing his role claim as true or false. The evidence suggests to me that his role claim was false. Again, with the fact that there are only 9 townies, it would not be hard for scum to go to the list of roles in this game and create a mixture of the odd-night even-night and a role and feel fairly secure in the fact that their role claim wont be discovered. This is also why I suspected EM and LK after their role claim because I wasn't sure that KevinH would but 2 masons into the game considering that there are only 9 townies and this isn't role madness so there are theoretically vanilla townies with no abilities. I haven't GMed before so I don't know how many vanilla townies there would be in a pool of 9 townies, but knowing this still leads me to doubt EM and LK a bit. Especially since they tried to rush a vote on D3mon with no evidence what-so-ever. You tell us to scum hunt but when I do that and post my opinion that I view your actions as suspicious you OMGUS me. Its exactly these kind of reactions that make me suspicious of you. I believe Xar's claim. Lets face it, there was no way he could have come up with a claim that not only says he is a watcher but an "odd" night watcher. Before killgor was killed we didnt even know if even and odd night characteristics were there! I dont see how you can still accuse him of being scum and when someone questions you about it, you call him scum. Vote on d3mon was a pressure vote to get him involved. After i voted for him he came back and said his absence is because of RL commitments. I dont think I will still be voting for him by the end of this day but i dont think he is necessarily cleared from being scum. Just think there are better candidates to lynch. Xarastier has a frustrating habbit of disappearing after making wild claims and theories. This is nothing new. He got lynched pretty early last game because of this. He was not scum. I dont see why we should lynch a pretty sure townie just because he is acting the way he is. Its frustrating yes, but its not worth the townies losing lynch over.

Kazio's analysis of karl's posting is interesting. I am interested in hearing karl's response to that accusation. Firstly Rafay - I havent actually seen him make insightful logical deductions at scum hunting at previous games. Normally he is OMGUS on everyone and plays very defensively. So I am not actually surprised at his posts in this game. Thats how he plays and unfortunately its impossible to tell whether he is acting that way because he is scum or he is a townie. Now you. It is interesting that you continue pushing the agenda that Xara may be false role claiming. I voted you for that on Day 1 but withdrew after your reaction. However, I am having 2nd thoughts. You may just be really annoyed with Xars posting against you and you just didnt want to play the game anymore. You voting for yourself would have shot the scum party in the leg but maybe you just didnt care anymore. So just your reaction to Xar's posting does not automatically freeze you as a townie I feel. Now, if we ignore that phase and look at your posting. You continue to campaign for a Xara lynching (I dont see where he said that he lied about his role claim by the way) and you started the day of by saying Xara may be false claiming. Also your short list of possible scum is interesting. You picked Rafay and Karl against whom others have already posted allegations. You have Xara on the list of course. And now you have put me in your list because I said you were on my suspect's list. It seems lo me like you are keeping your options open on who to vote for depending on which scum allegation gets momentum from the townies. and this is just trying too hard...

I dont believe xarastier has the ability to pull off an elaborate hoax of role claiming to be a townie power role while being a scum. So he is a townie. I also dont believe LK and EM would have role claimed to be masons if they were scum. So we have 3 townies. Of the remaining the following are looking suspicious to me: d3mon - made an early vote on Kazio and then lying low CoD - for his continued insistence on lynching a townie role alternate_tree - continues his strategy of lying low and not really contributing to the scum hunting (admits he is waiting for others to make a move, typical scum strategy) Others I am still undecided on. kazio looks townie but we have to remember he has loads of experience with this game and knows exactly how to act if he were scum. So my vote for now: Lynch: d3mon If he comes by and explains his reasoning for his vote on Kazio I may reconsider the vote.

Since you have already role-claimed, there is no point in hiding what your results were. If you get killed tonight, no one will get the info you gathered. So it is better for the town if you reveal your results instead of not doing so. Whats your reason for suspecting EM? Did it have something to do with your investigations at night?

Interesting move in hitting killgor instead of one of the role claimed townies. This does throw suspicion on CoD. This probably was why they went for him instead or EM, LK or Xarastier. We should go for a lynch today. We can work off EM's list (minus me ) but I would still like to hear more on why these guys were put on the suspect list:

Unvote Well Day 1 has been interesting. 3 role claims already. I dont see why we should go for a lynch now. I am not convinced d3mon is scum. And if LK and EM are telling the truth, it does not really help lynching them to find out if they really were telling the truth or not. Lets go to night phase and let the power townies do their jobs. Vote: No Lynch
