I'm thinking this was the action of two factions also. The flavor sets it up so that the mafia are trying to make us sane again, not kill us. I'd go with a townie vigilante calling in the hit on JohnGato.

We'll have to go back and look at how that unfolded. Hopefully there is something to tease out. It was an interesting target for the scum, I'd say we didn't come through with no information, but it will take some stretching.

Well that was an interesting night. The neighborizers were noted by their gender as well, so could that have some effect on the game? They may have been some form of lover roles. However, I doubt they knew about each other, as Imran was the first one to vote for JohnGato to be lynched.

In addition, I think it is likely that somebody other than the mafia ordered the attack on JohnGato. Now I just need to look back on day 1 and see if I can figure anything out.

Now somebody knows something. Everybody should make suggestions so those with real knowledge can blend in.

The fact that JohnGato died does not put more suspicion on those that voted for him, in my opinion.
While it was not pro-town to lynch him, there could easily be scum that didn't vote for him that wanted to frame the voters.

Also, by being inactive, JohnGato was not really threatening the scum so it's a good possibility that he was killed by someone other than scum (I agree with OrangeRush).

I thought eliminating inactive people favors us? If that is the case than why would a mafia eliminate JohnGato? This tells me there is another faction involve.

I doubt that, because if they were connected in some way, don't you think they would have known about that. and I dont think Imran knew about JohnGato's role since he was the first to vote for him. So there probably is some vigilante-type role out there

The question is though, why would a serial killer waste his kill on an inactive? Either they knew something others didn't, or they have multishot, and will have more people to kill on following nights. I don't know... just a thought.

ya, i can see how it could have been a prow-town vigilante, cause any other person would have been totally random to kill, and at least this random kill was on an inactive.
