An evil overlord, an out of the way town, a strange death, and a suppressed power...all the makings of a good story. Unfortunately, this isn't that town, nor are you those lucky few to go on the world saving adventure. But that doesn't mean that a story of some note isn't about to take place...

 

 

Hey uh...sorry i'm a little late getting this all out. I was really really really busy yesterday. I'll get everything together and throw it all out like now.

 

 

The Players

 

1. Theophilos, rich merchant, inheritor of a vast information ring, and Deputy, was imprisoned and sentenced to beheading Day 2.

2. KevinH, wealthy merchant, head of a vast information ring, and Cop, was found cut and poisoned during Night 1.

3. AKCPluto, wealthy merchant, evil and cunning murderer, and member of the "Mafia", was stabbed to death Day 1.

4. Kaziocore, wealthy merchant and Townie, lynched Day 3.

5. CanucksDynasty, wealthy merchant and member of the "Mafia", survives to end-game.

6. Electric Mango, wealthy merchant and Townie, killed by CD in end-game.

7. Martino, wealthy merchant and Townie, was stabbed to death Night 2.

Anyway between AKCPluto and Martino, I would really choose AKCPluto instead given the lack of information

because Martino is more experienced, I think, than him.

Never thought I would see CD dropping the hammer vote. AKCPluto would have been lynched anyway since he was the first to reach 3 votes. I like CD's call, it gets the game moving quickly and it looks good for CD in my eyes. Why drop the hammer when he could have just sat back in the shadows. Well played good sir.

You should know by now...I always pick a side (whether right or wrong).

Not really I think we both pointed to problematic nature of the pinky pointing ... I'd rather consider the 4th vote on AKC Pluto since it was "overkill", is CD doing more than just picking sides? Perhaps hiding the fact he's mafia?

On the other hand, I wonder why he didn't just say he voted for me in order to try and save his own skin. If voting for him partly for his FOS was overreacting, then putting the third vote on him must have been even worse overreacting. So his vote shouldn't have gone to me. Of course, it makes sense that he votes me to save himself, but why not just be honest.

 

Anyway, if he is scum, I'd say it is between EM and Kazio. Theophilos was the first to question AKCPluto about his FOS, so that makes him a less likely scum budy. Kazio could have been distancing and the voting could have been too fast for him to unvote. I also wouldn't clear CD just yet. After all, AKCPluto would have been lynched even without his vote. On the other hand, if AKCPluto turns out to be a townie, I'd say that CD is a townie as well. I don't see why he would hammer as scum when the lynch was between two townies.

I'd like to stand up for my innocence as I've received two possible finger of suspicions on me. I want the record to show that I was the one who got this party rolling with my 2nd vote on Martino. Before then, it could have been anyone that was lynched. I put some pressure with my 2nd vote on another player and then stuff started snowballing from there. I doubt that AKC will scum given the bandwagon of votes piled against him but I guess time will tell, that's what makes this game so fun. XD

So no one is going to unvote me and spare my lynch? Sigh!

AKC I think rule 8 or somewhere around there prohibits a lynch unvote.

Not really, he could have done nothing and AKC would still get lynched, so you could call it "overkill" as well. But at this point (since we don't know if AKC was actually scum) it can be interpreted either way.

It can all be construed as WIFOM but the safe money is that he is most likely townie, IMHO.

Hoping to discover what happened, a debate began about who among them killed Matt Miller. Now why did it have to be one of the merchants? Long story short, Matt had a taste-tester taste the food before it arrived at the table. The poison itself was fast acting, and had been found all over his plate. Since the tester hadn't died, then it had to have been transfered to the food between then and when Matt ate it. It was highly unlikely to have been one of the servants as well, special care had been taken in picking them all(Matt was cautious like that...he knew the perils of his power).

 

As such suspicion immediately fell on those sitting nearest Matt: AKCPluto and Martino. Although, in order to prevent unfairness, Matt had arranged for all the merchants to sit near him at the head of the table at one point in time during the evening, AKC and Martino had been nearest to him at the time of his death and were most likely to have poisoned his food.

 

However, the merchants, and the others looking into the case, could little agree on which had done it. Both were wealthy, and both had reason to kill him. It also turns out that there were, as there always seems to be, alternative motives behind each of their choices. Some were closer to AKC, others benefited more from Martino.

 

After spending hours debating and discussing, CanucksDynasty, tired of the constant debate and looking to break whatever tie was there, grabbed his knife and sunk it deep into AKC's chest.

 

"There," he said. "Now perhaps we could rest in peace."

 

A quick search of AKC's body, discovered a vial of poison, cleverly hidden in his robe's sleeve. However, it was quickly discovered that the poison was not that used to kill Matt. Even so, the nature of the poison was such that it only worked when ingested and so it was fairly clear what his intent had been. It seems that someone beat him to the plate however.

And so Night 1 begins. Night actions in to me by Monday morning. Also sorry i'm a bit late getting this out...I was out all day.

Intrigued by the results of their last few hours, the merchants decided to take a break. The real authorities had arrived and had begun snooping around. Regardless, the merchants planned to meet again to continue their discussion.

 

They met in Matt's library, hoping perhaps to make use of the vast amount of books and knowledge therin. As discussion began, they noticed that someone was missing: KevinH. A quick search found him dead in a side room. The only wounds he had were a cut on the arm. The quickly discovered that he had been poisoned with the same poison as Matt, although this time it had been administered by the cut on his arm.

 

Searching him they found some interesting notes. It seemed that Kevin had a vast information gathering system. Little about who or what he found however wasn't here, and they likely wouldn't have much chance to search his home and vessels for clues.

 

And so the debate broke out again...

Day 2 begins...with 5 alive it takes 3 to lynch, 2 at deadline. Deadline is Saturday morning.

When I read this post I was convinced AKCPluto would come up scum. AKCPluto came up scum, so I think I was right on with my hypothesis that Kaziocore's early vote was a distancing vote.

I think the remaining scum is between Electric Mango and Theophilos.

 

And between the 2...I think Theophilos is more scummier.

Due to the fact that he posted very little insight while EM actually made an interesting 2nd vote on you (Martino).

Let the records show that it's hilarious that KevinH, who loves to play follow the cop, finally got to be the cop but was murdered before he had a chance to use his power. Ahhh, the sad twisted irony. Don't worry though Kev, I think this is going to be a fast game anyway.

 

Now, onto matters at hand. It's pretty much a no brainer for me. Out of the two who did not vote for AKC (Me and Theo) , I know it's not me so it's got to be him. As was pointed out by the #1 most winning-est player in the game, Theo was also quiet during Day 1, which you all know I highly frown upon. I like my townies to give me a lil something and Theo did not surrender much information.

 

However, if Martino ends up to be correct, I'll bow down in homage to his superior Mafia skills.
