Some angry people took an hour and crashed the people's house to break some glass. It appears that some other angry people want to equate that with a year of destruction and murder that took place in just about every major city in the USA. It still continues to this very day. Before the election, every major city in the USA boarded up their business fronts to mitigate the damage out of fear of the outcome of that election. They voted for Donald Trump, and they feared what those idiots would do to them after his reelection.

 

Even on the other side of the world, a blind man could see who the aggressors are.

The BLM protests, which escalated to riots in many cases (for various reasons), were about police killings of black Americans on a disproportionate scale which has been getting swept under the rug for years. You need no better proof of the disproportionate scale with which this country reacts to its black citizens then the Capitol insurrection. BLM protests in DC were met with an army of riot police and national guard. They knew the insurrection was going to happen that day, they had plenty of warning, and they chose not to deploy anything near enough forces to deal with it. Instead there is video of evidence of far too few capitol police having to abandon positions in the face of the mob advancing on them. 

 

Also a little food for thought about the members of congress as well as Trump who inspired the insurrection with their words and actions.

You want to walk the street with a sign, or hold a rally to voice a cause... that's cool.

 

You want to block streets, paint the walls, tear down monuments, break glass, loot stores, burn cars and buildings, beat, torment, and kill people... you should be put down by any means necessary.

 

I don't care what color you are... you want to be a criminal, the police are taking you to jail.

If you do not comply, you are asking them to harm you, and even kill you. I'm not happy at all about how any of this has been handled.

I don't agree with many of the things that happened during the BLM protests. However just saying that if you don't comply you are asking them to potentially kill you doesn't mesh with our countries history. There are plenty of examples of black people complying and ending up dead anyway. In which case the incidents become fight for flight for many black Americans.

 

Perhaps I was mistaken because you mentioned it in vague terms, but my understanding was that you were belittling the significance of what happened in the Capitol by comparing its duration with the BLM protests. That or that you were just throwing out randomly that some people are doing that.

Police kill people all the time. They carry guns because they are charged to confront the most dangerous people that breathe air. The fashionable thing to do these days is video everything, and then post an edited version of events to spark the most outrage. Post up the right video so we get a crowd of screaming, crying black people to make a martyr out of a criminal. Then all the criminals get to use it as an excuse to destroy lives. They should be shot in the face. Democrats used it to destabilize the country... because they hate Trump.

 

So yeah... I'm numb about the outrage over the Capitol crash... after seeing what they did to the entire country this past year.

This is why ANTIFA and BLM don't come to the suburbs. They know they can get away with burning businesses in Democrat run cities.

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding going on there but your mind is made up and that isn't the topic at hand so there's no sense trying to rehash.

 

I'd say the biggest difference was that there was a literal stated intent of overthrowing the lawfully elected government of the country (literally hang elected officials they didn't agree with including pence).

That sounds over the top, but the way DC is acting this week, they do appear to be a little bit unsure of their own position. They call the National Guard in to protect them, but now they're not sure the National Guard are really there to protect them. Nobody cares about this inauguration, and the left loves the political attention they get from the abhorrent practice of selective outrage. *yawn*

Naturally after the last 4 years of blissful bipartisan cooperation... it's just selfish Republican arrogance that deprive the USA from the bounty of an everlasting socialist utopia. Not "decrying" anything. Congress has been at total war since Ronald Reagan. It's delusional to believe it will get better. We can only hope for civility. The one thing that has not changed is the Belgian vote. It's still as irrelevant as it always has been.

If you are asking me if I believe the election was rigged... yes, I believe it was. I would like to see an audit so it doesn't happen again, but we can't even get any of the people that framed the president a harsher punishment than probation, so I don't believe we'll be auditing anything. I will be doing the same thing I did under Obama... say no to everything. That is the most civil I can be. Democrats always overreach... they're overreaching now. The cycle continues.

It's amazing that a lone internet troll from Belgium knows more about Q-Anon... what they believe... how they feel... than I know about them myself, and I live here.

 

Me, my wife, all my children, everyone else I know, and about 70 million other American Citizens, believe the election was rigged... so according to your vast understanding of Americans, we're all followers of Q-Anon. It's just a big massive mega-cult? It's not important for us to audit our election? I don't know for sure, but I don't think boxing people up into Q-Anon is the best way to deal with it.

Not all Trump voters belief in that rigging, but you certainly seem to do. Of the few places that did get an audit (btw, Georgia got auditted twice!), nothing earth-moving was found, atleast for the Presidential election. The only wishy-wasy one is the NY 22nd district US House election, whic isn't yet been called last I checked.
