What are you claiming happened that you didn't vote me at the beginning of the day yet now seem to be hinting is somehow incriminating?  Since you know I tracked you to me, the complete jig is up on my end and I can't pretend to just be a BP Townie to avoid a NK. You were also in support of the doc counter claiming, iirc, so that takes doctor off the table.

I know. I had to read the message twice. I felt like someone that just realized his fly has been unzipped all day. So much for me pretending to be good at mafia...

So for those of you following at home, my character claim was legit.  I am Imhotep, the Mummy. 

 

I was trying to hint that I was just a BP because I didn't need scum AND SK targeting me on the same night. I also tried to set Kevin up as a Miller so I could convince scum to go look for a cop. At this point, my imminent death is inevitable.  I'm either going to be mislynched here or I'm going to be double targeted tonight [since I'm pretty sure I can only absorb 1 shot at a time].

 

I am actually an X-Shot Town Tracker.

 

I tracked Mango to myself last night when I got neighborized to a closed and locked QT thread with only the mod post in it.  Thus, my epic failure.  I thought that I had tracked Mango to me because he had neighborized me when in fact I just tracked him to me and Muted Faith neighborized me.

So posting this up just for my clarity really but lets see what we get:

So in the might be scum category we have:

Giving benefit of doubt to EM for now as he visited Yates but Yates didnt lie. However he may be a scum watcher/tracker.

 

Others dont post much and have a very good probability of being scum. Theo -> I am not really that convinced about the Dr. Ned claim. As has been pointed out already it is a very uncommon character. maybe he did a quick google search to find out a character who is a doc but fits in with the supernatural/ villanous type character. Ending up with a very less known character. Plus if Lurch was a bodyguard there probably wouldnt be a second doctor in the game.

 

We also need to consider, what will give us the most info from the lynch today. Lynching Yates at this point and finding out he is town really doesnt give us info because his play style has caused most townies to turn against him. Scum will easily blend in there. So we need to lynch one from my above shortlist. I will go with Theo as I feel he has been less than vocal about a scum claim against him and he happened to claim the only role that will probably prevent a counter claim against him.

Since I'm not scum, and I AM a Tracker, and I wasn't roleblocked last night, and we have a Doc claim out there, and you didn't counter the doc, and you were cool with letting people think you were a neigborizer, and you didn't vote me right off the bat at the beginning of the day...  well, we are running out of Town roles for you.

 

Please tell us how you can possibly be Town.  While I'm still alive would be super.  I only ask this because you know what I think?  I think you are a mafia role cop.  And I think you guys were already going to try to kill me tonight anyway since you know my role.

If he's a watcher, he would have already known Muted Faith visited me. So outting Muted Faith as my neighbor was nothing special. Plus, everything said about the role when I thought it was Mango remains the same. It's not a valuable role and is just as likely to be a scum role as it is a Town one.

That being said, if Mango flips scum why would he watch me if he knows his scum buddy is going to neighborize me? Thus, a scum Mango flip pretty much confirms a Town Muted Faith. Also, there would be no reason for a scum Mango to watch a scum Yates so that would confirm me as well.

While I'm still leary of Theo's claim, I'd like to see Mango's response to these posts.

Also, we have to weigh the liklihood of a town watcher AND a town tracker being in the same game. So even if you decided not to lynch either of us and one of us turns up dead in the morning you know what's up.

The Dr. Ned claim seems obscure to me.  The other roles are something people would recognize pretty quickly.  People know who Casper is.  People know who Dracula is.  Lurch is a classic monster type.  Jacob Black is a well known werewolf and pop culture reference.  Dr. Ned feels completely out of place.  Most of the other characters come from movies, tv shows, books or a combination of those.  People should check their roles and see if they think such an obscure one is out of place.

 

Also, I just realized that the mummy was a character *I included* in my narration.  He never appeared in anything mod wrote.

As always, doctor roles are pretty common in mafia games, and to false role claim and not have someone else come forward counter claiming is very bold move to make, so Theo = Doc in my eyes.

Suspecting Theo based on the character name is weak. If he is scum he'd claim a more common one(Frankenstein? Mr Hyde?), because there isn't any reason not to

 

And I believe if there is a true doctor(non-Theo) he should comes out now. Having a doctor claims confuses the SK and Mafias on which to kill on the night(for more detailed reasoning, visit Yates' post here, and for today we will surely get a scum(Theo).  And too bad Imran, no doctors have come up till now

 

Yes Imran, I'm accusing you of misleading the town here.

You lurk around and put Yates on L-1 back a few pages earlier but unvoted after Yates claimed that you're super scummy. And yeah starting at that point you become active at posting bluff posts and questions.

 

 

Yates role-claiming tracker didn't prove that he's likely to be townie, he can be a scum tracker, hell his veteranship in mafiascum only makes him more suspicious for me(he managed to reveal a doctor while escaping death), but I agree incase Yates actually turns out to be town it won't give town a lot of informations.
