@Preston - the chance of cc and TED being mafia is about the same as AKC and TED being mafia. I've outlined the possible mafia combos left (in previous post) with Kazio and me as townies. Honestly think cc is townie cuz of him roleclaiming. That move would have been dangerous cuz I didn't confirm he was player X and we could have easily lynched him.

Also...everyone has some small weak roles except 2 people who claimed vanilla townies. Kinda odd given what we have seen so far.

In this case I suppose it's best to go with the most "likely" scenario: believe that CD is townie and that a Kazio really is what he claims he is.

Those two I think I am accepting as town for the time being. I know I tend to overthink things, but you can't be too careful.

Thanks for the input here at least. I remember thinking the same during ccabal's roleclaim, that it was a very odd move. I still find his claimed role - chance to investigate each night - a little suspicious when combined with the fact that after 4 nights he's had no results; at like 50% odds, that's 6.25% likely to fail 4 nights in a row.

The only 'normal' role we've seen was the mafia goon. I could see town having ONE vanilla townie, but yeah - definitely not two.

 

So at this point I cant really think of much anything else to examine. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope we've got the right (bad) guy.

I might be the one they pick off too; I've accused several people quite strongly, and seem to be one of those who keeps asking questions to keep conversation going.

 

For the record, I think my current biggest suspect is TED... but I dont think ccabal is 100% in the clear either. I could maybe see there being ONE vanilla townie. Time will tell. Here's hoping we get another day at all.

 

Heh... on a more flavor-oriented note, I wonder if KevinH's removal after this day ends will be with the tone of being carted off in an ambulance or just keeling over dead again? Wonder what would fit the 'pool' theme better.

I'm really confident that we got a mafia as by the looks of AKCPLUTO's reaction,

it looks like he doesn't care that lynching him (if he's a townie) would cause us

to lose.

Valid point; I could see them reducing the number of "known" townies for the same reason they took out KevinH.

Well, naturally, I am saddened that my lynching will cause the town to lose. However, I can't seem to get over the hump in Mafia and so, I am resigned to my fate insofar as I have attracted 3 votes so far.

As night began to dawn on the pool, KevinH was growing weaker and weaker. Whilst the first-aid had given him life for the day, lack of medical supplies other than the usual bandages & painkillers meant that the water that had previously flooded his lungs was taking its toll. But still he made an effort to contribute, even though by the end of the day it was as much as he could do to mutter his words and point his finger at who he thought were the ones who had nearly killed him.

But eventually, 5 fingers were pointing at AKCPLUTO, who in turn shrugged and backed off from the ensuing mob (Minus KevinH, sat on the floor wearily).

"Come on guys, don't do this! They're gonna win!"

But his words of protestation weren't enough for the lynch mob, who dragged him over to the side of the pool and dunked his head in, roaring with anger. As they were doing so, KevinH leaned back and sighed, closing his eyes. They weren't going to open again.

KevinH, Friendly Neighbour, has died.

 

Soon, AKCPLUTO also went silent. Dragging his body out of the pool they found a pistol sneakily concealed in a holster, as well as a crude map of the building. They had succeeded!

By the time people's eyes started to flicker open on the fifth day stuck inside the swimming pool, the sun was already shining in through the windows. As the remaining IRONTowners walked into the pool, they were greeted with a sickening sight.

A few turned away and ran to the bathroom, covering their faces, as they saw the body of a small child lying face-down at the side of the pool, face completely blue, a small trickle of blood that had run from his ears now dried into blackness.

 

ccabal86, CURIOUS CHILD, has been killed.
