  1. The only reason I didnt for you was because you pulled the stunt of voting for yourself. There is only 1 scum in the game and if scum gets lynched, the game is over. So it was either a case of scum Zacch giving up on winning the game or Town Zacch actually sacrificing himself for the townies benefit. Thats why I switched my vote to NE who was 2nd on my list. However it was clear later that it was not town Zacch sacrifing himself, as you almost immediately after my vote unvoted yourself and hammered NE. As COD also pointed out, there was also discussion about who the best option for D1 lynch will be (someone who had multiple investigation results on him). So the best lynch would have been either you or me. VGM did not seem inclined to vote for me and you didnt give a chance to COD to give his input before you hammered. So I am not sure where you are going with saying my vote was a convenient one, while yours were OK. About me avoiding VGMs result, there is a paranoid and an insane cop in the game. I knew VGM is probably insane as you had 2 scum result votes on you, which would mean the paranoid cop investigated you, not me, provided the scum wasnt fake claiming. At that point NE's claim of a guilty resulty on you also seemed like a scum claim to me. All 3 scenarios posted above are possible, based on the results but I think COD hit it right on the head: There's also Scenario 3: Chaplain (sane), NE (Paranoid), vgm (Insane), Imran (Naive) ........ Zacch (Scum) You seem to be copying my results and is now also claiming to be the Naive cop. I dont think COD is the scum. Any last words?
  2. By the way, please remember this is the final day. I would ask that you do not post a Vote on someone until everyone had a chance to post. Because if you are wrong with your vote, the scum will hammer and win the game.
  3. I have a pretty good idea who the scum is, but I want to hear the others results/claims before I post my analysis
  4. Kevin clarified that No lynch is not an option in this game. So it was not like time was runnng out and you had to rush a vote on NE to lynch him before COD had a chance to weigh in. Last night I investigated Zacch and I received the result Town. N0, I investigated COD -> received Town N1 I investigated Zacch -> received Town It is not possible that both of them are town, one of them is the scum. So I am not the Sane cop. Also I am not the insane cop or I would have received mafia result when I investigated the scum. Therefore I am the naive Cop.
  5. Well I am not sure what to make of that move from zacch voting for himself. Zacch and NE are both on my sus list but I am not sure a scum will put himself so close to lynching. I will go with NE and let cod decide. Vote Northen Empire
  6. I will post my general feelings (i) Zacch posted last after knowing everyones results. If he is scum he would claim an investigation result that would try to shift the suspicion to someone else (as he already knows he has 2 guilty results on him). As I already had a guilty result on me from VGM, it would not be a surprising move from him to claim the opposite result on me (if he's scum). (ii) I agree with VGM that NE's posts and actions have been a bit scummy. He comes off as a nooby to mafia games so that may be it or it can easily be that he is a nooby scum and who jumped on a second guilty vote on Zacch (who was inactive at that point) in trying to get a lynch. (iii) finally I wont count out VGM and COD to be non-scum just based on how early they voted. Both of them are experienced players and probably expert at manipulating townies. In any case, I know I am town so based on my N0 result I can say I am either Sane/Naive/Insane. If I am insane then COD is scum, if I am not insane COD is clear and one of Zacch/NE/VGM is scum. I feel one more nights results will make things a lot clearer.
  7. wow..I fail to check in for a day and the game has blown up. I will reveiew everyones posts and post my own analysis later when I have some time.
  8. Yeah we need to know what results zacch got on N0 before deciding on who to lynch
  9. She is saying what result she got from her investigation of me on N0. I investigated chaplain and got townie result.
  10. I was thinking along these lines as well, agreed. We need at least 2 investigations to know (kind of) what kind of cop we are. Interesting point raised by kevin as well, the goon will also probably claim cop, so it will be interesting to see how things go. 100%. We've all been able to eliminate one potential cop role from the four available for ourselves. Depending on the day / night, we'll be able to find out for sure if we are paranoid or naïve if applicable (and know our individual investigations are useless) or that we're sane or insane (but not necessarily which). In a perfect world, depending on who we've investigated, we'd figure it out exactly. If an investigation for a cop came up as town on night 0, that person is lynched day 1 and proven innocent, and then they get a guilty night 1, boom, we have our man and that cop is sane. The reverse is also true if the cop is insane. If her investigation says guilty on night 0, that person is lynched and they're town and then proceeds to get an innocent result for night 1, then once again, we have our man. With that said, if multiple of us have investigated the same person, that could pinpoint a potential good lynch target for day 1 provided no other useful information. And with day ones generally being the crapshoot that they are, it might not be a bad option. so can we talk amongst ourselves to decide on the lynch target or do we submit a independent vote? You can post your thoughts on who to lynch on Day 1 (D1) as there is no option for lynching "no one" in this game. You can also post about why you think the person you voted to be lynched should be voted by others as well. The more people post the easier it is to filter out the scum because they will try to lie low and not post something inadvertently that reveals he is scum.
  11. I can get behind this. Only problem I see with this is if we lynch someone based on the goon's claim, because he can then easily claim that someone else is guilty and get him lynched, and by that time game will be over.
  12. Nice to get a game starting off again! Interesting concept as well with all cops..havent played one like this before. I was thinking along these lines as well, agreed. We need at least 2 investigations to know (kind of) what kind of cop we are. Interesting point raised by kevin as well, the goon will also probably claim cop, so it will be interesting to see how things go.
  13. Holy crap, back after 2072 days! Welcome back.
