  1. Yeah Imran I agree, if Montosh doesn't come back and there is no replacement and more votes are needed before the day ends I will gladly throw in my vote. I just would of hoped something would of been done about this.
  2. Honestly I'd rather see Montosh be replaced or return back to the game, but sounds like it's a easy vote to some people without any retaliation from the accused. Regardless it's not like we are losing much from him being lynched unless we find out he has an ability that could of helped the game or it could be pure luck that he turns out scum.
  3. @Preson - My thoughts on the insta no lynch is a page or so back. Also regardless of whether Lyner and EM claim a joke vote, I can't fully believe them for the basis that they both support day 1 lynches and as Lyner said himself he likes playing out the day. I just think that the joke should of ended at 4 or at most 5 votes in a few hours. But yeah I'm sick of saying this all the time, it's literally the only thing that I have going in terms so far of suspicion from me. To turn a new page, rather than repeating myself about Lyner and EM and no lynching. The town should be having a look at people who aren't contributing now. Even though votes are on me and Preston regardless of whether either of us are scum, I don't see what else the town would have left going for them if communications were to slow and votes thrown out with a one or two sentence explanation and no follow up after, unlike what we have attempted to do and by what has been shown today. Those that sit around on their thumbs waiting for the day to end are the real killers of the town, they make a few contributions which is a bit of finger pointing, but nothing to bring attention to themselves or post every now and then with little substance so they don't become people like Montosh which has a bit of attention brought to himself however not as much as it should be. I'll let you think of who they could be. But if EM and TBR want to have a legitimate attempt at trying to prove that I'm scum, I can only try and argue my case. It isn't easy to change people's minds when they are 'convinced'. Especially when we have hardly anything to go off on day 1.
  4. Plot twist - it's because I'm town! Scary I know.
  5. Yep exactly what d3mon has said. If this no lynch vote were to be passed - now let's remember that we were one vote away for ending the day merely 12 hours into the game - 12 hours and day 1 was almost over. The scum would love nothing more than a day that has passed with absolutely no discussion, because there would be nothing to go off if someone from the town were to die. The true icing on the cake is that those last couple of people that wanted this day over and done with (obvious sign that they were the 5th and 6th votes which came through in less than an hour and almost finishing the day) are people who usually don't want this day to end, now that could just be a joke but I'm not laughing however I do appreciate it has given us something to talk about. And as I stated before whether you believe in no lynch or not, you are on the wrong side of the argument if you seriously think that a day 1 no lynch within 12 hours of the day starting is a favourable outcome for the town.
  6. And I would also like to add that while yes, those who participate regularly in the thread and show themselves to be a formidable fighter and a threat to the scum will paint large targets on their backs, it is up to the people to question the critics of the victim. This is a responsibility people have to burden when accusing people, and one you expect to get if you are wrong.
  7. @TBR - I think the big issue with the previous votes on no lynch is the fact that two people who usually do not advocate no lynch voting themselves almost ended the day with zero discussion by no lynching, with only one vote left to end it. Also those who hide in the shadows more often than not end up being suspected, though sometimes it takes people some time to realise this. That's why I mentioned the people who are inactive should be suspected also like Montosh. Lyner was both inactive and was the last vote before someone could hammer the no lynch which is why he is my most suspected person. I would point out that I am more often than not an advocate of no lynch, but I truly believe a no lynch with no discussion prior is complete stupidity and hinder's the town's most valuable asset which is day time. They also have one thing we don't and that is they know who is scum and who isn't. Also I believe that passing a no lynch vote straight off the bat is most definitely in the scum's favour, while they aren't able to help kill someone on day 1 (which usually ends up being an innocent), they will most likely succeed in their night kill and have one less person who can suspect them. Not to mention we would have to go through the process we are doing right now with one less innocent person, rather than already having 5 pages worth of statements. So this mean it slows the evidence people have been building up against each other, and while this will most likely lead to the lynching of innocents, this is the town's only way of killing scum (unless we have a vig or someone, and then the decision is in their hands rather than a collective vote). Also I would to add those people who are 'under the radar' a day or two after the 6 no lynch votes such as Montosh and Imran would never of been under scrutiny for inactivity because the day would of ended abruptly, thus making it impossible to pin inactivity on either one of them and not forcing them to come out and prove they aren't inactive (which is in no way a bad thing) Remember the longer the day lasts the easier it becomes to spot those who do not wish to participate and the more likely they will be pinned for trying to hide away from the conversation. And this is why a no lynch immediately would not hinder the scum at all, except for the fact that there are people here who know that although their intentions are innocent there is always going to be a degree of suspicion placed towards individuals such as EM and Lyner.
  8. Kevin should prod Montosh, he is obviously active but not caring to participate in the thread. Lyner hasn't logged on since his last post so who knows where he is.
  9. I won't deny that Preston. I usually place more pressure on my suspicions later on in the game, rather than starting something from virtually nothing on day 1 other than how you interpret other's actions. But then again the only game where I've been innocent was a day 1 night kill
  10. Alright I will vote Vote: Lyner For being the most suspicious in my eyes due to an almost fatal blow to the day with a no lynch vote, and for not coming back since to contribute or explain his actions (which for me a 'fun' vote being the 6th no lynch vote is not good enough for me, even more so than EM) . Neither of these things benefits our town at. For now my vote will be for him while I wait for his take on this.
  11. To respond to Preston: I have never really been one to throw out votes, or attempt to start a train unless I have a bit of a belief for someone to be scum. EM has no substance for his accusation of me, he attacks the words I have chosen and responds to my criticism of his strategy (which I haven't seen before) with a vote against me. But that is how some people choose their votes. I suspect Lyner more over EM because he voted after him. I am not saying that we shouldn't no lynch, however when you have people straight off the bat voting no lynch less than a day the game starts the people who were voting at the end, knowing full well that it can lead to a very quick day should be given at least a bit of suspicion. I don't see that much of an issue of TPB's no lynch vote as he said he is new and I pretty much did this on my first game, and d3mon retracted his vote to prevent a no lynch. So yes I believe that EM and Lyner's actions were not of interest to the town and they know it very well, that's why they should be looked at with some suspicion. And I do also think that people who do not contribute, scum or not, are of no use to us and should be suspected as well. Which are in this case Imran and Montosh.
  12. Sorry for the third post. I had to mention d3mon for inactivity as well, in case anyone thought I was trying to forget people.
  13. To add to the top quote, it just seemed like this whole no lynch honor for Kevin thing should of been more easier on the mass no lynches at the break of dawn.
  14. I still don't think this is 100% the case, and if we are to look at the last no lynches to be voted it is you and Lyner. Or he could be doing what he always does and sparks a reaction to hopefully nail a goblin on the head. The problem is however is that suspicion should be more targeted towards people who are inactive and making no contribution and letting the day continue to slide, while people are targeting others but themselves. This is true, it is feeling weird to keep referencing 'the goblins'. I just wanted to add some flavour into the game. If it bothers you I can stop Now that a bit of the dust has settled I will say who I think should be looked at closely: - Imran and Montosh because they've said virtually nothing all game except to vote once - Lyner over EM for the no lynching, purely because he voted very soon after EM and it was almost the killing blow to the day If Lyner comes and explains why and I can concede for now, then I will be waiting for Imran and Montosh to actually contribute.
  15. Kaz makes a good point. I don't think I've had a game where Mango ever advocated a no lynch strategy, he normally would make an aggressive move pretty early on to someone. But I haven't seen EM play as a scum so I'm unsure. As long as the day continues we will soon spot out the lone goblins waiting for the day to end, and appearing inactive.
  16. What Preston said has described pretty well the way I feel. I am usually one to join a no lynch train if that's what people want however the quicker the day goes the easier it is for the goblins, as nothing progressive happened on the day to bring any suspicion to anyone. And the goblins know this. It just gives them a free kill and day 2 will be what we should of already had a stab at on day 1.
  17. It appears we are not alone, stay vigilant and true to your weapons my brothers. The horizons will always have my keen eye as long as I live.
