TEXAS JUSTICE II

During the night, you hear a shot echoing from the town hall. Each townsperson alerts the other, and slowly a small crowd of people, each carrying a rifle, run to the hall. Slowly, carefully, you search the hall. Entering the Mayor's office, you see Mole Stargazer shot dead, his blood leaking all over his desk. Clutched in his hand is a note, written in a hurried scrawl.

 

"People!

The town is not safe! The mafia are about to kill me, I've not given them money.

Find them! Shoot them! Hur

 

The note trails off into a scribble, adorned with blood. Looking around with a shudder, you realise there are Mafia amongst you. The doors are slammed shut, and the rifles are readied - but you're willing to try discussion first.

OOC: Speaking of drop in activity, don't be surprised if I go inactive for a few days. I'm taking my laptop into the shop later today so it'll be there until at least Monday (I'm assuming). I can access this forum from my psp from my test last night, so I should be able to at least keep up with everything, just don't be surprised if I'm a bit quieter then usual.

 

Understood. PSP can be a bitch to write with, takes a while.

I know it sounds silly but how about a revote between the two we are stuck on?

EBWOP: (OOC:) Turns out the problem was not my laptop power jack as suspected, it was a problem with the cord. So I actually should be good to go seeing as I'll be on the laptop.

If two townies pull the trigger on us, then we lose. Please choose your actions wisely.

Can't believe I didn't notice this before, but isn't it a little odd that the one to suggest the revote was the same person that could have been the tiebreaker?

So where are you leading that to vgm?

I was simply just trying to break the stalemate, people were coming up with other ideas, I thought that I would add mine.

But vgm's point is that you could break the stalemate.

We are getting nowhere.

Since it seems that it is either Vgm or myself that everyone wants to shoot.

I didn't mean anything suspicious by it. I just thought it was odd / interesting / whatever word you want to use that your suggestion was half pointless in the sense that you wanted us to revote to break the tiebreaker, yet if you didn't vote Kevin, we wouldn't have needed the tiebreaker in the first place.

Talk begin to die down. Everyone was casting suspicious glances at one another, not quite knowing what was going on. Finally, after a little small talk, CanucksDynasty stood up.

"We're not going anywhere."

He quickly picked up his rifle from its resting place near the wall, took aim, and fired. Falzis staggered backwards, hit the wall, and collapsed.

 

10 agonising minutes later, a response comes through the door.

"He was friendly folks. Be careful."

 

Falzis, TOWNIE, has been shot.

Well thats a bummer... my feelings could have of been wrong....

That was certainly unexpected. I guess now the question is, do we aim for SJ or CD next?

Also who will shoot, should it be you as you were on the other side of the tiebreaker?

That's what I assumed would happen. Although if the others want to have a vote instead, that's fine by me.

Jesus Christ, didn't his dead tech you ANYTHING. Scum will save their bullets no matter what. There is no set rule that you must kill someone who made a mistake. You should be aiming for those you truly believe aren't one of us.

 

For the love of god, aim with your heart and kill who you think is the scummiest. At this point, any coordinated plan will more than likely be coordinated by scum. They are the only ones with concrete knowledge and can run the show discreetly toward their advantage.

I think CanucksDynasty was doing the will of the town so my desire remains that Vgmmaster shoots Sir Jesus.

If Falzis were scum, I really would have thought Curufinwe to be scum because of the attempted revote.

 

It still might be Curufinwe trying to save Sir Jesus if they are both scum.

 

Sir Jesus is still my preferred target.
