I'm not going to give specifics about my character because I do not want everyone to start mass role claiming.

Do you have an objection to a mass NAME claim in an order determined by Helix? I have already outted you as the neighborizer so there isn't much for you to hide at this point - unless you are a scum neighborizer.

Really, even if you were Town, you would be a low priority target anyway given that we have doc claim and a MOD CONFIRMED Townie on the table. As a neighborizer you can't do anything to hurt either anti-Town faction.

A neighborizer is also of limited utility to Town as the only purpose it serves is to extend night chat to a selected group of individuals. You neighborized me last night, for example, and are currently voting for me which would indicate you wish to publicly accuse me of being scum. What good would a night chat with a potential scum be to the Town?

Conversely, if you are scum, the scum neighborizer can help wreck a Town. Before this accusation comes up again, I am not linking to this thread to boast. Since you have no meta on me I feel as though it is important that you understand that I actually do speak from personal experience. The first link in that post is to a game where I subbed into a scum neighborizer slot. As you can tell from the nomination post [so you don't have to read a whole game], I used that role to manipulate Town to our will.

Taking charge and misleading Town isn't something an SK would do. It's quite the opposite, in fact. Think about it. An SK would want to blend in and not attract the attention of scum. If an SK were to somehow lead the Town and get enough people to think he was Town? He'd be a threat to scum and would thus be a target. You also have to bear in mind that an SK *needs* the Town to help kill off the scum. A good SK would want as much Town credit as possible towards the end of the game so that if they get all the scum and make it to LYLO they can actually win.

In other words, the reasons you think I'm an SK are really the reasons I WOULDN'T be the SK.

Anyway, let's let Helix moderate the discussion so we don't get off on a tangent.

That is true if you are not BP. You have claimed earlier that you are BP..unless you lied about that as well. I wouldnt put it past it for there to be a BP SK. This is actually a good point. That said, the BP on an SK is typically 1-shot. And unlimited shot BP SK is way too overpowered and wouldn't give scum much of a fighting chance.

I can't prove that I'm not a BP SK. But even if you thought I was, I would go back to my earlier argument that I would still need to and want to kill scum. With Town down by 2 already, I think the SK *has* to shoot for scum tonight. So if I were a BP SK, I could theoretically help Town by killing a scum AND absorbing a scum kill in a single night. That would actually be about the best case scenario imaginable.

Interesting to consider, but that's not the case. Sorry. Also, you can't [and probably shouldn't even attempt to] SK hunt. The SK is part of the uninformed minority so their play would be indistinguishable from Town. The scum need to find the SK on their own. They don't need help from the Town.

As for the doctor claiming, that is ultimately up to them.  I'll let them choose whether to claim or not and explain their own actions/motives.

Okay, so now you have this statement. It is completely false. If I were to be lynched tonight or killed by some other means, you will see my flip. Once you have seen my flip, you will know that EM has lied. I would obviously prefer to see EM lynched and hope that you all come to the same conclusion but this is a big one.

At this point in the game, there is zero reason for a Town EM to lie about something as trivial as a neighborizer. It's not a role worth preserving.

Even more interesting is that there is zero reason for a scum Yates to make up being neighborized. Further, there would be even less reason for an L-1 Yates to randomly say "EM is the one that neighborized me" since I would already be in jeopardy of being hammered. Like KevinH before me, I just needed to get that out there so it would be public record worth looking at once I was hammered.

So we have 100% found scum. I will ask Helix to make the call on this. Regardless of if you have agreed or disagreed with my play and my methods, I can assure you that EVERYTHING I have done has been for the benefit of the Town. EM ABSOLUTELY neighborized me last night. This is an unequivocol claim I am making that there is no "takesy backsies" on. This is not a bluff or a gambit. It is purely fact.

Precisely right. If you hadn't neighborized me, why wouldn't you have come forward when I was at L-1? You would have just won the Town a scum. This was a major misstep, EM.

I kept refreshing and saw you were reading the thread so I wanted to see your response to my previous post. I thought it was odd that you ignored it since it demonstrated that I was doing precisely what you had asked of me. That made me scratch my head. So... Yates being the paranoid sort I went ahead and screen captured the bottom of the screen that shows who is reading the topic. I also captured the clock on my windows tab in case you were going to try to deny being on. You spent a LOT of time active lurking and never responded to my post.

Note to self: this makes Muted Faith about 700% more likely to be Town given EM's vote from early in the day. The motivation on his Theo vote and unvote is TBD.

Oh. And just in case any of you have any lingering doubts about me and still want to lynch me before EM, I would like for you to consider this:

Scum Yates falsely claiming Town EM neighborized him nets him a rope the second EM claims he didn't [while I was at L-1 mind you]. No positive outcome.

TOWN Yates accurately claiming EM neighborized him at L-1 potentially confirms a neighborizer claim from EM from a mod confirmed dead Townie. Information is good.

Now let's play out the scenarios:

If I were lying about EM being a neighborizer, and even if you believe there's some crazy reason he didn't speak up while I was at L-1, what would that net me? A dead Townie? So what. The SK has just found scum and kills me at night. Net effect is like a no lynch with two dead Town - except you have the info associated with the wagon.

If you decide to believe I'm telling the truth and lynch EM? You get a dead scum. You get wagon analysis. AND you have the potential for scum and SK to target the same person again which means we lose 1 Town for 1 Scum instead of 2 for 1 as in the above scenario.

I'm done selling my point. I'm Town. EM is scum. This is not a gambit.

LOL - as you know I was just INVITED last night. That's how the role works. We wouldn't have our first "conversation" until tonight since the mod doesn't send action results until predawn.
