Heh.. its been a long time since we have had this day 1 lynch vs no lynch debate. While, it can be argued that the day 1 lynch provides us voting patterns, I don't believe that they have any significance. The decisions made on day 1 are based on hunches and long shots. The only thing that we can be certain about at this time is that the scum know who they are and will try to get the town to lynch one of the townies. Statistically speaking there is 1 in 4 chance of lynching a scum, realistically, if the scum play it right, we will always end up with a townie getting lynched on day 1. I for one am not willing to lynch a townie on day 1. Now, if something significant was to be revealed, I might change my vote but at this time I will stick with no lynch.

I like early votes because it builds interest in the game and promotes discussion. I voted no lynch because its the first day and without anything to go on, we are more likely to lynch a townie.

Heh.. This is exactly what I was thinking. We were really lucky!! @ Imran, you could've arrived at the result by simple elimination. You guys were going to reach a point where everyone was investigated, a google search on the character names would have made me or Fernando the biggest suspect and once either of us was lynched, town would win the game. Now, I am not sure why you guys believed Athermonuke. In your night thread, everyone was certain that EM and Athermonuke were scum, so him defending EM shouldn't have made a difference. Heck, I tried making Karl look suspicious but I was pretty sure that Athermonuke and EM were going to be lynched. I don't think the game was unbalanced. Were we really lucky? Hell yeah.. Just look at how things tuned out 1) I found EM on day 1. If I had used my Shinigami eyes on Athermonuke, I would've killed him. Both events had equal chances of happening. 2) EM/Athermonuke didn't target Fernando on day 1. 3) Imran told everyone how his abilities worked. I don't think it was the wrong decision but its timing worked perfectly for me. 4) CoD never targeted EM. 5) CoD was invited to the night investigation thread rather than Karl or EM. 6) Rafay didn't investigate me/ EM/ Athermonuke. Damn.. that would have been bad. And the list goes on.. We were very lucky

I would like to think that there are more than one investigative roles in the game. My only concern is that with 2 people investigating every night, we must be really unlucky to not have even one scum found so far. Anyhow, it seems that there is only one person who has nobody to vouch for him atm. Vote:Karl
