I sincerely doubt that no mafia did not vote for AKCPLUTO.

So among the 8 who voted for him...there should be at least 1 or 2 mafia in the mix (trying to appear townie).

I suspect maybe one mafia is among the inactives (ie. Curufinwe, Yahna, 19thSpecops).

He clearly is most suspicious of KevinH this round. I don't have much of an opinion of him either way. I'd watch both of their actions closely later on.

Kasabian: He did support the roles I proposed, but only after it had picked up some steam. (AKC had already switched his votes at that point as well). Got into a little fight with AKC early on (putting a FOS on each other), though that could easily be distancing. Quickly joined Chaoshawk on voting KevinH for not voting no lynch. It would surprise me greatly if both of them turned out to be townies. There was a good excuse but no solid reason to vote KevinH. That is typically the kind of situation a mafia would try to take advantage of. After KevinH votes Kasabian he tries to defend himself. However, he is not very convincing and in fact the points he brings up are both false. (KevinH did not assume there was a cop and the majority of the players did agree there was no cop). Voting for AKC after the counterclaim should not clear him in any way.

I voted b/c CD, convince me about the counterclaiming, and i believed from the begining he is a townie.

 

@about CH, i can't say to much about him, what i thought that make me suspect about him was what you mentioned that he quickly supported kevinh decision about the roles, i don't believe to much that he "didn't" knew that the mafia selected the town role, why, b/c in the first post the MOD mentioned that after the mafia choose the roles for the townies, then we were going to choose the roles for them, so, that excuse is kinda odd.

Nerau: Also supported KevinH's role selection, as he believed them to be the weakest. KevinH obviously thought the same, so it does not necessarily mean he is scum, but it counts against him. Once Kasabian and CH were attacking KevinH, Nerau did say that he believed KevinH statement that there was most likely no cop to be valid. However, he was also quick to add that this did not clear KevinH. Nerau being scum would also support AKC's roleclaim. After all, if nothing had changed, and it certainly looked like nothing would change. AKC would be lynched and we would find out about Nerau's alignment. So that would be 2 scum down in 2 days. Certainly seems like the mafia had something to gain by making AKC roleclaim. As I explained above, the weak doc becomes useless as soon as his identity is known. On the other hand, even if Nerau is not scum, the weak doc would be a powerful tool for the town, so it may have been worth sacrificing AKC, who most likely was going to die anyway. If AKC comes up as the roleblocker, this theory can be discarded. Otherwise, Nerau could make a good D2 target. Remarkably enough, however, I was more suspicious of him before doing my reread. Most of his posts actually do seem to make sense. Perhaps it would be better to postpone his lynch for a bit. Also, he agreed to be the weak doc target without too much trouble. Kasabian and CH make better targets, but he should still be watched.

 

Yes i did say what i said but i will agree it was probably a miss read on my part and plus not taking into account other factors. Yes I also agree with the Weak doc b/c it can be used as a scum detector. This part i didn't see the first time i read the role, which is why my first reaction came up.

Things seem to have derailed a little - or at least devolved into more accusations.

 

Will it even register you visited that person if you are roleblocked?

I don't know as I've seldomly played games with a roleblocker.

I might get a message saying my attempts to protect player X was thwarted.

Sounds like the answer to this one is no, which is VERY unfortunate. If WD were notified of block, then mafia would be forced to block for all of the first 4 nights so that we would be denied any information, and absence of roleblock could be treated as a 'true' townie verification while presence would be 'mafia screwing with results'. As it currently stands, unless mafia decides to go bulletproof hunting (since we're pretty sure there is one) there's not going to be an easy way to tick down their roleblocker shots; those 4 will be stretched pretty well.

 

As for the other stuff chaoshawk said... wow, lots of suspicion thrown around there. It's still worth investigating him tonight, but I dont entirely understand where your FoS came from CD; could you elaborate/explain please? Reading back, it sounded like he was just annoyed you had to roleclaim since now the roleblocker can target you as needed; see above.

 

For Day 2....Can everyone please make 2 votes (one for the lynch and one for me to protect)?

 

For example...

 

Vote: player A - this will be the person you want to lynch.

WD: player B - this will be the person you want me to protect.

 

 

We get 2 sets of info this way.

Which should help narrow down the field of suspects.

Just to be clear, Day 2 has not actually STARTED yet, right?

There are a lot of accusations being thrown around, some with reasonably well thought out backing, some without. The lynch is locked on AKC now (I believe) so why not wait until the end of night to gather some more info? (results from WD, any nightkills, etc)

I would just like to comment that I disagree that just voting for AKCPLUTO makes them suspicious

as almost everyone want to lynch an obvious lying scum

though I find it very suspicious the timing of the later voters.

The storm in the southeast U.S. is cramping my style. Maybe it is cramping Narsis, too.

Not that it changes much, but I'll rephrase that part. Right after CH voted KevinH for not going with his usual no lynch strategy, you conveniently voted KevinH for something that happened days ago.

You vote KevinH for X, KevinH reputes X and votes you for making up a reason, you try to prove X was a valid reason. (but fail, as KevinH points out in his next post). I'd say that counts as defending yourself. Note though, that it was not the fact you were defending yourself that got my attention. It was the fact that you were claiming things that were false.

My angle against you is that you have done a few things that I find scummy. What I am curious about though is what makes you think I am scum? And if I am scum, what gave you the idea I have an important role? And you'll have to come up with something better than "I'm just thinking that's all".
