Dude, it's block AND protect at the same time and on the same person. It may protect someone, but will also block any abilities that person may be using. It may block someone from using an ability, but will also protect that person for the night, even from "movement" the security guard may otherwise detect.

There is a downside if you use it on Mafia and a downside if you use it on Townies. Why the hell do you think I waited this long to use it?

And that's what I'm getting at. You have a role that can do both (block AND protect). That's just way too powerful for a townie to have in a game like this.

Yes, but whatever you're doing, it's worse than a plain bodyguard or roleblocker as the other effect is applied too. While it is multi-pupouse, it has a high chance of backfiring.

Can everybody run through which three people they think is mafia and why? That way we can see who is the most scummy in everybody's opinion.

AKC - bad roleclaim name differs from TC as being "ex" lifeguard. He voted for me and I still haven't been lynched. Since I'm townie then he must be mafia.

EM - at one point he had 3 votes (TC, CD, Pres) and still wasn't lynched. All it would take is for 1 vote for mafia to make to win the game. Unless you believe all 3 voters to be mafia.

Ccabal86 - vocally starts to attack me and places a 2nd vote on me after I had placed the 2nd vote on EM. His role has dual purposes and does the same job as Nerau and KevinH. Too powerful in my opinion.

To me, CD is the only confirmable scum due to the aforementioned reasoning which has been repeated ad infinitum, whereas I obviously have question marks to a lesser degree on EM and ccabal86.

If it's a tie between myself and EM, then EM should be lynched since he got to 2 votes first. If we both get 3 votes...then whomever got 3 votes first will be lynched.

Stop pretending like you don't understand. You should use a protective role on a townie. You should use a roleblocker on a mafia. Whatever you pick, the other "role" will be applied as well. eg, you will also "protect" a mafia and you will also "roleblock" a townie.

My suspects:

CD: See before.
EM: He managed to stay under the radar this whole game. Voted for 2 townies who were consequently lynched
??: Not quite sure about the third person, I don't really have a strong opinion on the rest. Preston was a little too easily convinced by CD's arguments. AKC and CD have been gunning for eachother for quite a while now, so it's not TOO likely they're on the same team. RoT seems to lay low recently.

This is a 1-shot ability which may be used during the night. I may choose a player who I wish to lock in the bathroom. Any moves during the night done by the player, or targetting that player will not be successful. [One last detail goes here that I don't want to reveal].
