Agreed. But I think in long-run, Iran will somehow get screwed. There's alot of lobby money involved and it's conditional on bending over for outside parties and wage a war on their behalf. You can always count on politicians to sell your best interests for the highest bid. Nukes are the only sure-shot way of making sure you don't get attacked by someone bigger and stronger than you. You develop the means to execute the MAD scenario if it comes to that and make them believe in those capabilities. A good deterrence always works. With the growing trend of illegal interventions, occupations and threats by global and regional hegemonies, it's imperative that the little guys develop the necessary means to defend themselves and there's only one sure thing that can do it, a nice little nuke with multi-platform capabilities based on land, sea, air and Space (coming soon?) to guarantee a MAD scenario. That is called deterrence and that is the name of the game. Do you mean to force a MAD scenario between Iran and similarly equipped nations, or between Iran and the US?

I image that these are just a handful of incidents that have happened over his two terms, but I also think they happened during other presidencies as well. Part of it is due to how fast information technology/social media has developed in just a few years (think Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). As the Chief Executive, I expect him to be held accountable for all the fuck ups our executive agencies commit, but I also know he is not a god and don't expect him to be able to run things 100% efficiently and effectively. Our Presidents probably knows a lot more than we will ever give them credit for (and I think Bush Jr was a certified dumb-ass), but they also don't know everything.

For a nation built by immigrants, they really hate immigrants. In my opinion, being foreign born does not make someone unfit to become president. But I certianly understand why we don't conduct an international search for the position Also, Catholicism does not encompass all of Christianity. Then again I may have missed some sarcasm in my hasty reading

Ah politics. The elections here in Georgia were interesting, I can see the strategy of turning us into a swing state taking shape. Nearly every urban center voted Democrat. Times' a changing. That said, I don't give a damn who takes office. Folks will find some way to blame the Oval Office for all everything wrong in their life. Stubbed my toe? Blame Obama! Lost the remote? Blame Bush! Idiocy.

Alright, that was damn funny. My 2 cents on this: The U.S. is one of most prepared to handle something like this (I live just around the corner from Emory, where they treated 2 other Ebola patients), so I'm confident it'll all be OK.

If you guys don't want them I'm sure we could use an American colony on that side of the Atlantic.
