Another day, another plane. Captain "Anger-Management" Tilden (As he was known secretly by the crew) had always been proud of how he handled the flights on his plane. Always smooth, orderly, and comfortable for the passengers. And he intended to keep it that way, he reflected, carrying his bags through the airport terminal. Today's flight was to be a tedious one over the atlantic. But never mind.

 

Got to keep alert, he mused as his bags went through a scanner. Terrorists were everywhere these days. The takeoff was, as always, impeccable. The passengers seemed fairly happy, apart from that hungover one complaining about the lack of painkillers, and Tilden settled himself down for a smooth flight.

 

A few hours into the flight, the door to the cockpit was nudged open, breaking the silence. Tilden stiffened. It was probably that flight attendant. It was no secret amongst the crew that Tilden had a thing for her. But he didn't care. He wasn't about to ruin his chances by shouting again.

"Ah, Marie, could you-"

 

That was as far as he got. Looking at the reflection in the window, he saw a man in plain clothes. A passenger? He was striding up to Tilden with purpose. Tilden's eyes widened as he saw the flash of a blade. He opened his mouth to speak, but couldn't. A knife was swiftly drawn across his throat. He choked, swiftly passing into unconsciousness.

 

And yet no-one noticed the 2 dead pilots in the cockpit. Marie, the flight attendant, was about halfway through serving drinks. She glanced to the left, flashed a fake smile to the passenger before seeing he was unconscious.

She sighed, and rolled her eyes, recognising the passenger as the one with the hangover. She was about to turn away, when something caught her eye. Had he spilt coffee on himself? She sighed again, reaching for some napkins.

 

Wait. That wasn't coffee.

She screamed, noticing the blood spread out over the man's torso. The passenger's heads turned round to look at her. The man's pocket identified him as a Police officer.

 

It was happening again...

It's all WIFOM really. The point is, in a game like this, why even think there is an SK? There is a reason people raise a possibility when the possibility is so remote. And I just happen to think you or Kazio could have raised that possibility to mislead town. That's all.

 

I only raised that at the beginning of the game when I noticed what I quoted in my post. So I don't see how that could mislead the town since we even haven't started scum hunting in page 1. I only raised it again when you asked junkahoolik where he got the idea of an SK.

First, your rambling posts tend to make me think of someone who has been drinking minus the slurring. As to why it's important to be linked with AoD is that it would indicate an assigned role.

 

I never did ask you why you chose me the last time time around.

First due to the erratic and anti-town stance you had D1, second due to the same from AoD. Again the importance to linking you to AoD's behavior is your assigned role, if you truly are scum then the patterns the person you replaced displayed are just as relevent to you as your own posts.

Alright, although I haven't been around to share it lately, my suspicions are still the same.

 

SinKon is still out there and his posts are now directly pointing us to change topics from scum hunting at #768. While this was a good idea on D1 I think without knowledge of the mechanics there is not much we can do but pray. I'll say we stick the the plan for consistency sake. Anyway, I think this is much less important now and not nearly as useful of a discussion.

 

While his posts put a bad taste in my mouth I am more concerned about Junkahoolik who I put an FOS on a while back. At the beginning of day 1 Junkahoolik seemed to me to be on with a no lynch strategy. While I wouldn't vote for a player based on their strategy options unless they were so violently off base it was necessary, your inconsistency with that strategy concerns me. You are now voting for Falzis for your reasons presented at #774. You seem to me to be uncommitted to any sort of strategy now, and that bothers me. If you think/thought a night kill is/was a good strategy it seems like it didn't take much to drop you of those convictions. Your reasoning here is weak. I think Falzis has a stronger point here. There are few ways to hide, one of them being showing concern with the serial killer early to distract suspicion later. Their strongest weapon to hide is to be able to say wasn't me. As pointed out elsewhere, there is never much "Serial Killer hunting" so as long as they can show that it isn't obviously them they should be in the clear. The best way of doing this is to be a anti-SK proponent early.

Aquinas, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to find out who you're talking about. If you think you really know who the cop is then you're not doing a very good job keeping their identity a secret. There's only two people that could have investigated junkahoolik night 1 and only one of those two voted for him. I'm having a hard time figuring out why you would claim to know who the cop is and then throw them under the bus like you did.
