Trouble In Terror Town - GAME OVER!

The terrorist leaned on his rifle and sighed, looking down into the bleak wilderness below him. He looked down near the gate and so no movement, and looked around, trying to stay alert. He hated sentry duty.

The camp was situated near the top of a snowy mountain near Russia. That was all he knew. He was brought to the camp blindfold to ensure secrecy whilst he was trained and indoctrinated. Now, he was firmly loyal to the cause, but couldn't help getting irritated at having sentry duty - the camp position was chosen specifically to ward off any uninvited visitors. Barely anyone had ever climbed this mountain.

Some new initiates had been brought to the camp yesterday. It was rare, having more than one, but he supposed wherever anyone could be found, they were brought in regardless of number.

He turned around and looked back into the camp, thinking slowly to himself. The surroundings of the camp had always been silent, no sign of any activity at all. So why DID sentry duty exist?

"Damn." He looked up to see that it had started to snow softly. He hated the snow, after spending months in it, it started to grate at you - and having to spend your nights curled up trying to get warm didn't help either. He hoped it wouldn't be a blizzard.

Yet, despite his hopes, the snow picked up rapidly. He started to have to strain to see. The terrorist turned around quickly has he heard footsteps in the snow. There was nothing there. That was strange.

He let out barely a cry as someone snuck up behind him, grabbed him by the neck and drew a knife swiftly across it. Someone was in the camp who shouldn't.

Edit by way of post....or at least was inactive?

Are you willing to risk losing a townie to a night kill to lynch someone who is inactive?

It's all about risk and now the inactivity is no longer a factor.

Falzis (2): Theophilos, KevinH

The old Theophilos was voting to lynch the new Theophilos and then got night-killed.

I think the new Theophilos killed the old Theophilos.

This sort of reminds me of the plot of Lost.

Unvote: Falzis

Vote: Theophilos

If he was scum, his replacement is scum.

What kind of backward logic is that?

You wanted us to vote for the inactive (ie. Falzis) so we wouldn't lose any of the active players.

Now you want to lynch an active replacement?

Vote: KevinH

I'm with CD insofar as I'm going to point a FOS at KevinH.

Two theories:

  • Theophilos was voting for Falzis so that would put some suspicion on him (Falzis) if he were active.
  • Kaziocore and CanucksDynasty wanted Theophilos dead so when the lynch didn't succed, they night-killed him.

What kind of backward logic is that?

Just because he was inactive, that doesn't mean he wasn't scum. I think everyone has an equal chance of being scum.

I'm active, why vote for me? :)

I'm with CD insofar as I'm going to point a FOS at KevinH.

FOS: AKCPLUTO

I don't know but you should be giving a reason why you are for CD

because it just looks like you're siding with someone just for the

sake of siding with someone.

I don't see anything wrong with KevinH's reason to vote him...

Right now on top of my more likely to be scum list is Nerau (looks like a lurker) so...

Vote: Nerau

Until no one looks more suspicious than him, my vote will stay on him until the end of the day.

I hope this will pressure him to post more...

VOTE COUNT

Theophilos II (1): KevinH

KevinH (1): CanucksDynasty

Nerau (1): Kaziocore

Not Voting (5): Nerau, Windblade, TheoII, AKCPLUTO, Narsis

Deadline is a WEEK FROM TODAY!

I suggest you pick up the activity if you don't want another No-Lynch today.

FOS: AKCPLUTO

Kaziocore, I haven't sided with CD per se. I have am in mere agreement with CD insofar as we are both suspicious of KevinH at this point. Now, CD voted for Kevin, and I merely fingered him. There is an obvious difference.

I make something clear: at this point, I am not willing to vote for anyone yet. I am simply not convinced of anything and my confidence in my "gut instinct" is quite low right now.

I need more data to work with. Get posting, guys, please.

Hm, having gone over everything ...

I find KevinH the most suspicious so far. He's just a tad to quick with that let's kill someone who can't even defend himself.

Also a reminder Theo I always voted for Falzis on day 1, if Falzis played. So anything beyond that is either speculation or scum shifting blame on a townie, in this case Theo II :P

FOS KevinH

Let's just lynch Falzis, then no replacement is needed.

I could start a big WIFOM argument here, but I won't.

Falzis was worth my vote yesterday, I'll keep it there for now.

Vote: Falzis

It's not paranoia when they really are out to get you.

An inactive scum is still scum and is deserving of a lynch. Theophilos voted for Falzis and got killed. It could be a setup by the scum, but they could think that it's safer to kill because nobody would believe that they would be so obvious.

OK...3 strikes against KevinH here.

1. He voted for Falzis on D1. His normal stance is usually no-lynch...so why has it changed?

2. He wanted to lynch Falzis so we wouldn't have to find a replacement. But now he wants to lynch the replacement player?

3. He is suggesting that Falzis was an inactive scum. Why couldn't he be an inactive townie instead? And he is trying to give us the reason of a "set-up" in order to justify his vote.

All I'm going to say is that I'm tempted to vote for Kevin right now!

Vote: KevinH

at least until i hear his defense...

Now I'm convinced after some meditation, so to speak, about Kevin's questionable state here.

So, I'm with Narsis. Vote: KevinH until we hear his defense.

Nerau, Windblade, and whoever's not voting yet: what say ye?

OK...3 strikes against KevinH here.

1. He voted for Falzis on D1. His normal stance is usually no-lynch...so why has it changed?

There's a 50% chance that there is not a cop, so it's tough to play "follow the cop".

2. He wanted to lynch Falzis so we wouldn't have to find a replacement. But now he wants to lynch the replacement player?

Indeed, he could have been an inactive townie. The same probabilities apply whether a player is inactive or not.

Since so many of you don't like my current vote ...

Unvote.

There are 3 votes on KevinH right now.

So...no quick lynches people.

@KevinH - your unvoting now is quite meaningless.

AKC can you expand on the meditation part ...

I'll agree with CD on the fact that KevinH's unvote means nothing atm though.

Also guys, I'll keep my posts as short as possible as I managed to destroy my lappy this morning and R using my phone until mon/tue >.<

Theo, I meant I had put some thought into it.

Indeed, I agree that Kevin's unvote does not mean anything right now.

@KevinH - your unvoting now is quite meaningless.

Maybe.

It's an indication that I'm willing to listen to others and that if you all really want Theophilos alive, then I can go along with that.

If I get lynched and when I am shown to be townie, look to the weak arguments that were used in support of the votes on me.

I have one question to KevinH,

I don't really follow this. Can you explain further?

And I apologize for being a bit inactive, I'm currently moving (:D) so everything is chaotic.

I have one question to KevinH,

I don't really follow this. Can you explain further?

Typically on the first day, nobody knows anything so any lynch is purely random. Chances are that a townie will be lynched and then the town will be worse off, so I usually vote for a no-lynch and give the cop a chance to investigate the first night.

However in this game we were told:

This game is an F11 setup, meaning that one of the following setups will be used - you don't know which one.

1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Sane Cop, 1 Doctor, 5 Townies

2 Mafia Goons, 1 Sane Cop, 6 Townies

2 Mafia Goons, 1 Doctor, 6 Townies

1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 7 Townies

Only 2 of the 4 possibilities have a cop, which is why I said there is a 50% chance that there is not a cop. If there is not a cop, we can use his investigations to guide the townie lynches.

Other than me, who is currently suspicious of Nerau?

Everyone is equally suspicious, but maybe I can make it interesting ...

interesting meaning try and put pressure on someone else

besides lurking what case do you have against me, which i know i need not to do

KevinH is justify in his earlier case b/c what evidence there is very limited

my intentions our pure and noble but my luck is not that way
