oh, the first strategy i layed out implies the cop roleclaiming. the 2nd does not.

you actually quoted it...

if we use the 4 separate rooms for spreading and forget about the rest, sure, we will lose the leads, but then the list of possible targets would be shrunk down to 2 people one of which would be scum the other probably townie. also, scum would probably not move in a 2 man compartment and perform a nk there since then they would paint a sure target on their back. i'd say we go for a lynch today and use the later strategy.

So basically you are also saying we should move into 4 separate rooms that are not adjacent to each other.

if we choose your scenario...then we will find one mafia via the cop. however, if we don't and follow the original idea, we could easily find all the mafia via the cop. sure we might find none, but i'll take a chance at 3 or 4 and risk getting nothing then get a guaranteed 1.

basically: cop role claiming is a bad idea unless necessary.

Game mechanic rules don't state a limit on the number of people in any room at night.

If we are in agreement with the described plan of 4 separate non-adjacent rooms...

Perhaps we should sort out the seating arrangements (I just did this by the numbering system)...

Although this removes choice...it removes it for everyone.
It's possible that 2 mafia may end up in one room.
Whereas if mafia had a choice...they would probably want to spread out and not be clustered in one room.

bad idea imo. i think we should let people choose which of the 4 sections they go to, of course limiting them by the max for each section. this allows us to watch and see who is going where and with who. is it a late choice? what motives would they have for going in that section? particularly, if someone dies in that section and they live does this make them any more suspect?

essentially we are giving up some information.

bad idea imo. i think we should let people choose which of the 4 sections they go to, of course limiting them by the max for each section. this allows us to watch and see who is going where and with who. is it a late choice? what motives would they have for going in that section? particularly, if someone dies in that section and they live does this make them any more suspect?

Technically the day portion has 3 weeks and a 72 hour prod rule. If someone hasn't checked in by Wednesday we may get replacements starting Sunday.

Otherwise I'd say people are busy, I'd worry if it were Friday and it stayed this quiet.
