1st, I don't find Aquinas any more scummier for his change of votes on KevinH. I followed his logic and nothing pinged my scumdar. If anything he helped the town by putting pressure on someone. That's a good way to squeeze out some information that otherwise may have remained hidden.
2nd, don't think KevinH is any more or less scummy because he wants a Day 1 no lynch. I've played lots of games with KevinH and that's how he does it every time.
1. I have good feelings about Aquinas too, he certainly seems to be thinking rationally and said he would change his vote if it was proved that it was ill-placed.
2. I agree that KevinH always follows this strategy, but I do not think it should let him off the hook. By following his strategy he witholds information from the town, while we are anlayzing vote patterns and other simple things that help give the lynchings direction. In my eyes, since KevinH always follows this strategy he will always be hurting the town.
My perogative in this game is to have the town win the game, and choosing a lynch candidate is the only power I have as a townie. There is nothing that says I have to lynch the scummiest, I am going to vote to lynch to give the town the best chance of winning. Right now, I have
no clue about who seems the scummiest, everybody seems to be acting rationally and townally. Therefore, I'm going to keep my vote on the weakest leak, KevinH. I've noticed in more than one past game that KevinH will vote if pressure is placed on him. Until he votes, or someone who seems scummy appears, I will keep my vote on him.
(Disclaimer: I <3 you KevinH, I used to believe in the no-lynch thing too.)
