Okay you guys in Canada... listen up. The minimum wage jobs you are talking about are not long term employment for anyone. You work your way out, or work your way up. I have not had a minimum wage gig since I was 19. How about you? The "protests" you hear about are not protested by the people working the jobs. It's the SEIU that are paying their members to show up with signs and rant. The unions are getting killed and need a new source of dues to stuff their pockets with. So they exploit the weakest among us to further their own exsistance. They are the lowest scum you can scrape off the dumpster floor... true parasites.

OMG! Im laughing so hard my stomach hurts... I watched it several times over to see what I could catch. The girls that were carrying the baby in a car seat were the ones that saved Tyreese from certain death. After that they turned around and went back as Tyreese was yelling at them that they were going the wrong way. I think the kids have the baby. It's just going to be chaotic trying to get the group back together. The last time they had to split up Andrea ended up with Michonne so it may take time... who knows?

If any of you watch Bill O'Reilly on Fox News... there is a segment called "Watter's World" with Jesse Watters. Tonight's show Jesse was in Canada interviewing people about the healthcare system there. I think it would be harder to find someone that doesn't watch The Walking Dead than to ask if anyone else watches the show. It's a staple on our DVR and we never miss an episode. A co-worker/friend of my wife told her about how great the show is and she promptly came home and made me start watching. We started midway through the first season using On Demand to get caught up, and hooked ever since. I had a hard time thinking a never ending zombie movie could be any good. But the more I watched it, the more I see that the zombies are only a side show... a constant threat that must always be checked. The show is about survival and testing the limits of humanity to stay alive. It's a brilliant plot and the most utterly violent show I have ever seen on TV. As for the mid-season finale... when I saw Hershel smile... I knew he was a goner. It was just set up that way. The little girl going down at the red dirt pile, I did not expect. I totally expected Carol to come in and save lives... never happened. I knew Michonne would get the Guvnah... just thought she would say, "I told you I'd kill you"... just to rub it in. I wonder how many of the new group will end up as new regulars. And I knew they had to lose the prison sometime... have to keep the show moving or it will get redundant. Edit: I forgot to say what I will do until February. In January I will be checking out a couple new shows. Black Sails on Starz and True Detective on HBO... also another staple is Justified on FX. The Following will coming back too but I'm confused on how they will continue that show and hold my attention.

I don't think my opinion will be very popular. This is one more reason athletics should be separated from higher learning. The NFL should set up their own "schools" to train these people right out of high school. There is far too much money and corruption in our Universities because of this practice. And none of it helps our kids build a future or lowers the cost of their tuitions. Just my opinion... I could be wrong.

Red state Democrats will all be crushed. Alaska Arkansas Louisiana Montana North Carolina South Dakota West Virginia That alone will flip the Senate... there will be no saving these. They all voted for this law and their states are solidly opposed. Others are seriously in danger as well. Like Colorado, New Hampshire, and Minnesota where that moron Franken stole the seat. The Christie thing was him doing his job for New Jersey. That storm ravaged the coast and he needed all the help he could get. Romney and McCain were butchered by the far right and still got the nomination... as will Chris Christie. The difference will be in Chris himself... he doesn't allow anyone to define him the way they did with John and Mitt. McCain was labeled the old guy and Romney was labeled the rich guy you love to hate. Christie will be liked for his individualism, personality, and "don't fuck with me... or my country" attitude.

A Liberal and a Conservative can actually agree on something. 100% of this post is 100% accurate. Obamacare was never designed to improve our health insurance system. It was designed to destroy the employer provided health insurance system that most of us have, and kick everyone onto a government controlled exchange. Why did they delay the employer mandate until after the mid-term elections? The more of this pathetic law that actually gets implemented, the more people hate it. Most of us have employers that pay for most of the cost of our insurance. A year from now, most of that will all end and an estimated 80 million of us will be forced to swallow the government plan... and pay the entire cost. That whole "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, period", was a gigantic LIE. The intent has always been single payer. To get there they had to make the insurance we have, undesirable. Then everybody would cry for Government help. One problem they never counted on... Republicans took control of the House in 2010 and they have been playing goalie to protect their evil plan ever since. Mid-term 2014 they lose the Senate and Obama is left alone to play goalie alone with his veto. I think hatred will be so strong, that Congress will over-ride his veto. Then the healing can begin with common sense solutions. I'm thinking Chris Christie in 2016. He has proven his ability to work with the entire country... plus I love his Jersey style! Edit: I spelled Christie's name wrong... sacrilege!

Universal health care works very well... In Canada You almost had it right but you had to leave out a couple periods... I fixed it for you. We have about 310 million people here. The problems you have will be mutiplied many millions of times here. What you beleive works well on paper never takes into consideration the human condition. A socialist program will always fail because people do whatever fits best with their life... not what someone thinks they will do. You take care with that system you have... when you're life depends on it, you will hope the good old USA is still there for you.

If they got what they wanted our "healthcare" would be broken down into 3 forms of treatment. 1) Band-Aids 2) Pain Killers 3) Cremation It would be your choice because that's all that could be afforded. Doctors will never work for Government slave wages. We protested hard enough to force them to fast pass an incomplete Senate Bill that we call Obamacare. It's intended to melt down the Medical Insurance industry and force the single payer option... which will turn into the above scenario. Be smart and do not even attempt to try to get involved in this on any level. I feel so bad for those that really need the care right now. They will pay the price until we can get this all killed. If you have a problem with uninsured people you need to work on them... not destroy it for everyone else.

Wow MastersonX, Slow down son... you just stomped on the first two Constitution amendments of the Bill of Rights. Lobbyists are the paid representatives of so-called "special intrests". A special intrest is anything you want it to be. It can be Abortion, Pharmaceuticals, Immigration, Trial Lawyers, Environmentalists, Shrimp Breeders, Nudist Colonists, or anything else you can think of. They are all special intrests and those are considered dirty words when they are against your agenda. The right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances is in the 1st Amendment of the Constitution. The NRA is a gun club. A very big gun club... and they all vote. One very big issue with the NRA is the protection of the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution that is the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. So the things you believe are the evil elements of the woes of the nation are very much protected functions of our society. If you don't like these amendments... you need to get yourself a lobbyist in Washington to change that Constitution. Good Luck with that. Edit: Also if you're worried about dirt-bag Congressmen who take favors from Lobbyists in exchange for their votes... put them in prison or simply vote their butts out of office if you don't like them.
