Do you guys want a live draft or autopick? If live, then which date.

Just to note: if someone doesn't attend the live draft, it does autopick for them.

I am not a fan of autopick. 

Well if autopick does happen then iSoc need not worry and just adjust pre draft rankings.

 

Also can any1 make a countdown timer to the draft.

Autopick drafts are interesting because everything is completely random but they are also less fun because players are generally less interested in a team that they didn't draft.

 

We could do an offline draft and just take turns picking in a dedicated draft thread here. It would take some time but it could be done. That will require Rafay to manually enter the teams though of course.

I have setup the pre draft rank things just don't know to make it not draft a whole bunch of one position.

I've asked you guys to invite friends from IRON or non-IRON spheres. Anyway, I've arranged for a friend to be the 10th man if no one joins.

Oh okay so we just wait until it's our turn, however long that takes

We have 17 days to pick 17 players each.

One per day wouldn't seem too hard, except that we have to go in order.

I propose a 12-hour time limit for each pick.

If 12 hours expires, then the highest-ranked player for which there is an opening on the team is assigned and we move on.

 

To speed things up, we can post conditional picks ahead of our turn.  

For instance, I post that I want the first available from this list of players:

1. David Johnson

2. LeVeon Bell

3. Antonio Brown

4. Odell Beckham Jr

 

When it's my turn, just make my choice for me and move on.

If u miss your pick after 12 hours it should work just like auto draft. So if u don't have your own draft board the highest Yahoo player is picked.

Also, just to confirm ... the draft order should be a snake draft.

 

Player 1 to 10 pick and then player 10 picks again and it goes backward until Player 1 gets the 20th overall pick.

 

The image posted by Rafay shows 1 to 10 repeating.

I agree with everything Kevin said, and also like a preference list.

I propose using Average Draft Position as the rank we use for the "autopick".

Yahoo "rank" lists 18 quarterbacks first and puts Eli Manning at #18 just before David Johnson at #19.

ADP puts David Johnson at  #1 and Eli Manning at #124.
