What are you implying here? Do you know that he has a role?

 

​At the start of D2 SLMK posted flavor text which seemed almost to hint at actions during the night and SLMK confirmed that indeed they did mean something. In the story Robert got blocked by a crowd so we all think he was roleblocked.

If you're implying what I think you are, it might be a good idea for a role cop to investigate you to verify if you live through the day. That said, it doesn't clear you (or Lego) and the role I'm thinking you're talking about could actually be quite dangerous in scum hands.

True. I've been watching Lego tho and I think he's probably legit. 70/30 might be a tad optimistic but he is definitely one of my top town candidates. 

And although I'd prefer to not be lynched, if it'll help town we can lynch me then you'll know me and everything I've said is legit. Anyway we got over 3 days to think about it. Hope to hear from more people soon.

My thoughts on everyone so far;

​iSocialism: His ignorance on the Frigid investigation slip makes him seem a bit more townie to me. He could've feigned ignorance to appear that way but.. scum doesn't often think up such creative little details. If he's just being a lazy player, which seems quite possible, it would help to explain his lack of offense/scum hunting. It is somewhat uncommon for scum to be so bold as to hammer a town too. That being said he is experienced and these things could be great scum plays because we would not expect it from scum. So he could still be scum but overall probability is he's not. Just a lazy town whose style clashes with mine. (to be fair I'm somewhat lazy too but I mean, damn iSoc. Real lazy bruh)

​The Warrior: I am glad he went on offense and would give him a lot of townie points but as I said earlier it seemed too over-zealous to me. Before he's been like "Yeah that seems suspicious but doesn't necessarily mean they're scum" but tried super hard to paint me as scum using little manipulative suggestions and implications. Which to me is VERY suspicious since I know I'm not scum. Other people don't know that so you're less sure what to think. If I do die tho you'll see I am town and you should be extremely cautious & wary of TW. If he is scum, he could be a hella dangerous one with his experience and talent.

​Brewers: With how much he posts if he were scum I feel like we would've noticed more odd things by now. Lean town towards him but still not sure.

​Rafay: Being quiet for Rafay is usual. For a couple games we were lynching him for lack of posts. He started to speak up a bit more but he's been extremely quiet again. Not much to go on because of that. I get a tad bit of a scum vibe from him tho. 45/55 on him being town.

​Frigid: People are his case now thinking he's trying to save me and we might be scum partners. I know this isn't true so I'm sure it's just another noob mistake by Frigid. Leaning towards him being town. If he is scum Lachiton (and me, from yalls perspective) will still need to be looked at closely despite Lach trying to create some distance now. 

​SBG: Uncharacteristly quiet. Made some claim that he's been busy. Very little to go on. 50/50 on him.

​Lachiton: Done nothing real scummy that I recall. How quick he tries to back away from Frigid is a bit odd. Not sure what to think about him. 50/50

​KevinH: I am worried a bit KevinH is trying to latch onto me and is really scum. But we all know how he feels about D1 lynching and so it kinda makes sense for him to support my decision to no lynch D1 and join me against iSoc. From what I know of his playstyle he basically tries to develope logical/math strategies and sticks to them. Doesn't play off speculation much so again, kinda makes since he'd follow one of the few facts we know and go after GoldIron lynchers. 49/51 on him. Because he scares me. 

​vgmmaster: Made one or two slightly suspicious comments. Like in D1 when he was so quick to know Mafia had day talk. Mafia would be more aware of that but an active & dedicated town could too. Rather quiet lately but claims there was a death of someone close to him and he's been busy. I doubt he'd lie about something like that so I'll give the benefit of the doubt. (and sorry for your loss, VGM)

Not sure how you can categorize me as maybe scum but Frigid as probably town. If Frigid is town then he is the one who cleared me, so I have to be town. 

If you think I am scum because I tried to distance myself from Frigid then you're on the wrong track. My reason is I am not entirely convinced Frigid is town, based on his swing posts which goes from town to scum in matter of minutes. But he is right about one thing that I am town, so not sure whether it was a genuine town investigation or a scum cop trying to associate with town. I dont have any strong convictions yet to go hard on him as he RCed cop and I agree with lego that unless we have irrefutable evidence, we shouldn't hunt him down.

Also it seems Rafay is doing some token posting and ignored my vote on him. I am not removing my vote on him. He did same token posting last mafia game and he turned out scum.

I like what you are doing: you are looking not for an easy lynch but a high info lynch which is how we ultimately won on another site.
Of course seeing you are a PR apparently, you may also be lynched and we do not likely have a doctor.

if the roleblocker is scum, frigid will be rb'd.  can keep him alive then and neutralize his power to find the scum 

if the rb is town, you should probably avoid rb'ing frigid, since he does seem most likely to be a town cop.

Frigid: continues joking throughout day 2. Nothing much of substance. Looking more new!town to me. Maintains a FOS on me, and I don't get his reasoning for it. He's only really pushed on me AFAIK. Being a new player to Mafia, he might have done the risky accidental RC? But I'm definitely not lynching a semi-claimed cop. If he is scum, Lach is more likely to be scum.

 

Lachiton: appears towny, depends on Frigid's flip.

Basically, either lach is legit innocent and has been cleared by frigid, or lach is scum, and they developed the accidental PM as a ploy to make people think lach is inno.

null read. He justifies his GoldIron vote well. But what I'm wondering is should town justify themselves? When I play town, I just post what I think and do what I think is working towards wincon, and who cares what people think. But remember what brewers said:

You didnt get to pick the roles, so it was randomly picked for you.  So that means either TW is playing dumb about this or he didnt get a power role, because if he did get a power role he would have known they were random and not a choice...  I think TW was playing dumb about not knowing how the power roles are asinged, and he has a killing power role and is indeed scum, thus trying to throw us off his scent. ... and just to add on to that.  Maybe TW was roleblocked, and wants the town to think the roles were chosen and not random, so if a rb was picked it would have to be scum since town would have picked doctor (according to TW) , even tho we have a town rb, so if the role cop hits the roleblocker, TW is hoping that they will have fallen for his trap and assume the rb is scum

Also his post: I find this very defensive, could be WIFOM defense? 

 

since you are apparently certain that either Robert or myself are scum, why don't you carefully consider exactly what we would have gained from killing him. I cannot speak for Robert because I have no idea what he is but how does it make sense that we would gain anything from killing KitKat? Kitkat drew attention to himself with his joke post. The fact that my name was mentioned was insignificant to anyone who actually knows Kitkat's playing style. The only people who actually considered him serious were players unfamiliar with his game. Even if I was a scum that was somehow outed by a joking KitKat (I'm not), there wasn't any actually serious consideration pointed my way from it. I wouldn't have been in any real danger of being lynched and therefore the scum choosing to kill kitkat would do nothing but bring real attention to me when there wasn't any previously. It would be a stupid play to make.

 

And look at what actually happened? KitKat was killed and look who had the finger falsely pointed at him? Me. Do you not see how that was set up?

 

 

Either scum or a VT IMO.

He hammered a town which would be somewhat bold for a scum but I find it rather likely scum could think they could get away with it in this case.
