because for this to be a fair and balanced game as the mod wants, there is most likely only 2 sides and no true third party b/c with the mafia side multiplier there needs to be a fair number of townies to balance that

How can you be so sure?

It makes the most sense, in terms of:
- Balance. 2 NKs a night wouldn't work 10 players. A non-killing third party sucks to play as, I sincerely regret using survivors in my old games.
- This mechanic. If there was a third party, it would make sense that the battlefield should swing 3 ways. But it doesn't.

@ccabal - That's a good start to any mafia game. Just make sure you vote in the correct format or it won't count.

ccabal86, you're see the acronym EBWOP which means Edit By Way Of Post. If you make a mistake, just make another post. We'll all understand.

Regarding the math, I think it will be an interesting problem. There could be some very active and some not-so-active scum that would give the same result as a balanced set of semi-active scum.

The best option would be for townies to post alot and lynch the not-very-active scum. Townies: Get posting!

There's always the possibility of a third party that could simply ruin both sides. The Moderator could of made up some roles for this game in particular.

However, chances are its 3 mafia 7 townies like molestargazer suggested.

Special Rules
4. Any third-party roles will not affect the # of posts for either town or mafia. However, it may play a part in their own powers(if they have any) or win condition.

That doesn't confirms that there's actually is a third-party in this case , am i right?, that rule is in case there is a third-party, so how can be mole sure there actually is one? i'll repeat the same thing i said in the last post. Does he knows something we don't maybe?

That's right, I'm secretly a third party who wants you to believe th- oh, you.

I can't be certain. But I don't think it's:
- Likely to happen
- Worth worrying about right now if there is one.

Our job in the game is to hunt scum - if there's a third party in here who's out for our demise, it's our job to hunt for them as well. Which we'd do in pretty much the same way. We'll get more evidence tonight - but until then, let's find some scum.

Well remember I thought that there was a third party last games because of this...

And guys I don't know if you people know this but I'll just remind you that
not all posts are counted as stated in this rule...

1. In this game you are fighting over a battlefield. The more posts you make in thread with applicable content(determined by me), the more your side advances against the opponent.
1-1. Double posts(or triple posts etc) will only count as a single post.

If we look at post counts and assume that they are one side or the other, we will get bad results.
