TEXAS JUSTICE II

During the night, you hear a shot echoing from the town hall. Each townsperson alerts the other, and slowly a small crowd of people, each carrying a rifle, run to the hall. Slowly, carefully, you search the hall. Entering the Mayor's office, you see Mole Stargazer shot dead, his blood leaking all over his desk. Clutched in his hand is a note, written in a hurried scrawl.

 

"People!

The town is not safe! The mafia are about to kill me, I've not given them money.

Find them! Shoot them! Hur

 

The note trails off into a scribble, adorned with blood. Looking around with a shudder, you realise there are Mafia amongst you. The doors are slammed shut, and the rifles are readied - but you're willing to try discussion first.

Fine by me. As for Kevin volunteering, it may be a ploy, but as he is one of the 3 people who we most suspect people to townies, I'd rather us have somebody who were either suspicious on or unsure on.

Things have certainly slowed down.

 

If KevinH wants to shoot...it's fine by me.

If we are voting...then I vote Falzis to shoot SJ.

Falzis doesn't want SJ to be killed eventhough (I presume) the majority has decided to go ahead with Narsis plan.

Falzis has my vote as well. The reasons CD gave are good and I trust vgm and Kevin over Falzis.

Just my order after a quick run-through from townie to scum (excluding jesus from the list seeing as he appears to be the next shootee and excluding myself so people don't accuse me of self bias).

 

Kevin (one of the 3 with a plan, but was shot down by mole as being game breaking. Places him at #1 for most likely to be townie, and no doubt here at all really).

Narsis (one of the 3 with a plan, seemingly pro-town in general)

Mango (one of the 3 with a plan, although he has the weakest plan as far as win in a town's favor goes. Seemingly pro-town, but with flip-flop position on a player and questionable comment. If Jesus is scum, probably moves to #2 on the list, if town, may move down the list).

Curufinwe (Nothing suspicious here, seemingly pro-town. Didn't rush to use his bullet (would new people use their bullet early?). However, he seemed anxious to see somebody get shot at one point.)

Canucks Dynasty (I feel completely in the dark about CD. Seemed very rational in the SJ discussions, yet didn't seem to be on one side or the other. Could CD have tried to get SJ to explain everything in an attempt for SJ to save himself?).

Falzis (Still doesn't want SJ to die. Not much else seeming too scummy against him).

 

I'm not going to vote just yet, but I'd lean toward Falzis as well. Canucks seems a bit iffy to me. Unlike Falzis though, he has said he was fine with shooting SJ, something I don't recall Falzis doing.

KevinH's post #174 said he nominate you but then a few posts later he said he'd still be willing to fire off the shot. So I don't know what to make of it.

 

As I mentioned in my earlier posts...the only good "feels" I have are with Narsis and EM...everyone else is undecided.

As to why your near the bottom of the list, it's nothing against you. Your just the only one here where I don't really have a vibe for one way or the other, unlike mostly everybody else.

Let me explain this, I do apologise for that, I am new as stated, and was eager for some action... have calmed down a bit now.

Lol I find it funny there's a snowballing of votes from the exact same people who want SJ to die for me to be the one to do it.

 

Nevermind that killing SJ who I find less scummy than EM (who has been playing over the top to push opinions to his side and always makes proclamations X is super townie and such) and CD (who has been playing under the radar) because mafia wouldn't make overt actions so early in the game. Shooting SJ would kill a townie and waste a bullet.

 

Nevermind that I already said way way back that I was ok with being the shooter slash shootee to follow the townie strategy but intervening circumstances led me to think that we should stave off shooting SJ. Nevermind that what I recently said doesn't mean I'm not agreeable or volunteering to shoot SJ.

 

If I'm voted to shoot SJ, fine. But I'm telling you, one, I'm townie so that would give you three less townie (unless I'm super wrong with my gut that SJ is not scum), two, opinion makers are getting away with things.

 

I vote for CD. I would say Curufinwe but I'd say CD first. Both have been playing under the radar.

I thought vgm is slightly suspicious because of the hint of a desire to abandon the plan.

 

I find Falzis suspicious because of his certainty that Sir Jesus is a townie; only the scum would know for certain who is a townie.

 

I'll join the bandwagon and vote that Falzis shoots Sir Jesus.

it's a risk i'm willing to take. history will prove you all wrong. i'm certain i'm townie.

it's not a certainty. you're skewing my words. be comparative. i said, with all the information we have right now, with what we know, i deduced that Sir Jesus is not as scummy as people think he is just because he shot someone and deviated from town strategy. aside from his justifications, any early game changing move would hardly be mafia strategy. there's a higher propensity he is an irrational townie rather than a calculating mafia.

With Kevin's recent vote that puts the count on you at 4, which is at least half the town. According to the towns wishes, please shoot Sir Jesus. Even if he is town he is still useless without his bullet. By sticking to the plan we have the best chance of winning and you will still earn a win, even though you were killed.

Sorry but I'm a vigilante. I'm not following no law. You can try me for heresy but I'm sticking to my beliefs. Let's see where it goes!

 

Shoot: Electric Mango

If someone shoots me before I awake, this will be my explanation. EM is the second to vote for me to shoot SJ, a scum tell if there ever was one. A trend vote. If I die before I wake up, I'd say the people who voted for me are the most suspicious.

 

Let the crazy lawless west, and more importantly the fun, begin.

Slowly, a crowd gathers round Falzis, urging him to shoot Sir Jesus. Falzis continues to insist that Sir Jesus is innocent. Falzis is being backed into a corner.

"No- BACK OFF!" He shouts. Rifles are raised.

In one smooth motion, Falzis raises his rifle and fires a bullet. The bullet goes straight through Electric Mango's left eye. Blood spatters the floor as Mango falls backwards, stone dead.

 

A few minutes later, a knock is heard at the door.

"No..."

Electric Mango, TOWNIE, has been shot.

 

After a query from a player, I can confirm that scum will win if they EQUAL or OUTNUMBER the town players, regardless of bullets.

 

This game will NOT count in the Wins & Losses thread.

Dang. I'd have no problems with being killed. I really look scummy even from myself lol. I'm townie, but I shot the wrong guy. I'm willing to pay the price.

So my slight suspicion on Mango was wrong. Well, I say we do this. Kill Falzis, if scum, kill Jesus. The fact that Falzis did not follow the plan is the tell all action here it would seem. The fact that he wanted us not to kill Jesus, and failed to do so himself...also, isn't it kind of interesting how Jesus wanted to shoot Mango but didn't, and then Falzis does?

Ugh...now we lost EM and have 2 unknowns (SJ and Falzis).

 

At this point...I would rather have Falzis shot than SJ. Of the 2...I think Falzis is more scummier because he totally ignored the wishes of the town and we lost EM and his bullet. Whereas there was a modicum of self-defense (eventhough it screwed the town a bit) in SJ shooting.
