There's never much to say on day 1.

This game, however, we can plan how we react to the shift in the battlefield.

Ok I just got online to three pages of posts, I'm not sure I like the way this is going.

You guys have already talked about the possible mafia and strategies to root out the traitors in our midst but there may be a third party that attempts to screw everyone up. With 10 I think it's 2 mafia plus third party or 3 mafia plus additional townie roles.

While you are right about the possible existence of a third party, I don't think our strategy should involve them all that much. We have no information about them, so what can we do really? We can guess at their ability/win condition, but since we know nothing about them, we may as well be helping them by changing our strategy. No, I'd say we should focus on the mafia and then reconsider if we've killed them all and we're still not in control of all land. Anyway, I sure hope it's not a cult. I hate playing with cults. Still I find it interesting that mole stated this firmly that there would be no third party. The description seemed to implicate that there would be one.

@Martino - You talked about people posting meaningfully and not double posting so you can get a vote count up. Now, I may be wrong, but I thought the whole point of this content judging system was to see us meaninfully hunt scum, and not try to outguess the mod at how well we're doing. We're still playing Mafia - our goal is still to lynch scum.

I'd say Mole has a point there. I'm starting to wonder if the different rules of this particular round are encouraging the players to try to beat the system rather than try to beat the game...

I doubt to the point of certainty that there are no cult members in this game. I was thinking more on the lines of a serial killer, survivor or side-switching roles.

Not really understanding your point.

As far I can tell...it's a mechanism to encourage activity. And the post count should help determine who are possible scum. For instance, currently we have 3 people with high post counts. they are CanucksDynasty (me), Mole, and KevinH. Now let's just say we ask for an update as soon as Martino makes his 2nd post . If it is balanced then (if I am correct) that should mean that one of us is scum. If it favours the town...then that should mean all three of us are townies. If it is heavily skewed in Mafia favour...then more than one of us are scum.

And yes we are still hunting scum.

Well, it's really just a random vote TBH. I was the first to vote for him, but it was not accepted becaue of it's format (noob's mistake). I stand by my decision though because...well why the hell not?
