I may regret this, but iSoc was my original choice; my original FoS, and he's been way too smooth all day. LS still bears watching, but I'm less convinced of his scumminess right now.

My only thing is we know from previous games TW has used scum JoAT before. I believe Rhizo himself was the scum JoAT.

It most certainly exists and can be used. Lyner stating we're making a mistake by targeting Isoc is rather questionable to me. What if he misses (assuming he is town JoAT), hits town and we're down a town? Assuming he is a scum JoAT, you give him a free night to hit who he wants. 

 

As far as Rhizo's RC,

I don't like the forced RC and I don't like how there isn't time for a possible counter-claim/discussion. Hopefully he survives to where we can discuss this more tomorrow.

 

Not sure if I was a scum Joat.  I know I was a town JOAT because I could of vig killed CoD to win it, but instead roleblocked him and he was immuned to it and we lost.  But no TW has used scum JOAT's as well...I maybe been it.  All games blend together outside of ones I cost the win for my team.  

 

 

No one is going to counter claim it.  It would be suicidal of scum to somehow come out and claim no "I'm the doctor," as they're dead even if I'm killed.  There's not two doctors in a game.  I roleclaimed not because I was forced, though Kitkat and Lyner tried to, but because

 

1.  If I'm right, which I believe I am, they aren't going to keep me alive because they know I'm gunning for them.  They'll have better odds tricking the people they already have

2.  They have to make a choice to kill me or go after a cop, which maybe I delayed the killing of the cop. 

3.  I wanted to prove Lyner and Kitkat have looked to push suspicion on a town and force a roleclaim with only hours left.  Scum move, especially considering Lyner was set LS was scum before, and now is back to voting him.

4.  Hopefully town start to listen, as Lyner and Kitkat and Isocialism have looked to shine doubt on me which in turns help Isocialism

5.  I don't care if I die. I've spent way too much time devoted to this game already and watching town get fooled by scum is frustrating enough

6.  I have reverted back to long ass replies because town keeps letting them get fooled that I'm not enjoying it, nor is making people read my long replies fun for them.  At the end of the day, fun is all that matters

It's an easy decision, isn't it? I think I have repeated this over and over, but our assumption since the start of the day is that the WP wagon has scum(s) in it: iSoc, Rhizo, and Kitkat. If we assume iSoc is town, and therefore a JoAT, then his choice is simply limited to the rest, either Rhizo or Kitkat. If nobody contest your claim, then Kitkat is our winner. Easy decision. Not so easy now since I've explicitly stated it.

 

 

You also want to keep saying Isocialism is dead if he doesn't deliver a scum.  Yet if he does, you obviously in your opinion believe he's town, which is already brought up

The town still wins, with or without me. Except scum has more chance to win if iSoc is truly a town JoAT.

 

 

He could be a scum with a Vig ability that hasn't been able to be used til N3 (TW is known to put such restrictions), and keeping him alive 1 more night means you not only mislynch today, get a kill tonight from your normal kill, but also a 3rd.  Yea Isocialism is dead, will likely come out saying he guessed wrong and so forth.  It will be quite beneficial to make sure to keep a scum alive one more night to use a vig when you already had 1 kill stopped.

First time I ever heard that, but sure, let's assume iSoc is a scum JoAT with N3 vig restriction. Let's also assume there are 5 scums in the game. That means we currently have 4 scums and 10 townies. If we were to kill LS the town today and Scum + iSoc kills another, it becomes  4:7.

 

By this time, we have two possible options:

1. Lyner the scum succesfully fooled everybody and make sure the scum party is safe, and scum lynched another townie during the night. It goes down to 4:5. iSoc and Lyner are pretty much dead, therefore bringing it down (plus nights) to 2:3. Now by this time if we haven't confirmed which players are which then yes we're screwed, but I don't think so. If tomorrow cop comes out and cleared one or two persons, we pretty much have 5 confirmed townies (counting the cop, CoD, FS, and WP and another person).

2. iSoc the scum get lynched, bringing down the ratio to 3:6. Lyner the scum would be the next on the killing list, so it would be 2:5. Town wins.

 

Bad strategies all around. The best way for scum to win this game is to keep a low profile, bus their friend or let townies kill each other, not by these RCs

If iSoc turned out to be scum ninja then someone should watch Rhizo, else just let someone with blocking ability to protect him.

And if I'm wrong about Isocialism and he's lynched, which I don't believe, and I'm not here then my apologies.  I wasted not only my time but yours, and left myself sleep deprived in order to stay up late to post replies for nothing.  I'd look at LS, but also to some of the more quiet ones that remain under radar.  Wouldn't factor out people who defended Isocialism as well, just for simple fact if they were scum and knew Isocialism wasn't, him being found to be town boosts them for defending them.  

 

Either way, best of luck to town if I'm not here.  

 

An apologies to all reverting back to old ways.  I think I'll be taking a break from this game.  Game shouldn't be a chore for people to read.

Number Twelve Grimmauld Place was chaotic the next morning as everyone was rushing around to pack away the rest of their belongings in their school trunks. Fred and Ginny accidentally knocked Ginny down two flights of stairs and even though she was okay it put Mrs. Weasley in a foul mood. Moody stood in the kitchen trying to make sure that they had enough guards to escort Harry to the Hogwarts Express. Tonks was already there, but Lupin wasn't able to make it and Sturgis Podmore had not been heard from. Sirius decided to leave the house and accompany Harry in his dog form, much to Mrs. Weasley's displeasure.

 

As they all arrived at King's Cross Station, Harry's spirits were beginning to rise. He was happy to be heading back to Hogwarts. They boarded the train and Harry began looking for a compartment for them. Ron and Hermione looked a little bit uncomfortable for a minute before they informed Harry that they were required to sit in the Prefect's compartment. Harry waved them off and joined Ginny and Neville in a compartment. Sitting directly across from Harry was an odd Ravenclaw student that he hadn't ever met before. She had "straggly, waist-length, dirty blond hair, very pale eyebrows, and protuberant eyes that gave her a permanently surprised look." Ginny introduced her to Neville and Harry as Luna Lovegood. Luna did not even look up at them as Ginny spoke. Her gaze was fixed on a magazine that she was reading upside down called "The Quibbler".

 

As the train thundered away from King's Cross Station, Neville showed Harry and Ginny a birthday present he had received. It was a weird gray plant covered with boils that sort of resembled a small cactus - Mimbulus Mimbletonia. Neville explained to them that the plant had an incredible defensive mechanism. He poked one of the boils and it exploded sending thick, stinking, dark green jets of liquid all over the compartment and its inhabitants.

 

Just then the compartment door slid open and Cho Chang stepped inside. Covered in stink sap Harry tried to smile at her and said "Oh... hi." Cho looked at him sort of awkwardly and replied "Well..just thought I'd say hello.. bye then" before she turned back around and closed the compartment door. Ginny cleaned the stink sap off of everything.

 

After another hour, Ron and Hermione appeared at last with news about the Prefects from the other three houses. Harry was disgusted when he heard that Malfoy had of course been made a Slytherin Prefect along with the cow Pansy Parkinson. Ron was sure that Malfoy would abuse his new authority as well. Ron made a joke about Malfoy and Luna Lovegood let out an incredibly loud laugh which sort of made everyone else feel uncomfortable. She put down the magazine that she was reading in her hysterical mirth. Harry got a good look at the paper for the first time. It contained an article about Sirius Black claiming that he must be innocent because he was actually the lead singer of the singing group the Hobgoblins. The Quibbler also claimed that Fudge had ordered goblins to be baked into pies.

 

"Everyone knows that The Quibbler is rubbish," Hermione told Harry as he stared at a Quidditch article.

 

"Excuse me," Luna cut in. "My father happens to be the editor."

 

Hermione was clearly mortified. The compartment door slid open again and this time Draco Malfoy and his cronies, Crabbe and Goyle, entered. Malfoy looked at Harry and smirked. "Manners, Potter, or I'll have to give you a detention. You see, I, unlike you, have been made a prefect, which means that I, unlike you, have the power to hand out punishments. You better just watch yourself, Potter, because I'll be dogging your footsteps in case you step out of line." It was subtle but Harry picked up on the emphasis Malfoy used on the word dogging. He was suddenly very worried that Malfoy had recognized Sirius in his dog form. 

 

The train finally began slowing down as it pulled into the Hogsmeade Station. As Harry climbed down onto the platform he expected to be greeted by Hagrid since he always collected the first years. However, instead of Hagrid, the substitute Care of Magical Creatures professor, Professor Grubbly-Plank arrived to collect them. As Harry tuned toward the Hogwarts carriages he was greeted by another surprise. The carriages were hitched to large, black, skeletal horses with giant bat-like wings. Harry had always assumed that the carriages were horseless. It appeared that he was the ony one that could see them though. One of the giant creatures stared Ron straight in the face and he didn't notice.

 

Luna stopped next to Harry as everyone else climbed into a carriage. "I've been able to see them since my first day here. They've always pulled the carriages. Don't worry, you're just as sane as I am." For some reason Harry did not find this statement to be comforting.

 

Remus Lupin (iSocialism), an Order of the Phoenix Jack-of-All-Trades, was supposed to escort Harry to King's Cross Station on day 3.

The carriages came to a halt right outside the Hogwarts front door and everyone climbed out and headed toward the Great Hall for the welcome feast. Harry, Ron, and Hermione made their way to the Gryffindor table and sat down. Ginny noted that Hagrid was not anywhere to seen at the staff table and there was a new witch sitting there as well. The witch looked like somebody's maiden aunt: squat, with short, curtly, mouse-bown hair and a pallid, toadlike face. It was that bitch witch, Umbridge, from Harry's hearing who had laughed at Dumbledore for implying that someone in the Ministry could have ordered the dementors to attack Harry.

 

Once everyone had found their seats Professor McGonagall led the first years to the front of the hall and lined them up in front of the Sorting Hat. The Sorting Hat sprang to life and started singing. It's song was different this year. Usually the hat would sing about the four Hogwarts houses and their defining attributes but this year it's tone was very different. The hat was warning the students:

 

"For our Hogwarts is in danger,

From external, deadly foes,

And we must unite inside her,

Or we'll crumble from within"

 

After the first years were sorted, Nearly Headless Nick told Harry, Ron, and Hermione that he had heard the Sorting Hat give warnings in the past. They would usually come when the Sorting Hat had detected periods of great danger to Hogwarts. It's advice was always to stand together and to be strong from within.

 

Dumbledore stood up from the staff table and made his way to the podium to give the usual beginning of term announcements. He announced that Professor Grubbly-Plank would be taking over Care of Magical Creatures and that Professor Umbridge would be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Professor Umbridge cleared her throat and interrupted Professor Dumbledore. She stood up and slowly paced in front of the staff table as she delivered an incredibly long and boring speech that everyone tuned out.. everyone except Hermione who had a disgusted look on her face.

 

"You heard what she said, didn't you?" she asked Harry and Ron who shook their heads.

 

"Progress for Progress's sake must be discouraged. And pruning wherever we find practices that ought to be prohibited."

 

"What does it mean?" Ron asked her.

 

"It means that the Ministry will be interfering at Hogwarts."

 

As Harry walked out of the Great Hall after dinner he realized that more people were staring at him than usual. People were curious of course about the events that had happened a few short months ago during the last event of the Triwizard Tournament. Harry had emerged from the hedge maze with a dead Cedric Diggory claiming that he had been murdered by Voldemort.

 

Harry and Ron made their way back to Gryffindor Tower, crossed the Common Room, and climbed the stairs to their dormitory. Dean, Neville, and Seamus were already there unloading their trunks. Harry and Ron began doing the same.

 

"So my mum didn't want me to come back to Hogwarts this year," Seamus told them all.

 

"Why not?" Harry asked.

 

"Uhh.. because of you," Seamus responded with a growl. "The Daily Prophet's been saying a lot about you Harry."

 

Harry's blood pressure began to rise as his anger level increased. "And you believe it?" Harry asked.

 

"Look.. what did happen.. that night when.. you know, when.. with Cedric Diggory and all?"

 

"What are you asking me for?" Harry barked back at him. "Why don't you just read the Daily Prophet like you mother. That'll tell you all that you need to know."
 

"I don't want to share a dormitory with him anymore" Seamus shouted pointing at Harry. "He's mad!"

 

Ron stood up between Harry and Seamus and ordered Seamus to stand down.

 

"You believe the rubbish that him and Dumbledore have come out with about You-Know-Who?" Seamus said to Ron.

 

"Yeah, I do. Does anybody else have a problem with Harry?"

 

Neville piped up. "My Gran's always said that Voldemort would come back one day. She says if Dumbledore says he's back, he's back." Harry was happy to hear that at least one other person in the wizarding world believed him. He climbed into his bed and pulled the curtains shut around him and laid there worrying about his argument with Seamus. How many others thought he was crazy?

 

 

Sirius Black (Sister Midnight), an Order of the Phoenix 2-Shot Commuter, has been killed on night 3.
