kevin has just claimed VT ( did it still out of no where, it was not necessary) and has not told us his character name Thanks. I missed that. So now both Kevin and Torres have appeared to have fully claimed. It’s entirely possible that one or both of them could be VT’s but we’re running out of possible scum and time to make a decision for the day. If they are somehow both town then there is most likely 3 scum hiding in: Brewers Captainjf Lyner Rafay Wolfpacks Having said that, without any evidence being presented and time running out, there isn’t really a case against anyone on that list currently.

@Robert - Are you posting hypothetically or..? Also, FOS on those who voted for LWW without really considering why he was suggesting such a game strategy.

Either could be justified. Kevin has claimed VT so far but I don’t believe Torres has claimed anything other than “you’ve got the wrong guy”.

Vote early and vote fast! No other reasoning really. I don't know if this is just your style of play or not, but I find this mentality benefits scum more than it does the town. It makes me want to put my vote on you, but I am not prepared to vote yet since the day just started. I’m inclined to think this way as well. @Torres - So you voted Rafay just because?

Tony didn’t help his case.. at all. His refusal to offer up any explanation for his actions or defense for himself, even when asked by me, were completely anti-town. Also, a FoS on everyone is literally what mafia is. Do we really need to highlight that?

You don’t get bothBoth of what? A defense for yourself and any additional thoughts you might have? A Town player should do the following at the very least: 1) Defend themselves if they are in line to be incorrectly lynched. 2) Offer up any final thoughts they might have before they get lynched since they still win if the town wins.

Was hoping we’d see some justification for your actions but it doesn’t look like you’ve provided any defense for yourself. If you are town, would you share some final thoughts with us in case you are lynched? Vote: Tony I believe that is 4 votes for Tony and 4 votes for MK currently. Deadline is at 8pm tonight and it’ll take two more votes to lynch someone.

In a normal game, I’d say so. In this game I don’t think it was completely crazy because we know the limitations of every role in the game and almost all actions are expended by that time so I get why he suggested it.

You’re right, it doesn’t make them town. It doesn’t make him scum though either. I still don’t agree with lynching anyone for suggesting a game strategy unless it is so egregiously scummy that it can’t be overlooked. I see LWW’s line of thinking here so I don’t think that’s the case. I think a no lynch is a better option today.

I may only have 10 posts but 7 of them have come in the last 2.5 days. As far as tony is concerned, if we lynch today, I think I’d agree with Brewers argument in favor of it being Tony. I believe deadline is today, unless we can get an extension. Do we know what time?

Every game, every situation, and every player is different so that’s a hard question to answer. Here’s what we know for sure: There are already two confirmed VT’s in this game — Robert and Velocity. Kevin has also claimed VT and I don’t have any reason to doubt him at this time. It doesn’t seem like this game will be role heavy.

Again, I know nothing about Dark Souls lore but this is interesting information at least. However, it doesn't automatically make him scum. LWW could have aligned characters however he wanted. Additionally, I wouldn't be quick to assume this all means that he isn't a VT either. We've seen several confirmed VT's already and a couple semi-claimed VT's. I don't think this is a role madness game.

Lynching today is not low risk, high reward. I would classify it as high risk with a slim chance of high reward since we are much more likely to lynch a town PR. Having said that, there are of course a lot of power roles to work with. I think I'm leaning towards giving them all at least one night to work. If we choose to lynch tomorrow that's fine but at least then whomever is in line to be lynched can at least share one night's worth of actions with us first which could help later.

I was just referring to my own role. ...which is what started Lord MK's "you shouldn't claim but I'm claiming now" Got it. It doesn't seem like we're working with a role madness game.

Well, he wasn't merely suggesting. He was pretty much trying to force it. Trying to force it? I don't really think you can be forced to do anything by anyone else. It seems to me like he made a suggestion and others simply disagreed.

Sorry folks. I have still been dealing with some health issues and had a small procedure this week. I’m back. Unfortunately I don’t have much to add right now. I don’t know much about the theme and don’t really see much that is noteworthy yet. Kevin posted a couple days ago that there is at least one more VT in the game. @Kevin - Was that something that you learned from the flavor text?

Does anyone have a reason for lynching lww other than him suggesting possibly no lynching multiple days?

I’m sort of on the fence, but looking at it how ferastical said it, if we don’t lynch we have a 0% chance of lynching a townie, but we also have a 0% chance of lynching a scum. If we do lynch, we have a ~24% chance to hit scum, and a ~76% chance (as lww said) of hitting town. That’s about it a 1/4 chance of hitting scum. If we did lynch scum, it would be very helpful to town. If we lynch town, it increases the chances we have of hitting scum in a further day, but also brings lylo closer. What we have here is basically early-game mafia, do we lynch and risk hitting town but maybe just hit scum? I’m holding off for now. My birthday is tomorrow, and it’s the start of my Christmas vacation so I might not post the next day or two. Unless I’m misunderstanding you, isn’t this literally the case in every game?
