I don't think things are going to work out well at River Run, do you? Forgetting the books, uncle whats-his-face was last seen at the red wedding getting hitched to Walder Frey's daughter while his sister and nephew were getting murdered.

The guy at River Run that they mentioned is the Black Fish. Hes that guys father, and he actually escaped the red wedding because he left right before shit went down.

Oh yeah! I was confused. Still wonder how willing or able he is to help given his son's situation.

Edmure tully(Brother of Cateyln stark) was the one who got married on Red wedding,Blackfish is his uncle not his dad.He is the guy whom Catelyn stark met at the gate of Vale when she had Tyrion as her prisoner.

 

And the episode was awesome,too intense,it certainly got my hopes high for the upcoming episodes

Can someone explain the whole Greyjoy scene? Why Yara took the fleet? And why majority of the people in the Kingsmoot  followed her? And only a few stayed behind with the Uncle?

 

Also the drowning initiation is probably reason why Balon was so retarded, all that sea water could give brain damage.

It's obvious Yara took the fleet, along with all who supported her, because the Uncle would have killed them both. The question is, will she support Jon and Sansa? Yara will lay plans to depose her Uncle... but how would helping the Starks accomplish that? We have to wait...

Well to attack the twins to get Edmure back he needs a bigger army, one which he could get if he secured the help of the north. Also the Stark kids are still family to him.

Blackfish would be the most reliable ally for Jon and Sansa, and I'm sure Walder Frey will be first on his kill list. Frey is in a bad way right now... Tywin and Roose are both dead, and King's Landing has their own problems... which leaves him alone.

I think that Yara is enormously popular with the Iron born, with a huge following. When it became clear that she would not be queen she and her supporters took off while they could. If uncle asshole was willing to kill his own brother, i'm sure she realized that she was next on the kill list. So in short, she went off with HER fleet, which she has commanded for years, while uncle asshole did the drowning ritual. Those that stayed behind or religious fanatics and/ or misogynists.

I had similar thoughts. She might just say screw it and try and convince Dragon lady to side with her before the uncle and even show up. Either way the ball is in her corner.

I think theon might try to convince her to go help jon and sansa with the idea that if they help the Starks, then the Starks will help them (same as Blackfish).

What im most interested to see is what littlefinger does now since Sansa told him to fuck off. Robin Arryn still thinks they are going off to help Sansa. Does Littlefinger just go back to the vale and plan his next move, or does he show up to the fight anyway, and if so on which side. Always so many questions when it comes to that prick.

It wouldn't benefit him to stay back and not help Sansa, even though she give him the finger, doesn't mean he wont fight Ramsey. Especially when you consider if he does that means no Northern army would stand in his way to get the iron throne, hell he might even end up getting their support because of it.

When they hear the dead are coming why do they have to run off to the past and grab control of the young Hodor in the past. Why not stay in the present and take over Hodors mind to "hold the door" and help them escape.

 

Interesting to know that the Children were the culprits who created the Others. Makes sense somewhat.

When they hear the dead are coming why do they have to run off to the past and grab control of the young Hodor in the past. Why not stay in the present and take over Hodors mind to "hold the door" and help them escape.

 

Interesting to know that the Children were the culprits who created the Others. Makes sense somewhat.

I thought he was controlling  Hodor in the present as Hodor was frozen in terror, but that it spilled into the past as well, like a time loop.

I don't think he wants the iron throne, I think he wants to be the power behind the throne.  He is all about manipulation and strategy, he's the Bobby Fisher of Westeros.  in the first season there is a scene between him and the bald master of whispers (I'm terrible with names!) and he pretty much spells out that he's all about being powerful, but has no desire to be the target sitting on the throne.

True but he could also sit back and attack whoever wins (just like he said he would between the boltons and Stannis to Cersai). The Northerners don't much care who's on the throne right now so much as they want revenge on the Boltons (and the Frey's), and they want their family members freed.

Littlefinger wants to put Robyn on the throne, because he wants a puppet. He wants all the control without being the target on the throne. 

 

As for why Bran went into the past again, the 3 eyed raven said "its time for you to become me" before they went. I think he was meant to learn much more than he did but they ran out of time.

I also don't really understand why they still had to go back in the past, but the old man probably still had something important to show Bran. Probably so Hodor would become Hodor and be there at that moment, so he could hold the door and they can get away. Although why can't they just leave earlier?

Baelish had a plan to attack Winterfell after the siege of Stannis, and destroy whoever won... but Stannis lost most of his mercenaries after he burned his own daughter alive. This gave Ramsey an easy victory over Stannis, still holding Winterfell with his army at full strength, and now Umber and Karstark have allied with him. Petyr Baelish does not give up... he improvises. So I fully expect him to stay and wait for another chance... and I don't trust that he gave Sansa the truth about Riverrun. This guy just gets people to do what he wants them to do, for his own benefit. So even if it's true, he may be just wanting to get Blackfish to commit his army, even the odds, and mop up after everyone kills themselves off.

Yeah it doesnt make sense. They went back to the past to see Brandon riding off to the war. It wasnt some extremely important part of history that Bran really needed to see before the dead arrived. Thats why I said, they butchered up the story.
