I can make a case that the vigilante should shoot early and often, too. There won't be more information in later days so might as well shoot now and hope for the best.

thats not true,  we will have wagons to analyze and peoples comments to help make educated shots.  shooting early would be reckless

With 12 alive it takes 7 to lynch or 4 at deadline.

Deadline is December 3rd and 2:00pm CST

Q: What do you call a potato with right angles?

A: A square root.

You can't easily play the odd/even lynch/no-lynch game here. The Jailkeeper can prevent a kill and the Vigilante can deliver an extra kill.

We need to lynch and get lucky.

I can make a case that the vigilante should shoot early and often, too. There won't be more information in later days so might as well shoot now and hope for the best.

well. I doubt the vig is shooting n1. That worked well for rafay last game.

hopefully whomever is vig can avoid being trigger happy. unless they are extremely confident they are shooting a scum player, they should not fire blindly into the town.

Reading Velocity response I'm inclined to unvote. He seems more like a person fighting to be active and made a mistake than a scum getting caught.

UNVOTE

@Lord MK

Do you have a specific reason for voting Velocity after his explanation or did it seem like since he was willing to accept being lynched as a result of jumping on a wagon fast you seen an easy target? Interested to hear your specific reasoning.

Also agreed we cant no lynch today. Too many variables play against our favor and into scums if we no lynch

My mistake. MK voted BEFORE the explanation. Ignore my last message

In regards to Lachiton, when MK placed his vote on Velocity do you believe Velocity was not coming on scum to warrant that vote? If MK believes his vote should stay, I like to hear why. If he wants to remove it, I'd like to hear who he suspects. However its D1 with no info to go off of. MK jumping around is typical for players at this point and do you have a reason further for suspecting MK as scum?

- everyone not voting...why.

Why am I not voting? I'm still getting reads, trying to determine who, of those I have got some good reads on, seems the scummiest to me, and then I'll vote. Even though D1 is random, it doesn't have to be all bandwagons and vote hopping.

I have not yet re-cast my vote yet either because I don't have a strong negative feeling on anyone.

I would prefer if our Vig did not shoot on night 1, especially since we are mostly in agreement that we should lynch on night 1. We don't need to start day 2 down by three townies (1 Lynched, 1 Vig killed, 1 scum killed) assuming we do not prevent a kill. We may not have any traditional investigation roles to guide future shots but our jailkeeper could help give some guidance if he gets lucky with a block on a night without a kill.

Seems too eager.

Fuck yes, im in first place!

Wrong competition to be first in. Lets talk about your position in IFFL. :P  :P

hey im not in last place, so I have that going for me

Same as TW, I haven’t switched my vote yet because I’ve had nothing on anybody to vote for them for, so recasting my vote wouldn’t do much considering I have nothing on anybody that would help me decide, and like others who aren’t voting or have yet to switch it, they’re just trying to get a read on people. So I guess I’ll unvote just to have my vote freed, so the day doesn’t end if everybody else votes like at once and we need time. So that being said,

UNVOTE

With that, I do have my own reads on people, but to me right now, nobody really stands out as being scum, everybody is just kind of in the middle about it.

Lachiton is currently tied for the fewest posts (6) and two of his posts have been:

First

and

Vote: Brewers. Yeah no explanation needed.

I assume the second one was a lulz vote but for now I'm going to:

Vote: Lachiton

He did sort of defend Kevin when he was "attacked" for voting to lynch today (for good reason) so that's a point in his favor at least. I'd like to see more from Lach though.

Most of us are at single post difference and I can surely get a fluff post or two out of all of them like u did with mine.

Lulz vote aside my votes on iSoc and MK were serious. I guess putting all my thoughts in one post affects adversely my post count. So I guess I will break it down into multiple posts :P

everyone is mixing it up!  Rafay is not rafay.  Velocity voted.  KevinH suggested a lynch and in every game i can remember, every time TW votes on someone cause of inactivity he un votes, then this time lachiton posts and he keeps it on lachiton.

all thats left is for me to go inactive

Q: Why aren’t potatoes able to get out and work?
A: Because they’re couch potatoes

I'm not necessarily in favor of the vigilante taking a random shot, but consider:

We'll lynch somebody and it will probably be a townie.
The mafia will kill a townie unless the jailkeeper is successful.

Each of those kills stand a chance to take out a townie power role.

Day 2 and Night 2 it's the same thing.

At what point should the vigilante take a shot and hope to get lucky?

The problem is with everyone under suspicion you cant get a full read, I think a few are waiting till night to see what goes down that way they can see who voted where and on who, thats one of the main reasons i voted no lynch in other games.

Not voting isnt a problem if you have no one to acctually vote for

Scum would want jailor dead and town would want the role cop dead, that's stating the obvious. Whether vig takes his chances first night really depends on how much convinced he is to shoot his suspect and hope for the best. That's why voting is so important and no Lynch will be a waste of an opportunity. Yes we will perhaps Lynch a townie, but the vig and the jailor can get some important information based on who were on the wagon and who stayed out of it. We have to give them something to go off on.
