Another day, another plane. Captain "Anger-Management" Tilden (As he was known secretly by the crew) had always been proud of how he handled the flights on his plane. Always smooth, orderly, and comfortable for the passengers. And he intended to keep it that way, he reflected, carrying his bags through the airport terminal. Today's flight was to be a tedious one over the atlantic. But never mind.

 

Got to keep alert, he mused as his bags went through a scanner. Terrorists were everywhere these days. The takeoff was, as always, impeccable. The passengers seemed fairly happy, apart from that hungover one complaining about the lack of painkillers, and Tilden settled himself down for a smooth flight.

 

A few hours into the flight, the door to the cockpit was nudged open, breaking the silence. Tilden stiffened. It was probably that flight attendant. It was no secret amongst the crew that Tilden had a thing for her. But he didn't care. He wasn't about to ruin his chances by shouting again.

"Ah, Marie, could you-"

 

That was as far as he got. Looking at the reflection in the window, he saw a man in plain clothes. A passenger? He was striding up to Tilden with purpose. Tilden's eyes widened as he saw the flash of a blade. He opened his mouth to speak, but couldn't. A knife was swiftly drawn across his throat. He choked, swiftly passing into unconsciousness.

 

And yet no-one noticed the 2 dead pilots in the cockpit. Marie, the flight attendant, was about halfway through serving drinks. She glanced to the left, flashed a fake smile to the passenger before seeing he was unconscious.

She sighed, and rolled her eyes, recognising the passenger as the one with the hangover. She was about to turn away, when something caught her eye. Had he spilt coffee on himself? She sighed again, reaching for some napkins.

 

Wait. That wasn't coffee.

She screamed, noticing the blood spread out over the man's torso. The passenger's heads turned round to look at her. The man's pocket identified him as a Police officer.

 

It was happening again...

Finally, we have much worse odds of finding the scum if a nightkill happens (assuming that one scum will be in the room with 4 players).

@Electric Mango: Seeing as you're becoming our non-mod resident list maker, would you mind being in charge of keeping record of who has picked what room and our order going? If not I'd do it although I can't guarantee any timeliness. Otherwise CannucksDynasty would also be a good record keeper in my opinion.

 

Do people think we should choose room assignments and then start thinking about who to lynch? If we've got that info before those debates really open we'd have even more info to work with. I'm sure we've all thought about possible scum targets but, if we silence the majority of that debate until after we get room assignments in we'd have a better shot at nabbing a scum on D1. Sounds smart to me. What do people think of this?

Yeah that would be a good idea Aquinas. Since we're all choosing our room assignments before the 48 hour period, we should also do it before we lynch. So we can have a slightly better educated guess as to who could be scum based on their choices.

 

Also, the room numbers. Is it 1,4,7,8 and 2,3,6,9? I assume yes because that is the most strategic separation. What do we use for D1 and D2?

Haven't finish reading everything yet, I am new. This is my first game, but I am pro list and pro lynch because that are the best chance we got.

I believe, even if there is a cop here, he/she would be pro lynch too! Certainly would not support no lynch because lynching could get a lucky kill and at worse lower the number of suspect. Yeah, the chances of killing a townie is greater then that of a mafia, but the longer we wait, the more night kills they get. The number will end up about the same, the differecen is that we will be the only ones taking the losts!! (I am assuming that is more than 1 mafia here) If there is only one then, we definitely need to lynch!

 

So, thats is my logic.

 

vote: Sir Jesus. because he is for no lynch, he could be a mafia or not but definitely not a cop, or a smart cop...any way. His chances of being a mafia is 50/50 and less than 50 for being a cop, I think. (assuming my logic is sounded)

This whole self-selection thing is retarded. We are letting the mafia choose who they occupy a room with. Of course, we can choose who we are around too, but we know nothing about them. However, the mafia knows who is who, and can spread themselves throughout the plane for maximum effect.

 

I can't believe we are letting people choose rather than doing this randomly. This is absolutely ridiculous, we are lynching on D1 and we are giving people free choice in their placement within the plane ..... Jesus Christ ... we are removing half the benefits that this game-style sets up. Instead of deriving information from plane geography, we are going to (most likely) lynch a townie randomly to try and draw patterns from it. This (D1 lynching) is what should be done normally, but this game offers so much more information that we can manipulate than this.

 

 

And the accusation against me is absolutely ridiculous... Your logic is there is a 50/50 chance I'm mafia and less than 50% chance that I'm the cop. I would vote to eliminate you if I didn't think you were a pro-town role.
