@Preston: Night 2 I realized you were the cop. In hindsight I should have figured it out during D2. However, for most of D2 I was absolutely convinced that Imran was our cop. Since he completely switched his opinion around during the night, I was convinced that he got a scum result on CoD. However, I did not want to force him to claim since I figured CoD should be a clear lynch anyway (which I still believe he should have been). It was only when he got into trouble and still refused to claim that I figured he was not the cop. However, that unfortunately lead me to conclude thate CoD and Imran were scum together.

 

Anyway, I think I would not have claimed in your position either. If you had been nightkilled, it would have been extremely obvious that you got a guilty result on EM, so no information would be lost. This way you at least had a chance to get in another investigation. 

 

Still can't believe they lynched you though. EM claimed three investigations in two nights, that was pointed out, and still people followed him. After I read EM's explanation, I really wanted to quote it and post "OMG ... we took our dog ... uhm ... like to the fish shop today ... because the dog likes going out and meeting new people. (http://diablowned.com/ for those that don't get the reference.).  However, I figured whoever was scum with EM might actually follow him on that defense and expose himself.

Yeah I have no idea why Rafay and Xarastier followed EM. I was preparing myself for the 1 v 3 game that was going to be our next day, but they both voted for Preston so I figured I'd go for it.

I think everyone especially the newbies should learn from this game
 
1) Meta tells can be unreliable. The mafia has more incentive to act and copy his previous play style as town.

It also doesn't mean that when a player changes his play style, he's automatically scummy.
 
2) Before voting, check whether it's LYLO or MYLO. For example, if it takes 4 players to lynch a player in LYLO or MYLO
and there are still 2 mafia players, then make sure you make allowances for scum to quick hammer.
You only need two townie players to vote for one townie player for two scum to quick hammer.
 
3) No lynching is terribad. Don't argue
 
4) Don't immediately believe a player's role claim especially if it's LYLO or MYLO.
 
5) Well if you're a power role (e.g. cop, doctor) and you're going to role claim in LYLO or MYLO,
be prepared for a possible counter claim by the mafia. It could go wrong horribly.
 
6) Please only vote if you think someone is scummy not because you hate how long he posts :|
 
7) Please don't sheep. Smart people can still be wrong. But if you're stubbornly want to sheep someone,
personally I'd sheep Martino Though you're screwed if he's scum.
 
8) Please don't vote just because the majority votes for a person. A billion people can still be wrong.

 

9) Don't be afraid to vote for someone even though it's still days before the deadline.

And it doesn't stop when you put your vote on someone. You should make a case

and convince everyone he's scum.

 

10) Learn to compromise.

 

11) If two players are fighting and you think one of them is townie, it does not necessarily mean

that the other one is automatically scum. You should also check whether it's Townie vs Townie
 
Still, it was exciting moderating this game. I think Martino and Preston did a great job.
I hope you guys could join with as more frequently
 
Congrats to the mafia. lol good job Chaplain of death. I think even if EM was lynched,
the candidates for tomorrow's lynch would either be Rafay or Xarastier and if you
claimed as doctor, no one would dare question it (maybe Martino?)
 
Rafay and Xarastier need to improve more with their game.
 
It's too bad that Imran Ehsan was busy but I think he would have done more
if he was more active.
 
lol at KevinH for still advocating a No Lynch even though it was proven
by many players who played this setup that No Lynching is terrible.

Ah I was wrong. I thought Rafay was a power role because Electric told me he would say Rafay's name in his first post if he was a power role lol. Okay then.

Also, we wanted to kill Martino, but it would have set me up for a lynch if we did it night 1. and same thing really on night 2 really.  Night 2 we realized Preston was a cop, so we decided to weaken his support by killing Killgor who was pretty much following your lead. Having Martino alive when he believed me to be townie was fine at that point anyway.

Also you got mine and Electric's roles backwards. I was the goon and Electric was our role cop.

If you gave me a quick explanation on how to run the game more smoothly in PM Kazio I could be convinced to admin one so that I can laugh at you and kevin arguing about day 1 no-lynching.

Night 2/Start of Day 3, I was actually not convinced you were a townie at all. However, having jumped high and low for two straight days to try and get you lynched, I figured it would be more productive to focus on the other scum first. That being said, after Rafay voted Preston I figured he must be the second scum. So had Xarastier not voted Preston and had you nightkilled Preston, I most likely would have lynched Rafay the next day.
