  1. I promise you that I am a Town Miller and trying to play this as straight up as possible.
  2. Here are the facts: I am a Town Miller.I was given a restriction that prevented me from outright role claiming on day 1 so I hinted at my role as best as I could so that the town would know what to expect from me. If I was scum I would most likely not have had a restriction like that and would have just openly role claimed if that was my plan. Being coy about my role wouldn't do a damn thing for me if I was scum. All it would have done is draw more attention to me.I received a note at night that read "Torres is a member of the town". I shared that information today. If you're skeptical about my role claim, that's fine. But then at the very least you need to take into consideration the incredible amount of risk I am assuming by going about any of this the way that I have. -If I wasn't what I say I am I'd have no idea if another Miller actually existed who could counterclaim me. I suppose there could be multiple millers in a game but I've never seen it at least. -I'd have no idea if a role cop exists that can discredit me. -I was coy about my role on day 1 which of course draws more attention to me and if I was scum I would be opening myself up to any possible tracker/watcher roles on any given day moving forward so if I were to outlive any other scum eventually I could be caught committing kills. -I gave you information to confirm a townie that nearly always looks like scum at some point in any given game and would have probably resulted in a free kill for the scum on a later day if I didn't say anything. Lynch me if you feel that you need to in order to confirm what I'm saying is true because I'm basically just a named townie at this point anyway but it will be a whole lot of wasted effort (and a wasted day) on the town's part and I won't be around to help find the actual scum later in the game. I'd obviously prefer that you didn't waste your time though because everything I've said is true.
  3. The only thing he's right about is that I would investigate as "guilty" to a Cop because that's what a Miller does.. Otherwise he couldn't be more wrong about me. And what does you voting for Lyner have to do with me? You voted for him before me.. We were both wrong but I don't see how you voting for Lyner reflects poorly on me.
  4. /facepalm I am a MILLER. Of course I investigated as guilty.
  5. A couple things: 1) If Torres and I were both scum it’s an incredibly risky gambit for me to make. For starters, I have no idea if a role cop exists in this game and therefore basically role claiming on day 1 (or at least the start of day 2) opens me up for an entire game’s worth of possible power roles keeping an eye on me who could discredit me. Secondly, I would basically be outing Torres as well If/when I would get lynched or killed and flip scum. That would be theoretically 2/3rds of the scum team outed at the start of day 2. Not exactly a great gamble on my part. 2) If I was scum and Torres wasn’t scum, either I lied completely about Torres sharing his alignment with me last night in which case he can publicly discredit me at any time, or he believed I am town based off of my role and did in fact share his role with me believing that I could basically clear two people as town (which I have done as far as I’m concerned). If I was scum, I definitely wouldn’t be clearing a townie first thing on day 2 so that I now have a confirmed townie to contend with as long as he’s alive. No offense to Torres but when you factor in who I am helping confirm it makes even less sense. Torres’ play style almost always puts him in the spotlight and up for a lynch at some point. Why would I waste the opportunity for the town to waste a day on him? Hint: I wouldn’t. What I think actually happened: Torres picked up on the fact that I’d be claiming to be a Town Miller. He was aware that a Miller is almost certainly a townie. He knew that his role (Friendly Neighbor) had an opportunity to share his towniness with me so that I could basically confirm him as town today too and all of a sudden there are now two confirmed townies. I have to admit, when I received the message at night and figured out what Torres’ role must be I was impressed by his heads up play on that one. I don’t blame anyone for being skeptical about my role. That’s your job in this game. Just realize the incredible amount of risk I’d be taking if I was actually scum here. The odds wouldn’t be in my favor.
  6. And yes, I did not fully role claim yesterday because I had a modifier that prevented me from role claiming on day 1.
  7. As I so subtly hinted yesterday: I am Hizdahr Zo Loraq, Husband to Daenerys Targaryen, a Town Miller. Also, I received a note in secret at night that said “Torres is a Member of the Town”. Based off of the available roles I am assuming Torres is a Friendly Neighbor (or maybe Fruit Vendor?) and chose me to share his alignment with since it was highly likely that I would be a Town Miller. In any case, Torres is most likely town as well. I’m not sure a modifier would affect that.
  8. Interesting revelations to begin the day.. Assuming that this is in fact true, +1 Town Points for the following people: and +1 Town Point for Ferastical since Torres voted for Ferastical. The remaining people who were not voting for Torres (or being voted on by Torres) at the end of the day were: Captainjf - Voted for Ferastical with Torres. Lord MK - Voted for a non-known townie Robert. Wolfpacks - Voted for a non-known townie Robert. Ferastical - Voted no lynch. Rafay - Didn't vote. Finster - Didn't vote. Has claimed N2 Alignment Cop. Probably town but could still be scum. Tony - Didn't vote. @Ferastical - Why did you decide to vote no lynch? @Rafay @Finster @Tony - Why didn't you vote? Also, please don't end the day this early.
  9. The fact that I haven’t come right out and “officially” role claimed should be even more of a reason for you to believe me. Why would I be so coy like this unless I really am what I am and have a modifier preventing me from role claiming on day 1? If I was scum and wanted to make a gambit like this on day 1, I’d likely not have such a modifier preventing me from officially claiming and I would have just fully claimed already and taken my shot. The fact that I am not fully able to claim should tell you that the powers that be knew the optimal strategy for such a role and wanted to see what would happen when that strategy couldn’t be utilized.
  10. Potentially outing myself on day 1 as scum wouldn’t exactly be a great strategy when I have no way of knowing whether or not a role cop exists. I’d rather we not allow a townie to go to trial by combat when we could look for an actual scum instead.
  11. No it isn’t. Let’s leave that out of here please.
  12. The main job of role cops in role madness games is to find people with roles that can only be town or scum, since scum will likely have roles too, right? In your case it sounds like they'd basically be getting a twofer (yes it's a real word, sort of lol) because either they'll confirm what's essentially a guaranteed town role or they'll catch a scum lying on D2, both of which help our cause.Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for being confirmed as town lol. Even if a role cop checks me though and validates my claim (which they would) you wouldn’t expect them to out themself right away tomorrow just to confirm my basically named townie role right?
  13. I’m not scum and I’d much rather be completely transparent about my role on day 1 but since I’m not allowed to this is as clear as I can be right now. Interesting that you respond with a vote on me right away though, Kevin. I’ve seen you play this role before so I know you would be doing the exact same thing if you had the role. FOS Kevin
  14. You are most likely correct. A role cop investigation would be wasted on me since there will obviously be better people to check but if you all need it to confirm my claim then so be it.
  15. I am not a jester. I am simply restricted from role claiming on day 1. Think about what role makes sense to role claim on day 1 and you might figure out what I am. I just wanted to let everyone know that I would role claim today if it was an option.
  16. Also, let this serve as notice that I will be role claiming first thing tomorrow morning (if I survive the night) because I can’t do so today.
  17. THEN HE UNVOTED HERE: https://ironcentral.org/community/topic/65177-ba-11-a-dance-with-dragons/?p=1026184I’m aware. It’s day 1 so it could simply be nothing. I was just noting that it was kind of an odd thing to do.
  18. Vote: Lyner For not posting for days and then showing up to surpass Tony’s post count and then vote for him.
  19. 13 players in the game so we're probably looking at 3 scum. @Brewers - You specifically note that various modifiers may be in play. Does that include possible sanities or no?
  20. Torres looks like the best option to me at the moment. However, his actions thus far don't seem out of the ordinary for how he usually plays either.. Unless a better argument is presented: Vote: Torres
  21. That’s what I got out of it.
  22. Tracker is listed twice.
  23. I have no strong feeling either way unfortunately about Kevin or Torres. Here’s what I do know: -Both Torres and Kevin have fully claimed as VT’s. -Starting a wagon against anyone else is highly unlikely and would be unwise. Kevin can be more manipulative than Torres but Torres hasn’t been particularly helpful either. Barring any new information I will vote for either Torres or Kevin before deadline.
  24. I work and deal in theory's TW. If I don't have theory's, something may be wrong with me. do these theories eventually include you actually reading the roles that are available or are u just gonna wing it? Maybe. Course if you want to get mad about it, I might decide to frustrate you more by not reading it. You realize you just sound salty. I don't understand this. It's fine that you deal in theories and all, but this is a game where all roles are known. Why are you theorizing about the possibility of roles that are guaranteed to not be present here?
  25. Why join in the first place?
