It was quiet that night in Arcanus, as usual. It was around midnight, and most everyone was in bed asleep, or getting ready to go to sleep. Suddenly, powerful explosions rocked the town. Puzzled, afraid, and intrigued, the townsfolk got out of bed to investigate. They found the fields of Farmer Joe scorched badly, and here and there it looked as though there had been an explosion. Talking amongst themselves and putting tow and tow together, they soon realized that these were no ordinary explosions; they were caused by magic. Everyone headed back to their homes in fear and awe wondering what would happen next...

i dont know what the success rate for a self protect is, it was never mentioned in the pm, all it said was i had the ability to protect others or if i choose myself, i'm assuming its a random chance of success or failure

 

If it doesn't have % indicated...then I would assume it would be 100%.

I don't think I've ever seen it happen before. A doc who can protect himself is very overpowered.

Unanswered question for AoD. Also, it's a misrep when you say that I'm pushing for your lynch. I gave you the benefit of the doubt when you hinted at a power role by unvoting you but you role claiming as the doc was too incredulous that's why I switched back.

a doc who has the ability to protect himself and who votes for himself when pressure is turned on him?? now this really starts looking scummy... i really don't believe your claim now...

 

also, for the half majority lynch, truth is that in the last days of the "day", activity increases in any game. so the question would have been asked, answered and, then, he could have role claimed when it was absolutely necessary. i don't think a doctor would have role claimed so early in the day.

then like i said, lynch me and go from there. if my death shows who is scum and helps the town win then i'm for it

I was sticking up for AoD up until he said he could protect himself. I've played a lot of mafia games, Mole's played a lot of mafia games, CD's played a lot of mafia games and no one has ever heard of a self protecting doctor before. This makes me think that AoD is lying about his power role and is most likely scum. The only thing that has me wondering is why he voted for himself. It seems like he jumped the gun on the role claim when he felt the pressure, so it's likely that his self vote is a last ditch effort to save his own skin.

True...it does say that.

Also since Narsis is modding the game, I don't know if he threw in a twist or not (ie. talking after majority lynch is made but before death scene). His modding style and games are different than moles (ie. his Streets of Detroit game).
