I think this is a pretty good plan. But I don't think we should collectively agree whom to kill because if the werewolves *DO* have a roleblocker or any sort of PR role which can interfere with the kill, it will prevent Samus from killing the person we settle on.

Lach is correct. The mere fact that one has not roleclaimed does not in itself say much. Bear in mind that there are going to be some weak PR roles and some VTs amongst the townies. There's not much point coming forward if you're in that category. Nor is there any point in, for example, the doctor roleclaiming. Unless we have actually done something explicitly suspicious, be careful in your lynching.

I'd probably put her in a group titled "most likely a townie". Pedantry. I'm not particularly more suspicious than SM. Anyway, if anything Samus would be my #1 kill option for tomorrow, given his erratic play. Samus' lie was not a great look and would usually be an excellent reason to lynch him, however I am taking everything surrounding this situation into account and it's that reason that I still don't believe he is the first place we should look. 1) SBG investigated Samus and found him not guilty. This alone does not necessarily mean that he is town as he could still be a werewolf. 2) However if Samus was a werewolf I think it would be an incredibly risky and not very rewarding play to make for him to thrust himself into the spotlight as a liar by asking ABT to reload him at night. You saw the response from the town. His lie was immediately pointed out and was called into question. What does Samus gain there? The chance to possibly kill ABT or one other townie as a werewolf 1-shot PGO or 1-shot Vig? He would just be killed right away the day after. When the numbers are against you, a 1-for-1 trade is not a beneficial transaction. Samus would have been far more useful to a werewolf faction by staying quiet. No one would have questioned his previously claimed Nurse role. 3) Traditionally, Samus is a popular early night kill candidate. Role claiming a relatively worthless role (such as Nurse) early in the game could cause scum factions to look elsewhere long before looking at Samus so I can see where Samus was coming from. Now as I previously mentioned, lying is generally not a great town indicator. All things considered though, I can see where Samus is coming from and given the other circumstances surrounding him, I personally believe that there are better places to look first. So what's the consensus about what Samus' actual role is?

Just a thought: Rhizo knows he is dead tomorrow. That means that scum will probably nominate him as the guy to deliver the kill. If we have a one-shot PR who can find out stuff about another player (e.g. watcher, tracker) I wouldn't use that power tonight unless your power allows you to find out stuff about werewolves. Even then, whatever you do don't waste it on Samus (not that I think anyone would be QUITE that dumb, haha.)

yeah, but even so, you're still accepting Rhizo's word for it that scum attacked Rafay last night. I think they probably DID hit Rafay, but I wouldn't conclude that with certainty if I were you. fwiw I believe you. this rings true to me. But I'll be keeping an eye on you (metaphorically of course, not with a PR power. I'm not claiming to have or not have a PR power at this point.)

I would take any information from scum, even the fact that they attacked Rafay last night, with an enormous pinch of salt. Rhizo may have his own reasons for lying about that. I can't currently see any, but it's possible. In which case, we can't surmise anything about werewolf roleblockers with any kind of certainty.

Rhizo's analysis of TW and Samus is bang on, I think. The only thing I have to add is that I still don't want to lynch Rhizo today. Rafay first, imo. If we wait to leave Rafay til tomorrow, we risk three kills tonight instead of two. We need as many people alive as possible. So my vote remains on Rafay, but Rhizo is dead tomorrow. To be make sure this is not overlooked: imo AbT PLEASE DO NOT RELOAD SAMUS TONIGHT.

The reason I voted for Rafay was that I was about to lose internet access and I wanted to place my vote on someone solid before I left. Even if I had temporarily removed it I would have put it back on Rafay at the end of the day anyway. I figured that someone else could unvote Rafay if it became necessary, which duly happened.

My vote is staying right where it is, i.e. on Rafay. I'm inclined not to believe Samus' roleclaim. "Nurse" is an awfully convenient role to claim. I've seen scum fakeclaim it before. But I think Rhizo should be lynched tomorrow, and THEN Samus, assuming we lynch him.

I agree with your list, ABT. Although I will move myself into the "No doubt about being town" category. Have any of the people in the "most probably werewolf" category claimed a role yet? If so, I missed it. My thoughts on that group are: Canik - I thought he was town when the vote was between him and brewers but that wasn't really based on a whole lot. There's no way in hell Jazzy is deliberately lying. It could be that Rafay has some sort of special role that messes with the read that Jazzy got, but we should find that out when he gets lynched. In any event, I doubt it.
